A friend just bought a 2012 Corolla, it was priced a bit on the high side for that age. There was a rattle but they were led to believe by the salesman that it was no big deal - a few $100. Wrong! The 1st estimate for repairs is $6,000! The minimum that must be done is $4,000 (engine mounts & suspension/struts). A 2012 Corolla is not worth $10-12,000. Schrier selling a car in this condition should be against the law. read more

In February 2022, I purchased a 2019 Lincoln navigator reserve l. Chuck Hill was the managing sales person. He gave me a seven day warranty and promise to pay whatever I found defective during the seven day period after I received the car. Among the things I found was a gasket that fell off the liftgate, a problem with transmission that whiplashed me going at 12 miles an hour with adaptive cruise control starting from stop, and a bad rattle in the door panels. these repairs cost $487.50. The dealership contacted him three times over several months as did I about payment. He never answered my email nor their requests and I paid that bill. In addition, the sync module went bad during an update and had to be replaced. The cost was $1253.10. Mr. Hill disputed this saying that if I hadn't done the update the sync module would continue to run fine as it had run fine when the car left dealership. I told him that successfully updating was a normal part of a well working sync module. I told him that the following week I brought my 2018 Lincoln navigator l black label to have the very same module updated and everything went fine. The module now works as fine after the update as before. Therefore, the conclusion is that the module what is defective and a legitimate warranty repair. I paid for this as well. I sent this to Jeff Schreier in August, 2022 and so far, no reply received. read more

I purchased my last vehicle from here after my car was totaled in an accident. I was not anticipating having to buy a new car and was stressed about the whole process. After buying a vehicle from here I don't think I can ever go back to a regular dealership. Instead of sitting at a dealership for 4+ hours looking at various vehicles and haggling with a sales guy who has to check with his manager in order to actually do anything, I called them, told them the general details of the vehicle I wanted, how much I wanted to pay, and when I needed it. Jeff, the owner, spent an entire Saturday searching all over the country and sending me various vehicles he thought I might like. I was able to consider them from the comfort of my own home - no waiting at the dealership. He was super patient even when I turned vehicles down for minor issues (I preferred the newer body style, I wanted a sun roof, I didn't like the paint color, etc.). They understand that a vehicle is a big purchase and are willing to spend the time to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. After a few vehicles they sent me one I really liked. I was able to ask a few follow up questions about the vehicle and then told them I wanted it. The vehicle was located in another state (Ohio I believe), and they took care of having it transported here. The cost of transportation was included in the price they quoted me, and actually there was not a single "hidden" fee throughout the entire process - the price they quoted me is what I paid, down to the penny. They called me when the vehicle came in and I met them at their dealership. Jeff walked me through the entire vehicle and made sure I did not have any other questions or concerns and it was exactly what they promised me. I spent about 30 minutes doing the paperwork and was done. If you would prefer to look at vehicles in person, they have many high-end vehicles at their dealership which is 100% INDOORS, so no dealing with Nebraska's ever-changing weather. They also have a really good website that is easy to navigate and has high quality, detailed photos of the cars they have available (my husband spent a ridiculous amount of time on it before he got his last vehicle and tells me it is one of the best car websites he has seen). I have had my vehicle for 5 months now and have been very happy with it. This is the only way I will buy a vehicle in the future. read more

I purchased a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 from Schrier Automotive. I originally found the vehicle listed on eBay. I contacted the dealer and worked with one of their salesmen. The salesmen was very friendly and I felt like I could trust him. I requested pictures of the underbody so I could see if there was any rust. I received a few pictures that looked like there was just a couple of spots starting on the rockers. I was also told that many of the vehicles they sell that have less than 100k on them have a lifetime warranty, but since this truck had 125k that it wouldn't qualify. However, I was told the vehicle goes through the same inspection process. I requested a copy of the inspection paperwork thinking they have a checklist and with tire tread measurements, brake thickness etc. I was told by the salesman, as well as the owner, there were zero issues and it was in perfect condition. We agreed on the price and I purchased the vehicle. Since I live in Michigan, I had the vehicle shipped to my home. Delivery was quick and the entire buying process was perfect. As they are pulling the vehicle off the truck, I noticed a large 6" rust hole in the rocker panel. I went back to the pictures I was sent and this area was completely skipped from the pictures. I contacted them by email to complain about the fact that I was lied to about the condition of the vehicle. In addition, it was discovered that shocks were leaking on the vehicle. I had the shocks replaced by a mobile mechanic and that issue was resolved. Fast forward a week later, I'm towing my 8000lb trailer and as I'm slowing down to get onto the highway, the brakes went out in the truck. Luckily the trailer was able to stop me from going head on into traffic. Once stopped, I crawled underneath the vehicle because brake fluid was pouring out from under the vehicle. I noticed what I thought was just a modified muffler on the vehicle, was actually dual exhaust. I didn't know this because since the vehicle was delivered it only had one exhaust pipe out the back. While I was under the vehicle I noticed that one of the exhaust pipes had actually rusted off at some point and it was dumping hot exhaust on the brake line. This was a situation that could have ended much differently if I didn't have the electric brakes on my travel trailer to stop me. I contacted the dealership and told them I wasn't happy and there was no way this vehicle was inspected. After multiple emails and phone calls, the owner refuses to contact me by phone and will not take ownership of this problem. In his eyes they did nothing wrong. In the state of Nebraska the do not have a lemon law. I have already had to spend over $1000 just to make the vehicle safe to drive. In addition, the vehicle has aftermarket wheels with no TPMS sensors, so the Federally mandated safety feature has been disabled. Like the other reviewer stated, I was told the vehicle was "perfect". It is far from perfect. The vehicle has been repainted and there are multiple yellow round circles in the clearcoat. The bed was replaced at some point and the white paint has peeled off in places revealing red paint. I realize it was a used car, but I also paid high Kelly Blue Book because I was under the impression it was "Perfect". In the end, all I really wanted was someone to take ownership of problem and admit they screwed up, which they haven't done. When it's all said and done, I'll have $20k into a vehicle that is probably worth about $11-13k. I would recommend you have any vehicle you are considering purchasing from this dealership, have it inspected by a 3rd party. read more

Went in on 3/2/22 to look at a vehicle I had seen on their website, they all were very nice. I explained to them all my credit information and what kind of situation I was in, they were the first dealership I allowed to run my credit while I was looking for a car. After running my credit they said they can only approve me for a 10k car, I asked them if there was anyway I can put more $$ down and Joel said it no because they still couldn't get me approved. I then looked into a Mazda 6 they had it was a 2018 with High miles, they also had a 2017 Mazda C was LOWER miles the EXACT same price tags on them, I told Joel if I could apply for the Mazda 6 the one with MORE miles on and let them run my credit again, I then got told to send in my co signers and I's bank statements showing I make my income, when I did, Joell said she can get me approved on the Mazda C that had less miles but it was a diff car but not the Mazda 6 ( again they both were the EXACT same price!!) I asked why and she said if I wanted to get the Mazda 6 with MORE miles on it they would need a down payment of 6500 but if I got the Mazda with LESS miles on it but the SAME price tag they only wanted 4500 down. It made absolutely no sense at all on why they would want more down a car with more miles then a car with less miles and then being the same exact price. I still sent in all my paper work and asked her if they could see if I could possibly get the Mazda 6 since they are the same price, after sending in ALL mu co-signers and I's paper work on 3/4/22, I waited and waited and texted her to just keep me updated. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM! It's been weeks now and not even a hey sorry didn't get a approved or something came up, NOTHING. These people just wanted to sell me the car THEY wanted and run my credit, after running it they don't even try for you or even contact you back ever again which to me them knowing I was car less and needed a car was extremely unprofessional! I wouldn't recommend only because they could of reached back out, I never knew what happened with all the paperwork I sent or even never knew what the banks said. Super disappointed and really was not expecting for these people to act this way. So no I wouldn't recommend going here unless you like to be left with absolutely no answers and treated like you are not worthy of there cars with high miles! read more

No one REALLY wants to go look at cars, let alone sit in a dealership for hours on end waiting for someone to make a decision about price or whatever else. It was Saturday afternoon and I was being held hostage by my husband who was "just looking" for a convertible for me this Spring---dude it's the dead of Winter. Can't this wait? There goes an entire Saturday for me...ugghhh!!! We found a cute 2 seater at Schrier. I told my husband I needed 4 seats, but he just HAD to drive it anyway. So, he and my daughter took the car out for a spin. (Yep, I thought it was strange too. Isn't this car for me??? Why am I sitting in the office?) My husband had a list of other cars to look at, so we gathered the car's information, the salesman's info (Frank---top notch guy!!!) and headed out. Seriously, all afternoon we go from one place to another and all I can think is how good of shape that stupid 2 seater is compared to EVERYTHING else I find. I start thinking, "Do I really need 4 seats?" It's late now...close to 5:00 PM...when we finally arrive at home. Have I been brainwashed over the course of a day of looking at cars? I think I want to go back and look at the stupid 2 seater again, but I am not going back to sit in an office and "wheel and deal". I am already exhausted. Looking at cars is stooopid. I told my husband EXACTLY where I wanted to be on price...no trade, no crap, and that I am an not going back unless they can work with me at that price point. So he called, and they accepted...contingent upon that I like how it feels and drives to ME. (Um, yea. Does anyone in my family remember this is MY car?) We go back...it's almost closing time. Yep, I think I love it. I tell them we will be back Monday to finish paperwork and take my new car home. They were actually going to let me take the car home without finalizing paperwork...but I told them no. That's not how I do business---it was a nice offer, but nope. Monday afternoon, I go in early without the husband...just to drive it all alone. I love it. Upon return at 5:00 PM much of the paperwork is done...just need signatures and a check. The car is freshly washed, full tank of gas and ready to roll! (BTW. Frank even came in on his day off to see us off! Great guy!!!) It took all of 30 minutes to sign off and head home. Super awesome experience! Great saleman--ZERO pressure! Who knew Schrier would be this good?!? And it should be noted, they have some of the best quality cars I have seen around! If I could give less then one star I would. We bought an 89 Bronco from Schrier on good faith since we are in a different state, and we are very disappointed. Our first ride out in our new vehicle almost resulted in being towed home. It wouldn't stay running. We had to put it in the shop and $230 later and a new sensor and it runs well. There is just one problem, NO WORKING HORN!!!! Try getting that inspected. We turned on the AC today and iIt doesn't work even though we were told $500 was spent on it to fix it. BUYER BEWARE!!! We were told this was a frame off restoration that was a daily driver. We have had this vehicle a little over 2 weeks and this is the second time it is going in the shop. Bought a toyota from them through ebay and the salesman assured me TWICE that there was no rust. The pictures looked good, but there were no photos of the bottom. When I got the truck, rust was so bad in the bed that you could poke a screw driver through! The bottom was very rusty. After a couple days of driving a suspension bolt snapped from being so rusty. First time I ever bought sight unseen out of state. Russ was my salesman, he couldn't have be more accommodating. He texted me 4 videos of the car and was prompt with any question I had. He even offered to come in after hours to take more pictures of the car. The finance manager was able to find us a deal that we could not find locally, we were amazed at the APR he got us for the loan. Process took 2 days, they ship everything next day air with a next day air return envelope with clear instructions. Jeff the owner even reached out to me and spent quite sometime explaining the process for buying and trading in a car out of state. Jeff is very prompt with emails and phone calls. That is very rare in this industry. You get the feeling that he really cares about each one of his customers, which evidently he does. I got my new car within 7 days and they picked up my trade in right after. so PLEASE do not use this vendor. we went with dent experts that are at the 72 and F st location in omaha Part of Schrier Automotive. Greg had offered to do all hail damage and repaint vehicle. left it with them and Greg had family emergency (understandable) but they then dropped the ball by having us pick up car stating it was done, when we picked up the first time entire car was buffed out except THE ENTIRE TRUNK AREA. When we pointed this out we were asked to sign off on paperwork, which we did not and asked for an appointment to get car completed. We then had to take back the second time , they called and stated car was complete again. We then picked up said vehicle the second time and the Hood was clearly put back on and not at aligned . we again did not sign off on it and asked them to fix that, and clips were missing and looked as if someone chewed them up putting back together, splash guards in engine and trunk area were also missing. All things when brought to their attention they were gonna complete this 100% for us , they understood our frustration??? When they said they had finally completed work i told them i would not sign off until I took to Woodhouse ford to make sure all parts paid for were put back on correctly. They agreed and said to let them know they would take care of anything that was not right. We have had car at Woodhouse for the last month trying to get Schrier /Dent experts to do the right thing....They are now saying they did not agree to that , and that they did not do the damage!!!!! When they were the only shop to do HAIL DAMAGE REPAIR and got paid by American Family insurance a sum of OVER $ 3700.00 dollars.....SO BE AWARE SCHRIER AUTOMOTIVE . 72 & F BEWARE!!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NO GOOD!!! DO NOT HONOR THEIR WORD!!!! We now have a damaged car we PAID THEM WELL TO FIX!!! And mind you when we dropped off car and they wanted our business Greg and two senior members from Schrier were there telling us they could do the job....and that we would be so satisfied i could bring my other two vehicles for them to repair also , are you kidding me!!!! After a rough trip back from St Louis with a car that I had shipped back from overseas I decided it was time to trade it in. I began looking online to find the best deal possible and narrowed it down to a few dealers. I requested more information on a Ford F-150 FX4 and was contacted by Russ within 30 minutes of submitting the information. He was very personable and sent me more information and pictures of the vehicle I was interested in and scheduled an appointment that worked with my schedule. When I arrived at the showroom I was greeted promptly and introduced to the staff and then shown the vehicle. Everyone met was very courteous and professional, it really felt like you were meeting old friends. The showroom was immaculate and the vehicle inventory as well maintained and cared for. After test driving the vehicle I sat down with Greg and Russ to "discuss the numbers". Generally this is the most stressful part of any car buying experience. They did a great job at showing the numbers and made everything simple and easy to understand and was able to work with the budget I had set with no pressure and no back and forth between offices or hours of delays! Although I was highly interested in the vehicle they had shown me and the numbers that were presented, I decided I needed to look at one of the other trucks before I made a final decision. Greg and Russ were very understanding and did not try to stop me from leaving with the usual high pressure sales tactics. Rather, they said they would would be waiting to hear from me regardless of what decision I made. After viewing the other vehicle at a high pressure dealership, I decided to purchase from Greg, Russ and Schrier . When I got back to the showroom the guys quickly handled the paperwork and had me on my way in about an hour. Hands down the best buying experience ever. I highly recommend them!!! read more
