I just came here recently to get my nails done and I would like to say that I love the service and all the staff. I went here on the weekend to get a pedicure with my friend and ended up getting a manicure as well. She had made an appointment for us at around 1:30 on a Sunday and when we got there, there were a few customers. We were there for about an hour and a half they got exponentially busier as time passed. It was full when we finally left after we were all done. Now I'm no pro at getting mani/pedis, in fact, this was the first pedi I'd ever had in Canada and my first mani with my own nails (not getting acrylic put on), so please keep that in mind! We went and picked out our colors for our toes and indicated to both women who were doing our toes that we wanted to get shellac manicures. My friend gets them regularly as she works at a flower shop and they help keep her nails tough and so I was curious to get one as well. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to get the message because neither of us ended up with shellac manicures. My friend did note that you can't get the shellac polish without having an esthiticians license and that may have been why they didnt offer it. But we were never told they didn't have it. My pedi turned out pretty nicely - whether it was the polish or the way she applied it, they're beautifully shiny and pretty perfect. I normally ruin my own pedis before I leave the house so I was surprised that I didnt ruin it while still in the store. It's chipped now and its only Tuesday but I'm klutzy and fell over my own feet, so that may have something to do with it. It still looks pretty nice though! They did the standard (from my previous experience in the US) lotion on the feet and legs, got off the dead skin, massaged the feet, etc. Overall it was a nice experience. My mani was okay, the esthetician I had wasn't talkative at all and it made it a bit awkward so I ended up talking to my friend over her shoulder for the duration of my mani. I picked a nude polish that was fairly sheer so she asked me if I wanted two coats and I said yes (you'd think two coats of color would be standard). Again, it's Tuesday now and I'm less than impressed with my manicure. Not only has it chipped, its also bubbled a bit and she didn't cover the nail very well. There are many spots where I can see just one coat of polish. She spent a lot of time cleaning up my cuticles and they look great, but she didn't take the polish to the bottom of my nail, so it looks like my nails grew out (and my nails don't grow THAT fast). My mani/pedi cost a total of $38 and I gave her a $4 tip, so all in it was about $42. My main complaints would have to be the fact that my esthitician seemed as though she was just working to get through it and it was a chore, that they didn't really listen to what we wanted, and that no one asked if I wanted a design or anything on my big toe. I suppose in future I'll have to be explicit about that. The good stuff included the thoroughness with which she leaned my cuticles and feet and the amazing amount of time she spent shaping my toenails to look pretty. I'll probably go back if one of my friends likes this particular location or if I'm on a bit of a budget. read more

Due to covid locations were limited. I decided to support local businesses. I'm very particular with my aesthetics. I decided to do a full set and pedicure. First sign was they have no liners in their pedicure baths. I brought this to there attention and she assured me they throughly disinfect. Running a business you assume they would protect and take the necessary hygiene and protocols during this pandemic. A week later taking off my pedicure polish I see a fungal infection and two of my toenails have fallen off. Terrible! I advise don't stop your foot anywhere near this location. read more

Great selection of colours, and the mani / pedi services are excellent. I've been going to this salon for several years and am always pleased with the results. It's not a fancy salon, but the price is affordable for ongoing nail care. I get compliments on my nails often! read more

Visited for the first time this past weekend. Had a shellac mainicure. The shellac brand they use is a cheap knock off brand, seemed to be ok once it was applied. She did a fairly good job, although I am interested to see just how long it will last. My only complaint is that there is a "special price" if you pay cash, and you can only leave a cash tip...their explaination for this..."so we don't pay taxes". Correct me if I'm wrong but is that not illegal??? I understand that this may be standard practice for most nail salon's but it still feels a bit wrong to me. Went in for a manicure that lasted for about ten minutes. The quickest manicure I have gotten and it wasn't because they were efficient. They did a quick job that I easily could have done at home. The only positive was that it was 16 dollars, but even for that price it was a waste. Don't waste your money . read more

Went in to get a full set of gel nails. It is not my first time here, I go every once in a while to get a full set when I feel like it. The employees are always really nice and welcoming. However this time I was caught off guard by the cost of it all at the end... $56 for gel nails and shellac on top. $60 with tip. It just seemed excessive for a full set which was $35 BUT adding shellac made it $56? So they charged me $20 for shellac. No way. And also during when I had asked for GEL nails she pulls out liquid and powder which I am pretty sure is acrylic? But she told me gel can come in a powder too? And used the powder and charged me for gel nails... just seemed odd to me because from what I have read gel is in gel form not powder... correct me if I am wrong please. Anyways the nails were nice enough but the price was shocking and never disclosed to me during the process. I know of other places that don't charge extra for shellac... and certainly not $20. maybe MAYBE $5-10. read more

i've been going to this place for years and the only good people to do your nails is kim, the owner, and jenny. i've been getting false nails for over two years now and their technique is not as good as other places. very disappointed when i would ask for a certain thing done and they would totally ignore my request. i suggest going to othernaill places in ajax, better prices and better quality read more

Worst service ever!!! There were 3 ppl working on a Sunday..had to wait 15 mins the guy started doing my nails and after 10 mins in raised his hands and refused to finish my nails because I asked him how long it would take ..then another girl asked if if wait a half hour for her to come finish them as if I'd give them my money after that...pretty sure customers are intitled to ask questions.!!! I left and went somewhere else where my 50 dollars was appreciated .. He also sawed them down in all different shapes that the girl at the other place had to completely do another shape to salvage them...horrible experience.don't waste your money read more

My daughter had a shellac manicure and it peeled off in a week. The owner said it was only guaranteed for a couple days would only redo two nails. I was livid customer service is crap they rush you through in a half hour cheap out on product. Just all around bad experience. We will never return and I hope they lose business until they change the way they deal with people very rude and flippant. read more

Just left Napa the guy who is the owner an absolute jerk. If he smiled his face would break. Got a fill and after he painted noticed my my own color was still in the crevices. And I also needed a pedicure so he tells me to go to the back doesn't help me my nails are wet, told me to sit in the in chair for your pedicure. My hands are still wet nobody would help me. I had to roll up my own pant leg. My usual place they take your purse help u into chair and aid with roll up. The girl was nice and when I was done she was going to move me and I said all just leave me here on the massage chair if that's okay. She said fine then the jerk comes along goes move but I want to stay in chair Says no moves me to reg chair. NOT HAPPY !! Overpriced too. My usual place is under renovation I will never stray again. My usual fill is $17 here $23 pedi $25 same but not as good or long as my usual. I guess with a jerk boss like him it's rush rush rush.
