Came here to get my nails done on a whim…read more The nail tech was nice in the beginning, as she was alone by herself. When her other co worker came in, she sat right next to us and they started having a whole conversation in mandarin with each other. Her attention to detail is not the best, and when I was told to wash my hands, I noticed one finger had a chip already, and asked her very politely if she can fix that one corner; in mandarin she said I was meddlesome, which is pretty much the same saying in Cantonese, as she proceeded to fix my nail. Maybe if she had paid more attention to her own work and stopped talking and getting distracted with her co worker, then she wouldn't have done such a sloppy job. Now I understand why the other 3-4 nails salons on the same floor were busy, except for this one. Won't be back.

I was initially pleased to find Kimmy Nails because the technician seemed skilled, but my shellac…read moreservice on October 25, 2025 quickly turned into a very frustrating experience. Within just 2-3 days, my nails began peeling and chipping, and I had to return multiple times on October 31, November 1, November 4, and November 8, 2025 for the same issue. Each visit, the nails were sanded down and reapplied, but the problem kept recurring, leaving my natural nails damaged and weak. When I shared my concerns, the manager claimed they had done "enough free repairs," as though repeatedly fixing the same failed service was a favor. Instead of acknowledging a possible issue with the product or application, he blamed my nails, twisted my words, and even used intimidating language, saying they would no longer fix them after November 8. I politely requested a refund, but was told the service was "already done." I then suggested store credit explaining that I could return once my nails healed to fairly test whether the issue was really my nails or the product but he refused that as well. To make matters worse, other customers mocked and criticized me, even though some admitted it was unusual for shellac to chip so quickly. My issue was never with the technician's skill, but with the quality of the product and the manager's unprofessional handling of the situation. While the technicians themselves are talented, the management lacks professionalism, accountability, and customer respect. No client should be dismissed or belittled for raising legitimate concerns or seeking fair treatment.

Decided to check out Nail and Beauty Station after reading the other reviews and honestly, I was not disappointed! At first glance, the establishment was very clean with a cute interior design. Lindy was the one who did my nails - she was super nice, professional, and extremely patient with me, especially when I was trying to describe exactly how I wanted my nails shaped. She also helped choose the colour, which I am a big fan of! I had a full set of bio gel nails done, and couldn't be happier about the result. Definitely coming back soon for my refills (they also gave me a point loyalty card). I've previously been to a few salons in the past that for some reason, always managed to slightly knick my cuticle a little bit which led to some bleeding, but no problems here!

I used to come here often but they recently lost me as a customer. I'm still recovering from my thin nail (which used to be healthy and strong). When I went to another nail salon to take off my shellac, they commented on how there was a significant noticeable difference between my left and right hands (because the nail tech from this salon messed it up). I would love to say something positive but ever since this happened, I unfortunately won't be going back.
