Asked about schedule issues and if they can confidently do this job. They also open at 8am, which is nice and the right time for me usually. I had to get my alignment checked because I had uneven tire wear on my tires, which I replaced last week. They were running a special on alignments for $58! More than $20 cheaper than everyone else. I left my car there and they called me about an hour and a half later and said my car was ready. So my wife and I went there and picked it up. The guy that helped me, don't remember his name, was extremely helpful and explained what the check up found and what my alignment was after they fixed it, But with their cheap rates and great service, I'll be coming back for alignments and other services.

Mike had his tech perform a tranny diagnostic and gave me peace of mind that the transmission issue wasn't all in my head (like the other place was treating me). He even called the dealership when the service director there was not listening to me. Mike did not charge me anything for the diagnostic work and even called me to follow up to make sure that the problem was taken care of. Because of the terms of my warranty, I likely won't be able to have AAMCO perform the work on my car, but after my warranty has expired, I will definitely go to the Council Bluffs AAMCO for any future issues on my current and future cars. Upon arriving there were no signs indicating the entrance or exit. I saw a small single lane road next to the parking lot that leads to what I could only assume was the back of the building but since I wasn't sure I kept going to where the bays where. I saw plenty of room there so I pulled in my semi truck with tanker attached and parked. I was greeted by 2 techs that where actually nice and told me that I was actually at the exit and that the entrance was through the small road that I had originally passed. They said to go inside to check in and we would figure it out. I go inside the office and that's where I see Lyle, no greeting with face buried in the computer. I approach and say "Hey, how you doing? I'm the one that called about the PM/oil change" He proceeded to tell me "Yeah you need to turn around." I started asking about being able to pull through and turn around in the back as there's no traffic and plenty of space and he tells me no, and states that I need to back out into traffic and come in the right way. He stated I saw you about to pull in the right way and then keep going. I explained that it's my first time here and lathered no entrance or exit signs. He started to get an even bigger attitude now and state back up and turn around. I explained to him that I was not comfortable backing into 4 lanes of traffic blind. He then started arguing with me about how other truck drivers do it and that if I didn't do it I would be stuck there. I told him that if he forces me to back into traffic and something happens that he would be liable and he said no he wouldn't. I told him again it is not safe to back into traffic and he basically said it wasn't his problem. I told him I will be reporting him to corporate and he didn't care at all just said go ahead! I left the office and talked to the techs outside. Because Lyle was the manager their hands were tied but they did offer to move some vehicles out of the way, giving me enough space to turn around in the parking lot instead of a busy road with traffic. If they are going to be strict about which way you need to be facing in the bay then they need to put signs that clearly state enter and exit like the have at their truck stops. Demanding someone perform an unsafe act that can lead to an accident and cost people their lives is completely unacceptable. It doesn't matter if "other drivers" have done it. The fact that other drivers have had to do this clearly points to the bigger issue of no Entry/Exit signs at this location, and the complete lack of concern for safety!

They're very prompt, unless there's a huge line in which case it is what it is. They keep track of how long they're spending on each car via screens inside the bays. There's 15 minutes allotted for each car I believe. They recommend add-ons, like air filter replacements and more, but aren't pushy about it. The guys are friendly and helpful, too. I found out during my oil change today that they have free top-offs between oil changes so you don't have to worry about filling your own oil, washer fluid, etc between changes. The price seems a little steep, $95 is the charge for a full service change, so I wish this was a little less. It probably pays off to have the free top-offs between changes, but I rarely need them.

Diagnostic fee was 200 something dollars. Got called saying my fuel pump was bad and it would be running me 1200 ish with the diagnostic fee included. I bit the bullet and agreed to have it fixed. Didnt feel like I had any options. I was told this would be a start to solving problems but not a definite. (Pretty expensive start, why not start out with the smaller issues?) Then I was told the cam shaft position sensor would need changed. Okay. Another 100 ish dollars. I got another call on May 12th 2026 stating the jeep is starting right up. Awesome. I pick it up, get home a couple blocks away and it stalled on me and had a hard time starting (original issue). I called the shop back and they said I could come back and theyd look at it free of charge but now im just frustrated because I spent 1,388 dollars to have the same issues. O2 sensor didnt get fixed even though the check engine light is on for that. Curious as to why they didnt start out with the sensors, why did they jump straight to fuel pump causing the problem? Im not sure. Excellent customer service in the front desk area but they got all I had in my savings as a working single mother. Ill be taking business elsewhere and get some different eyes on it.

Now, I understand that they can't just waste their time chasing codes for free, but yes that was a little steep. I paid it because I needed my car repaired, and I really do like them. That being said, they now charge $253 to diagnose a check engine light. I just cannot afford to pay $250 simply to walk in the door before the repair pricing even begins, so I have had no choice but to take my car repair business elsewhere. They do a fantastic job, the techs are wonderful, the repairs have been good, but they have priced me out of being able to take my car to them. I do recommend them if you can afford them because they do good work. Just be prepared for the price.
