Not sure who was cooking today around 2:30 but we are bummed. The food should have been cooked a bit longer. Mozzarella sticks were still cold in the middle. Chicken could have been crispier. Wings were a bit mushy. The fries were good but we should have stuck to pizza. read more

This place is less than 5 minutes from our house so we have ordered pizza and wings a couple times since we moved in, but our most recent visit was the other night when we needed take out after a week of working at home again. I'm glad to report that we pass by here often and they seem to be pretty busy during this quarantine and we are happy to keep supporting them. Santino's is your traditional pizzeria with basic options, pizza, wings, subs, fish fry, and a variety of apps like pizza logs, mozz sticks, etc. We have only ordered pizza and wings. They don't have many specials, but they have a small pizza and single wings, and a large pizza and double wings. On each occasion we have gotten one of these specials. The small is really plenty for just me and my husband, but sometimes it is nice to have leftovers. On this occasion we got the large special with pepperoni, mushrooms and banana peppers. Overall the pizza is good, but a bit inconsistent particularly with the crust. Sometimes the crust is super doughy which I really love, but sometimes it is hard and a bit overcooked which is how it was on this past visit. The sauce and cheese part has always been good, however in the future I think I'll stick to just one topping as I don't feel like they are ever very generous in that area. My husband doesn't like that they cut a circle pizza into square pieces. It doesn't bother me at all, and we always forget to ask and see if they will cut it normally, so not sure if they would. They also don't feel like pineapple belongs on pizza, so that was a bit sad, but luckily I enjoy lots of different toppings. The have been really solid on each of our visits. The wings are large, meaty and saucy. I also like that a single order of wings consists of 12. We like the BBQ wings, but also enjoy the traditional medium. We usually stick to these 2 options because they are always good. Overall Santino's is a great place for pizza and wings. There is a small area inside to sit (of course not during this time of quarantine). There are also picnic tables set up in the warmer weather, and an attached ice cream shop with an outdoor window. Pretty solid pizza here. Doesn't compare to some of the places in Buffalo or Rochester, but for being the only place with pizza in this area, it passes the rest of a quality pie. Great amount of cheese, crust baked almost perfectly, sauce was very bland. Service was very fast, staff was pleasant, prices were average. Would def stop in again if I'm in the area again! Was in the area again, stopped in for a slice. $5 for a very small slice and a drink? Robbery. The pizza had a great sauce to cheese ratio, but with fake pepperoni. Santeria's Pizza is a building where they practice Caribbean religions, and sacrifice animals and such. Luckily this place is not that place. Santino's is a sweet little pizza place in the tiny town of Oakfield with nice owners. It's a tasty Pizza, big, cheap, and crusty. It's enjoyable more than it is incredible. It's a solid 4-star pizza. If you're in this town it's well worth a try. If you're coming out of your way, I'm not sure if you'd find it to be worth it. But many fans of pizza have never met a slice they don't like, so stop in and see for yourself what you think. We definitely enjoyed our cheese and pepperoni slice, and the nice service here. And don't forget the "Curse Of The Santino" which says that the Boston Red Sox will not try a slice of this Pizza for 100 years. read more

It's really hard to justify a 5-star rating, but I definitely feel this place is at least a 4.25 so I figure it will weigh itself out. The crust is crispy yet gives a little, and the undercarriage is solid with little flop. They could put a little more sauce on it, but at that point I'm just nitpicking. I grew up in Buffalo with all the best pizzerias nearby. I have lived in Oakfield since 1995. They have been here since before I was, make great pizza, subs, and wings. They have a small eat in area that is nice. The service is typical pizza place style. The menu is focused with not too much variety but all the main and plain pizzeria menu selections. Consistency is decent although if you order often you will get some variation and an occasional bad item. They are pretty good about making it right if you speak up. Local pizza joint in Oakfield, NY. Their pizza is decent, their subs are better. Generally has pretty fast delivery or wait times for pick up orders. My biggest complaint is that their menu is very minimal. I realize that they are in a small rural town, but I think that's even more reason to have a better menu. They only offer a handful of pizza toppings and their sub choices are pretty much bare bones. Veggie pizzas, white pizzas....where are they!? However, I'd say that their pizza is one of the best I've had outside of the Buffalo area, as pizza in Batavia leaves pretty much EVERYTHING to be desired from what I've experienced. I would say though to not even bother with their boneless chicken bites/wings. or whatever you'd like to call them. The only pizzeria in Oakfield. Thankfully, the food is incredible, and they finally started accepting credit cards. I still haven't found anything in Buffalo that's comparable to Santino's excellency, but perhaps that's the hometown nostalgia speaking. My only suggestion would be to adjust their hours a bit. The place is being run by young kids who don't know what they are doing or just don't care. Ordered subs and didn't ask for the rolls to be toasted. Got the subs home and they were burnt to a crisp. Also the chicken dinner was the same way. Chicken so burnt it was dry and French fries the same way. Ordered a large pizza. The dough was so thin that when you tried to eat a middle piece it just flopped so all the toppings slid right off. Tried for third time last night. The place was filled with young kids, music blaring so loud you couldn't even hear your self think. Got the subs home and it was the same way. Tomorrow afternoon I am making a visit to the place and voice my concerns. This place won't last at this rate and its a shame since they were a great place with good food. I suggest not to waste your time or money. It will be well worth it to travel to Batavia for your pizza, wings and subs. I give this 0 stars. read more
