I took my car there one time to get work done and I recommended doing something else to car and they asked, "why?" They asked if I was having trouble or any issue and used the common sense of "if it isn't broke, don't fix it." I think another garage would have seen $$$ and performed unnecessary work. After emailing me 3000 times after booking the appointment, I never received a receipt explaining the extra charge. When I got home I noticed my center caps were all bent in the same place. I called. The guy was rude and insulting. I brought the truck back, he took pictures, and said someone would be in touch. That never happened. I had to replace not only the center caps, but all my lugs because they used an impact (with no extension hence the dents) and rounded several of them off. A bear to remove. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE.

On the web site was listed Jiffy Lub which is across the street. But, Jiffy Lube said they had new owner and didn't do these anymore. They said Brakes Plus was doing them now. The company that wanted this listed over 20 locations in the metro and prices from $20 to $40. When I asked at their desk the attendant said he wasn't aware they were doing this now. He went to the 'boss'. He told me, "Yes, we do those now the cost is $100." WHAT? I told him the listed price had been $20 at Jiffy Lube and others in the metro and had only come here because they were the closest to my home. I received a look from the guy in front of me that said...."Yea, but he's the boss." I didn't get angry, but I did laugh and made the comment that I would be writing about this online. Well, here it is. What I decided is, NEVER EVER go to this shop. If they will charge $100 for something that YES a different Jiffy Lube did in less than 5 minutes for $20. Ask yourself this! What are they doing and charging for everything else they do?

Mike had his tech perform a tranny diagnostic and gave me peace of mind that the transmission issue wasn't all in my head (like the other place was treating me). He even called the dealership when the service director there was not listening to me. Mike did not charge me anything for the diagnostic work and even called me to follow up to make sure that the problem was taken care of. Because of the terms of my warranty, I likely won't be able to have AAMCO perform the work on my car, but after my warranty has expired, I will definitely go to the Council Bluffs AAMCO for any future issues on my current and future cars. She said she goes to grease monkey, but I went to Jiffy Lube because they were closer to my home. I really really really wish I would've went to grease monkey. Half of the things I needed I didn't get at Jiffy Lube because the price was already 125 just for the oil change alone. But I needed an air filter and one of my headlights was out. It would've been an additional 70+ dollars for the air filter and the headlight in addition to the 125 I paid for the oil change. Had I gone to grease monkey not only would I have saved on the oil change, but I would've gotten my headlight done for free. That's what happened today. The headlight itself cost five dollars at Walmart and when I got to grease monkey since I had the part myself, they literally changed my headlight for free. I haven't been able to drive after dark for two weeks, but they have taken a huge relief off my shoulders. Not only that they topped off my fluids and zip tied my bumper which was falling down in one area. Again, all for free. I really really really wish I would've went to them sooner because Alex, who is amazing for an 18-year-old, and Cadence were super friendly and very informative. Actually, everyone was but I wouldn't have been able to remember all of their names lol but I specifically wanted to shout out Alex and Cadence.
