She called the owner on my behalf and even reached out to her own contacts to see if someone could accommodate me. It's rare to find someone so genuinely helpful and professional, especially when they have no obligation to step in. If she puts even half that level of care into her nail services, I can only imagine how amazing she is at her job. I had gotten my nails done at Daisy Nails a few years ago and decided to return for their services. My friend and I opted to go to Daisy Nails and Spa for our manicures (removal and shellac manicure for me, a shellac mani and pedi for my friend) on a Friday afternoon. I called about 3 weeks prior to the appointment as I wanted to make sure we got our manis together or around the same time. The staff were prompt to take my name and number down during the phone call. Day of our appointment, although we arrived on time we still had to wait about 10-15 min for our nail technicians. I probably waited a bit longer. The place was a little over half full and all the nail technicians were busy with other customers. My shellac removal and manicure took almost 1.5 hours long (usually would take me about an hour at another salon, however, I did have to wait a bit in the beginning). My nail technician was attentive and friendly. I had 2 split nails which she was aware of and took care to cover them up. She also listened to how I wanted to shape my nails and made sure I was okay with the length. Manicure wise, she did a great job! My friend was also happy with her mani and pedi services. If you pay cash you don't need to pay tax. They do however, accept credit and debit as well. Overall, good salon around the neighbourhood. It is a popular place so it does get quite busy, best to book an appointment ahead of time, especially on the weekends!

I like this spot, they always nail it! ;) They can do versatile nail art and attentive to detail on that. Cons. They don't have the friendliest service and don't listen as much. But if you show them a photo of what you wanna get done, they will do it. Overall, I always leave with nice nails and a happy mood.

Bio-Gel Refill - $40 cash ($45 if you use card) Mr. Manager asked me if it was my first time and i replied yes, he then informed me to next time make an appointment because they are an appointment only nail salon. Which is fine if I lived near here and this was my nail salon. However I have a nail salon but I just did not want to head up then back down for what I needed to do. I do promise, if I ever break a nail I will call first. haha.

I gave her a few designs I liked, just a classic simple French manicure with white floral designs. She added some extra detailing and her spin, like pearls to the middle finger, to match my veil. I thought I needed to extend all my nails but I'm glad she gave me advice that I didn't need to as long as the nails are shaped well I can still get the look without discomfort after the event. We only extended one nail that was too short. She's located inside the Vermilion Medical Spa and rents a chair to work from. Green P parking around Elmwood Street and Yonge. Although the best way is to get there by TTC near North York Centre station.

She's really good at shaping the nails to the perfect shape and the nails last so long no breakage. I highly recommend her. located on the 2nd floor. In any case, some of their prices went up a little. Don't be surprised, inflation is making prices go up everywhere & covid supply problems also haven't helped. It is what it is. The lady at the front desk is very nice. The lady who did my nails, on the other hand, had no…read moreinterest in listening to what I was saying. She sighed at me and looked around in annoyance and rudeness when I asked if I could take a peek to see if the nails are the same length before she started painted them. She had the guts to tell me that they were the same length without even comparing them. I put them side by side and said look, the ones from the right hand are much longer. She then proceeded to start filing to fix them a little better. Then, I asked if she could let me know when she would fix the corners because they were too square (so sharp they could cut). If I remember correctly, she sighed and said "let me finish my job"...and it just went downhill from there. It was clear that she was exhausted from her day of work, before she even start with me, and just wanted to get it over with. She didn't even clean my nails with the cuticle pusher or the clipper and proceeded to put the fake nail and was hurrying to slap the colour on top. On my ring finger's nail, she tried to cut the frozen cuticle AFTER she applied the polish and although it scratched the side, she just put the top coat on and asked me to cure it in the machine. I couldn't believe she didn't even attempt to fix her mistake. When I noticed how uninterested she was (as I would ask how her day went and she wouldn't reply, and I would thank her on multiple occasions and make remarks on how pretty they look when in fact they looked awful, she would still not reply). On top of it all, what bothered me the most is how crooked the nails were in the end, and yet, she couldn't have cared less. When I asked her to fix it politely (i asked if she could and if she couldn't, it was totally okay), she filed here and there and stopped. At that point I was too sad and decided to take the nail file and do it myself. I paid $75 + I gave her a $4 tip just because I felt like it's the right thing to do, but inside I feel very saddened by this experience. I've never been this mistreated in a nail salon and I've been to MANY. I've seen nail technicians who have done a bad job but NEVER did I have to take the nail file and do it myself and she just got up, took her stuff and left. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed because I was looking forward to paint them for a long time. I hope she realizes how rude she was and how unfortunate it is for her because the team seemed fun and nice. It was her who simply didn't care.
