They asked if I was having trouble or any issue and used the common sense of "if it isn't broke, don't fix it." I think another garage would have seen $$$ and performed unnecessary work. After emailing me 3000 times after booking the appointment, I never received a receipt explaining the extra charge. When I got home I noticed my center caps were all bent in the same place. I called. The guy was rude and insulting. I brought the truck back, he took pictures, and said someone would be in touch. That never happened. I had to replace not only the center caps, but all my lugs because they used an impact (with no extension hence the dents) and rounded several of them off. A bear to remove. Two hours of waiting for an oil change, no one updated me that it would take that long or let me know how long I would be waiting. The cost was $60 more than what it said on their board. Costing $145 for just an oil change, this may be the correct price but the board was misleading. One of the employees (short, bald, old guy) was rude and unprofessional to other employees and customers. Would talk poorly about customers after they left. Completely unprofessional and I'm sure he doesn't care. Terrible service all around. Would not recommend coming here. They are reporting poor reviews to get them removed.

They then advised on the air filter, of course. My husband changes those so that would not be needed. Well, the driver rear brakes is bad. I said I just had them done in July 2023 by a different shop. They stated they must not have checked the pin because it is "seized up". Well how long will that take and how much? The estimate then came up to about $550 and 2- 2 1/2 hours. I said I would make an appointment and come back as I hadn't planned on that. A different manager than said I'll get you out of here in an hour. I reluctantly said ok. Well what do you know, they ran into "caliber issues" which would now cost me more. Over 3 hours and $670 later, I got my oil change and my brakes now feel like they are going to the floor. And let's not forget the oil plug I had to replace again. Last time was the same thing- replacing the drain plug. I don't trust mechanics to begin with and this just made me question them more. I never saw Steve after the $44.99 quote. Mike had his tech perform a tranny diagnostic and gave me peace of mind that the transmission issue wasn't all in my head (like the other place was treating me). He even called the dealership when the service director there was not listening to me. Mike did not charge me anything for the diagnostic work and even called me to follow up to make sure that the problem was taken care of. Because of the terms of my warranty, I likely won't be able to have AAMCO perform the work on my car, but after my warranty has expired, I will definitely go to the Council Bluffs AAMCO for any future issues on my current and future cars. Upon arriving there were no signs indicating the entrance or exit. I saw a small single lane road next to the parking lot that leads to what I could only assume was the back of the building but since I wasn't sure I kept going to where the bays where. I saw plenty of room there so I pulled in my semi truck with tanker attached and parked. I was greeted by 2 techs that where actually nice and told me that I was actually at the exit and that the entrance was through the small road that I had originally passed. They said to go inside to check in and we would figure it out. I go inside the office and that's where I see Lyle, no greeting with face buried in the computer. I approach and say "Hey, how you doing? I'm the one that called about the PM/oil change" He proceeded to tell me "Yeah you need to turn around." I started asking about being able to pull through and turn around in the back as there's no traffic and plenty of space and he tells me no, and states that I need to back out into traffic and come in the right way. He stated I saw you about to pull in the right way and then keep going. I explained that it's my first time here and lathered no entrance or exit signs. He started to get an even bigger attitude now and state back up and turn around. I explained to him that I was not comfortable backing into 4 lanes of traffic blind. He then started arguing with me about how other truck drivers do it and that if I didn't do it I would be stuck there. I told him that if he forces me to back into traffic and something happens that he would be liable and he said no he wouldn't. I told him again it is not safe to back into traffic and he basically said it wasn't his problem. I told him I will be reporting him to corporate and he didn't care at all just said go ahead! I left the office and talked to the techs outside. Because Lyle was the manager their hands were tied but they did offer to move some vehicles out of the way, giving me enough space to turn around in the parking lot instead of a busy road with traffic. If they are going to be strict about which way you need to be facing in the bay then they need to put signs that clearly state enter and exit like the have at their truck stops. Demanding someone perform an unsafe act that can lead to an accident and cost people their lives is completely unacceptable. It doesn't matter if "other drivers" have done it. The fact that other drivers have had to do this clearly points to the bigger issue of no Entry/Exit signs at this location, and the complete lack of concern for safety!

I bought a car at a buy Pay here about two weeks ago. It needed an oil change so I went to Jiffy…read moreLube against my cousin's advice. She said she goes to grease monkey, but I went to Jiffy Lube because they were closer to my home. I really really really wish I would've went to grease monkey. Half of the things I needed I didn't get at Jiffy Lube because the price was already 125 just for the oil change alone. But I needed an air filter and one of my headlights was out. It would've been an additional 70+ dollars for the air filter and the headlight in addition to the 125 I paid for the oil change. Had I gone to grease monkey not only would I have saved on the oil change, but I would've gotten my headlight done for free. That's what happened today. The headlight itself cost five dollars at Walmart and when I got to grease monkey since I had the part myself, they literally changed my headlight for free. I haven't been able to drive after dark for two weeks, but they have taken a huge relief off my shoulders. Not only that they topped off my fluids and zip tied my bumper which was falling down in one area. Again, all for free. I really really really wish I would've went to them sooner because Alex, who is amazing for an 18-year-old, and Cadence were super friendly and very informative. Actually, everyone was but I wouldn't have been able to remember all of their names lol but I specifically wanted to shout out Alex and Cadence. They have a return customer going forward, and I'll be sure to thank my cousin for the recommendation. I'll also kick myself for not listening sooner lol
