Sante of Mesa really cares about its patients! The nice nurse names Markesha has great bed side manner. She really made sure that all of my dad's needs were taken care of while he was in her care. She provided great non-biased opinions on his care which were much appreciated. Poor old dad had a lung transplant and came here for therapy. The nurses were friendly and efficient, the food staff were accommodating and the nursing assistances always answered the call light whenever poor old dad wrung. The staff here are a lot less preppy compared to the ones at the chandler location [grandma went there] and I recommend this one. read more

To start off, if you have a choice Sante of Chandler is a lot better. The staff at Sante of Mesa seem to not really care about your needs. You could ask for something like meds taken in a timely manner or a container of water or even assisted help to go to the bathroom and they would say " I will let your nurse know" one hour or longer your nurse would come in and ask how are you doing and you would say I requested you a hour ago and the nurse response was " I wasn't told " this went on every day. Management follow up wasn't any better they always had a excuse. The weekend staff seem to be students in training from EVIT. read more

esertI was there myself, you can't leave your room, I heard negative remarks about me from the aides, some were nice and others were asses trying to find out why I was there, I was there from Banner Desert I had surgery hysterectomy had four organs taken out because of infections, I had sores on my bottom hurt so bad from the infection my kidneys was losing % funtuaning , alot of the aides didn't care about you I would have my light on for bed pan alot of the time I ended wetting my bed......my Medicare ran of money to continue ....so I left to home the home health that came to my home from Sante really cared about you , home health was great I came back am back to where I was before I got sick thanks to them....makes a different with attitude of people that work there, always around negative nasty attitude does not help! read more

Had a family member stay here while recovering from a stroke. Bad idea! The facility is beautiful, obviously designed to create a luxurious feel. The rooms are nice, and the entire facility is very relaxing. The physicians assistant was helpful and thorough, some of the therapists were knowledgable and hard working. Hence the one star. However, the facility is NOT equipped to handle patients with high needs, and they should not accept care of patients who are not independent. There are NO rails on the beds, a huge safety risk especially for stroke patients. Minimal staff are available to help, and the staff are under-trained and transfer patients to wheelchairs unsafely. If you cannot press a nurse call button, you are basically ignored, and even when you do press a button it takes a very long time to get a response. The call button was even "broken" for a full day. Needless to say, another family member had to stay most of the day to supervise care. We had to make sure meals were provided, because if you can't get yourself to the dining hall you don't eat. Vital medications were never given at the same time each day. If you view the website, you will notice that the staff and board of the organization listed are mostly real estate investors and business people, NOT medical professionals. And it is obvious in the care received. This is a business who cares about profits not patients. If I was recovering from knee surgery or any other minor surgery, I might stay here. For any other reason, stay clear! read more

On October 18, 2021 I entered Sante Skilled Nursing Facility. I was treated very well and greeted by a professional staff. The OT and PT personnel were superb and had daily visits to improve my strength. The case manager Tricia W was extremely personal and communicated often with myself & spouse about procedures necessary to have me go home at the proper time. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs help before returning to their home. The resident doctor and PN would come by twice a week to see how I was doing and improving. The personnel were very sensitive to my medical issues and exhibited a positive attitude also. read more

If you love your family member then you will stay far away from this facility. My mother was admitted due to undergoing a complete knee replacement in which she was left unable to care for herself and required nursing care. I wish I could say their ability to care for my mother was superb, but it wasn't. The first evening there, the man in the next room had fallen and was screaming for help. My dad and I had to inform the staff that he had fallen and was screaming for help. That should've been the first sign that this establishment is unable to care for patients that are unable to care for themselves. She was without a room phone for 2 days, therefore unable to communicate with my dad or the outside world. Her complaint regarding the phone was dismissed and we were left with the feeling that she was feeble minded and was unable to use the phone correctly. Many times her CNA attendants "forgot" to administer a pain killer and anti inflammatory prior to physical therapy sessions thereby giving her less pain during therapy. In addition, she was left needing attention 15 min - 2 hours after ringing her bell for a nurse. At first I went along with the establishments excuses regarding the failure of needed care i.e: the button wasn't working, the button wasn't communicating with the room light or my mom wasn't pushing the button hard enough. Late one evening I walked into my mom's room undetected and I rang her bell to ask for ice for my mother's knee. 2 hours had passed without any questioning from staff. As you can imagine I was angry. All of our worries were met with lip service and nothing changed. Sante of Mesa is understaffed, unsecured and outdated. No nursing/rehab facility should be carpeted since carpet can't be thoroughly cleaned, they should have security at the front desk 24/7 since they are open 24/7...any crazy person could come through the doors and nobody is at the desk during the night shift to keep the facility safe. Furthermore, a patient should not have to wait more than 5 minutes for care. Do your family member a great service & read all reviews of this establishment, not just the top "raves". read more

Today I picked up my wife after a stay at this superb facility! Sante' of Mesa has real 'feeling' people, a clean place, good doctors, nurses and HealthCare overlookers. Ingred is special! I am delighted with their services. read more

My mom has been at Sante for 5 weeks. Physical therapy good. Facility clean and food great. She received a serious bed wound over 3 weeks ago that is being treated by wound specialist. I have personally dealt with many people from Sante and have been so impressed!!! So professional and helpful! Thank you Sante of Mesa!!!

So this update is 2 yrs late in the making. You see, my father died as a result of the blunt force trauma he received at Sante, the very night he was brought there and I told them he was a fall risk and needed to be in direct sight and restrained if necessary. Neither of these things happened. He suffered a cracked skull and blunt force trauma. He was sent to the hospital where I was called (Sante did not contact me at all). He was medical helicopter'd to St. Joseph's in Phoenix. He never stood a chance. All of this could have been prevented and Sante of Mesa failed to do this. My view is, if you are capable of speaking up for yourself and taking care of yourself such as needing rehab for a surgery, then this place may be great for you. However if your loved one is not capable of this, is weak or needs help in movement, stay far away from here. It's taken me this long to even respond. I hate what my father went through, the pain he suffered, because of not following a simple request. I've missed my dad at every holiday, every family event. I have missed him every single day for over 2 years and still feel like I am grieving. My only hope is Sante of Mesa reads this, FEELS this, and makes significant changes to the procedures. Nobody should have to go through what my Dad and my family went through. It was 100% avoidable and they did nothing to avoid it. read more

Sante of Mesa looked great on first look. First day we were met by a care coordinator (Trisha) who seemed to be extremely dedicated and on the ball. Our first impressions were quickly diminished as the more and more we tried to get information regarding my mother, we were met with silence and distain. One day Trisha would talk to my husband, the next day she had no idea who he was. What's worse, I don't think she knew who my mom was. She would send us emails that were intended for someone else. When we finally found a place to move my mother, I would guarantee that Sante would not release my mother until they absolutely had to - I guess they needed that Medicare money. The food was horrible and basically my mom would stop eating. They didn't seem to care much about that - when a family member was there it was all sunshine and roses. Unfortunately they couldn't follow thru. When you walk down the halls, you could hear people asking for help, which seemed to never come. Almost as though they were taking advantage of elderly people hoping they might not remember their bad care. When they did the laundry, it was returned completely wet. Almost as if it was just run under a faucet. My review - my advice, if you want caring and comprehensive care, DO NOT use Sante Mesa. In particular Trisha - who could have really given two $hits about anything helpful. read more

I needed rehab for my hip replacement because I live alone. After researching I chose Sante of Mesa. It has been one week now since I returned home from Sante. Going to Sante was the best decision I could have made regarding my care. The physical and Occupational therapy was outstanding. I gave them a goal of getting me in condition to walk up the 17 stairs in my house. They succeeded, and were able to give me exercises that I can do at home to continue my recovery. I have been to many physical therapist, and the therapist at Sante know what they are doing. They do not waste your time, they get you exercising and back on your feet. The rooms are clean and large. The nurses and aides were wonderful, always willing to help me when I needed it. The food was very good. The dinning room is open from 7am to 7pm you can eat when you want, as much as you want. Family and friends can have meals with you, and visit as long as they wish to. They will clean your laundry for you, many times I got same day service. The administrators were very nice, respectful, and kept me informed of my insurance benefits, and how long the staff suggested I would need to stay. To be honest I was a little sad to go home, this is a really nice place to recover from surgery if you need it. They also have a little Bistro that serves lunch, snacks, and Starbucks coffee. I highly recommend Sante of Mesa if you need to have physical rehabilitation after surgery. You will not be disappointed. I need to have both my knees replaced in the near future and I will be back for my therapy. read more

Avoid this place like the plague. Staff is horrible, not trained to deal with senior citizens or dementia patients. My mom came here after a long stay at the hospital and has been treated horribly from day 1. Most of the staff who take care of patients are rude, there are a few caring ones but that is a very limited number. They do not train them on proper care for lifting and transfer. My mom has not felt safe in this place since she got here. Therapy is not long enough, the 20-30 min that they work with her is not sufficient and they she is rolled back to her room to just sit for hours with no interaction. If you care about your elder family member you will avoid this reahab facility. If you are young and can speak up for yourself you may do ok here but I would never ever recommend this place to anyone and I will be spreading the word about the poor care. Lastly the management staff here is great at lip service that is the only comment I can give because they have not done diddly to help with any of the problems that have come up. DRIVE ON BY GO LOOK AT THE OTHER FACILITIES OUT THERE. FIGHT FOR YOUR LOVED ONES! read more

If you want a good place to go to for rehabilitation try another facility. I couldn't believe the ignorance and arrogance of some of the staff here. Especially the staff in the dining area. The food is junk! Believe me. If I owned the place I would keep the physical therapy staff and the OT staff. I overheard somebody saying, "I like it when patients stay in their ****ing rooms." No, I wasn't hallucinating! If you want attentive and professional care go elsewhere-I warned you read more

My stay at Sante of Mesa, was as good as it gets for a lengthy stay at a facility. The care was wonderful, the entire staff was knowledgeable, considerate and professional. The facility was immaculate, the food was better then many restaurants. If need be then I would definitely suggest Sante of Mesa. read more

We had dad here for rehab again. The leadership is not as solid as it was at our last stay. We've been getting a lot of closed doors and told what providers to use when my dad goes home. We've used the same companies for years. Call lights are never answered. My dad had to wait over two hours for his pain meds. No one answered the call light on several occasions until sometimes 30-60 mins later. NOT WHAT WE EXPERIENCED BEFORE! read more

Staff very polite, personal, attentive to needs, happy, helpful, professional. Also kind, and a positive atmosphere. . . from the cafeteria, to the nurses station, to interaction in the rooms. My dad was there for 2 weeks and every day was fantastic, because of the well-trained and up beat staff. Cafeteria food was great, too. Ingrid, Case manager, Sarah, housekeeping, arriett, nurse, Lisa, OT, and Kimberly, PT. are staff I remember and were outstanding. BUT, everyone was exceptional! Thank you for taking such great care of my dad! read more

This is my follow-up to the previous critical 3 star review of my stay at Santé's Mesa facility. The Administrator of the facility has contacted me and reported that they have taken actions to rectify the problems I reported in my review. They have hired several new staff members to provide better service and place orientation binders in every room that provides needed information to new arrivals. While this is great news, even better is my experience with the Nurse and Physical Therapist who have visited me at home several times now to help in my rehabilitation. THEY ARE BOTH GREAT! My decision to continue with Santé's home rehabilitation was the best thing I could have done. They have truly provided 5 star service to this old man. Overall, I must give Santé Mesa a solid 4 stars now. read more

A great and caring facility during my 2 week stay for my total knee replacement post-suregry. With the exception of one nurse (which the problem was immediately handled), everyone that I came across was pleasant and ready to help me. But some of their staff went beyond the normal, as they were genuinely sincere, loving and totally amazing, which we found very rare in today's work force. The Physical and Occupational theraphists, were number one, and a credit to my quick recovery! There were a couple of times, that I had to wait for my meds, but that was an exception rather than the norm. Having a private room, allowed for total privacy and ability to take a shower, etc. without any problems. The food at the restaurant was very good, but it always took a long time to be delivered, and items requested were at times missing. They would say they will bring the missing items over, but never did. But they have a very nice refrigerator in each room that allowed to keep items, such as fruit, milk, etc. at hand if needed. I will be needing my other knee to be done as well, and I sincerely look forward to statyin at Sante of Mesa again. read more

My Dad has been in Sante of Mesa for 3 weeks. I've been there almost everyday with my mom to visit him. It is one of the friendliest and most supportive places we've experienced. Almost everyone you meet smiles, says "hi", and offers assistance. His nurses and CNA's have been fabulous. They are caring and efficient. The therapists - Occupational and Physical have been wonderful! They know what they're doing and have really helped him get his strength up so he can go home. They are kind and compassionate while making him work hard! It's been great! We usually eat lunch with him, too. The food there is great. We've had a few exceptional meals there. The wait staff has been wonderful. They work hard to keep us happy. The patient's food is included in the daily fee for his stay, but we pay for ours. Very reasonable prices! And buy 5, get 1 free with a punch card! We've already redeemed several of those! I would definitely recommend Sante of Mesa. They've been just what my Dad needed. And we feel he's well taken care of there. read more

Having spent 2 months in Advanced Healthcare 6 years ago, I put my husband in Sante of Mesa with some reservations. Advanced was #1 on our list. HOWEVER Sante of Mesa has far exceeded our expectations and been a wonderful place for my husband to recover. The staff is always helpful and friendly to us and my husband. The therapists know what they're doing, and he is coming along great! Then the FOOD! We get to pick what we want, when we want, not told what we're going to eat and when we're going to eat it. (And the food is delicious!) And that's a big deal to our whole family! He's been there for 3 weeks, and will be there at least another one. We are very happy with Sante of Mesa and recommend it! read more

Our family member was recently in Sante of Mesa - he had been there last year after a fall and when he needed rehab again..he did not hesitate to go to Sante. There were some issues last yr, but nothing like his recent stay. We needed to be his advocate all the time...from little issues to big issues most of the nurses were just inept, or just really didn't care for his well being. The ultimate neglect was when our loved one was transported to the ER after having breathing problems. No one from Sante felt the need to contract us...we were contacted by the ICU doctor after he had been in the hospital for 4 hrs..those were hours that we could have been with our loved one, but thanks to Sante we were not given that option When we called Sante to gather his belongings and complain that no one called...the simple answer was "oh sorry", do you want to talk to the charge nurse.....check out reviews before you send a loved one to this facility...think long and hard !! read more

Staff was unresponsive to bathroom needs. Discharge was poorly coordinated. Harriet, case manager, lied to my Dad and husband blaming assisted living center for delay in discharge instead of owning up to her own incompetance. Coordination between family and patient was appalling with Harriet - on the flip side Lisa was fantastic! Have had experience with 4 other rehabs -- all 5 stars. Sante -- if I had a choice, a negative 5 star. read more

I am furious with how my mom was treated in this facility. After 3 brain surgeries, a stroke, and a fractured back in the past 1.5 years...this place did not provide the correct care that she needed. This was a last minute decision, because the last place she was in didn't have any rooms available. This will be the last time I allow her to be treated (mistreated) here. The place "looks nice," but looks are deceiving. I saw no empathy with the staff, when they were around to do their jobs or whatever it is that they did there. Meals were missed throughout the day for several days, her glasses were broken (I got them repaired but never reimbursed), she was very upset when the staff didn't get to her in time after pressing the call button, so she was sitting in the wheel chair in her own urine and feces countless times, her back brace wasn't put on her in over a week, she wasn't bathed regularly, therapists would be watching TV instead of paying attention to her during physical therapy sessions. She would be crying and very upset when I was able to visit later on in the day, every day or every other day I was able to go see her. It was literally one thing after another. I'm amazed this placed hasn't been investigated for neglect for their patients. Finally a room was available at another skilled nursing facility, so I got her out of this place. Do yourself a favor and do not allow your loved one to be subjected to this lazy excuse for a healthcare facility. read more

My mother has been in Sante for 14 days now. We chose Sante' after going to several facilities. It is first and foremost, an excellent care facility with occupational and physical therapy every day for rehabilitation with a very well equipped gym. There is speech therapy for cognitive reinforcement. Group activities help round out the very long recovery days. Additionally, there is a chef that makes meals to order with a menu that varies from day to day and the food is very good. The building, dining room, and client rooms are set up as a very warm and lovely hotel. However....the best part of this facility is certainly the staff! The staff from administration, nursing, assistants, therapy, chef, hosts, servers, social staff, transportation, and cleaning ALL have a smile on their faces and GREET you and address ones concerns or questions immediately. Our family has been so impressed with their apparent concern and attention. We would name people that have been so great to my mother and to our family but we simply would not know where to start as the entire facility has been more than stellar! We are so grateful that all of them have taken such great care of our precious mother. L.D. Haley read more

Everybody is very friendly and helpful. Our Uncle Jerry was there for about 4 weeks following a stroke. Unfortunately Sante is only a short term care and he had to be moved to a long term care facility. It will be very difficult for any other nursing care to measure up to the treatment he, and all of his friends and family received from Sante. Highly recommended! read more

I have needed rehab 3 times in the last year and a half each time for a broken leg. I had such a good experience at Sante I've rehabbed there each time. The atmosphere is that of a five star hotel and restaurant. The place is very clean and well maintained, the staff in every department professional and friendly. The food is unbelievably good everything is fresh nothing canned or prepared it's all made from scratch. The PT and OT staff are awesome very knowledgeable and courteous. The caregivers have made my stay here feel more comfortable in every way possible from prompt service to loving caring attitudes. The doctors here listen and consult with my other doctors and they too are caring. I can't say enough how much I appreciate what Sante of Mesa has done for me. read more

If someone is unable to get up my themselves this is not the place for them, The night time & day time staff do not answer the call button. My elderly mother-in-law fell and broke her shoulder and was sent here to rehab. She couldn't get out of bed without help to use the bathroom and because of the delay from the staff she would end up peeing herself. Also they didn't make sure that she got a shower every day and ended up with a horrible rash under her breasts, besides smelling terrible from peeing on herself several times. My sister-in-law was told she would have to stay with her through the night as they did not want to deal with her. Last night after pressing the call button many times with no response my sister-in-law went out and told the night shift nurse that it was unacceptable the way they treated their patients and the nurses response was "Well you know where the door is" REALLY!!!! I would never send anyone to this place EVER!!! read more

I was was really surprised to see a negative review on here. My experience has been nothing but positive. My 78 year old family member is there. I visit everyday twice a day. When the call buttons are pressed I don't think we have ever waited longer than 5 min, for someone to respond. They are friendly and pleasant. I really like the food, the burgers and cobb salad are great. The chef has been in the dining room talking to the visitors and guest to ensure their experience is good. They are first rate, hands on and really go out of their way to be as helpful as possible. I had several tours of several facilities scheduled prior to my relatives arrival. This is by far the best hands down. read more

I wrote a review in 2015 when my Mom was in Sante of Mesa. She lost so much weight while there, became malnourished and dehydrated that she had to go back into a hospital. She was not monitored, very little personal care, was 85 yrs old with a broken pelvic but had dementia. When I went to visit we ate in their restaurant and everyone who ordered the Lobster Ravioli got food poisoning. And I had to come back to take care of her, to many patients were deathly ill for their staff to handle. The PT was ok but if you can't take care of yourself you better have a private nurse or friends and family there everyday because it's that bad. Even calling doesn't get results. I searched for a better place but she went back into the hospital and later passed away she was so under weight and neglected. Parking is limited. Staff are under educated. Look beyond the decor and eating anytime you want in their restaurant and bistro. Just because they have carpet instead of tile how clean is that? Seldom got her hair washed or even showered, I kept her clothes washed because she had messed in her jeans and was wearing them. As I said she was neglected and wasted away. read more

I would like to comment that Santa of Mesa is addressing all of my concerns. They have gone out of their way to improve any shortcoming I had when my husband was admitted. read more

Do not send anyone to Sante of Mesa. They appeared like a good place from reviews but looked at what is still happening today to my family member! A family member of mine was sent to Sante of Mesa for rehab after a hip fracture in October 2014. She was there a little over a week and was rushed to the hospital in respiratory failure. It was caused by C Diff, a bacterial she caught at Sante of Mesa. C Diff is an extremely dangerous bacteria that attacks the intestines and kills them. Most people do not survive from it. It can live on surfaces for a long time and can only be killed with bleach. My family member was rushed to the hospital in respiratory failure. Her intestines were so inflamed by the C Diff they no longer fit In her torso and were pushing so hard on her diaphragm she could not breath. She was rushed into surgery and they had to remove a large portion of her intestines that were killed in just a few days. They also had to put on an external ostomy bag. After surgery her intestines were so large they could not close her torso and had to leave the incision from right below her breasts to below her belly button open. She has had many other organs and systems fail as the result of C Diff. She is still in the ICU today fighting for her life and has made it this far only with the help of God. Family members were there and observed care at the facility. Healthcare workers went from patient to patient with no hand washing or any other procedures for infection control. Medical staff did not assess correctly my family members illnesses or it's severity correctly. My family member was throwing up and had diahrea for thee days. She carried around a puke bag and informed multiple healthcare workers at the facility. Nothing was done until a family member insisted a doctor see her 3 days after it started. The physician ran no tests for C Duff. A simple stool test would have caught the intestinal bacteria and prevented my family member from going into respiratory failure, enduring multiple surgeries for intestines infected with C Diff, loss of kidney function and more. No one at the facility called to let us know about the medical emergency. Someone from the facility called a few days later asking if we wanted to pay to hold the room. Talk about inappropriate! Then Sante of Mesa called the next day to come and pick up our family members things. When we did stop to get our family members items, 95% of her things were missing including her billfold, checkbook, credit card, drivers license, and more. We gave Sante of Mesa a list of what was all missing since they failed to inventory her items at admission. We gave Sante of Mesa 24 hours as they requested to do an investigation. 24 hours later we had to call Sante of Mesa and they had not found anything. We had to close all her accounts frantically. Then when we informed the facility we were going that afternoon to file a police report they suddenly found everything and left it at the front desk. No apology or anything. Do not send anyone there. They are only focused on getting patients, not taking care of them. read more

What a relief to get out of this place! I had a second surgery on my femur and hope that I can rehab in another facility. Banner of Ironwood hospital has given superior care and I was so happy to return there. The facility did not communicate my transportation needs very well when I was going back to the hospital...they sent a wheelchair transport, when a gurney had been ordered. I was afraid I wouldn't arrive in time for my surgery! Had to request a washcloth in the morning along with a basin of water. I was told that I could get a bath if I asked for it. Don't most people want to wash their face and brush their teeth in the morning?? I was unable to get out of bed and developed a bed sore...was left on the bed pan several times for lengthy periods of time....bandage on bedsore not changed for several days....called for pain meds and took an hour....finally got an order for q4 hours for pain meds. Never asked if I wanted anything to eat or if I ate at all. Meals that I ordered sat on the nurses' station desk until I questioned where my meal was. Facility is clean and attractive, but if you can't get out of bed, you are forgotten. My wife tried to get someone to get some shampoo and body wash and no one seemed to know where to find any. Thank goodness for a wife who came to bathe me every day. Physical therapist was not particularly compassionate and seemed to be concerned with only charting progress..I'm sure she did not like coming to MY room! I feel sorry for anyone who has to stay at this place without having a spouse or friend to help them get basic personal care. read more

IF YOU WANT T BE FRUSTRATED THIS IS THE PLACE TO COME! Do not believe the glowing reviews. My mom was here for 1 week. Saw a therapist one time. She had back surgery and no one was ever available to walk with her. She had to wait 30 minutes for pain med. She had to push the call button many times and still had to wait for help. They would just clear it. There is no doctor on site. They held a care team meeting with out any member of the family present. She had terrible edema in her legs. Asked repeatedly if someone could call her doctor to help with that. They decided she didn't need the level of care they provided there so they planned to discharge. She expressed concern that her legs were so swollen she felt like the skin was going to split. They ordered an ultrasound. It has been 5 days since then and no one has given her results. Her doctor does not have the results either. The place in Mesa may look good and smell good but remember never judge the book by its cover! read more

The Physical Therapists were great. Knowledgeable, fun to be with. The nurses and aids were pleasant and caring when they were with you. However, it was sometimes an hour wait before you would see a nurse after hitting call button. The aides would respond within 10 minutes, but they'd have to get a nurse to give meds and you would wait way to long in my opinion -- sometimes 45 minutes to an hour especially if it was at the 7:00 shift change. I don't feel that there was enough checking on patients to make sure that all was well. When my mother first arrived she was too weak and unable to use the call button. We ended up having to spend many hours at the facility to make sure we knew when the last pain pill was given to stay on top of the pain. The doctors are only in the facility a couple days of the week so if you miss them, you don't see them for a few more days. The facility is nice, the people are nice, but I feel like they are understaffed. read more

My sister went into this place for recovery after her intestinal surgery and passed away a few days later. She was healthy in all aspects and just supposed to be receiving IV therapy. We were told that she aspirated in her sleep, does not support as to why the police showed up to look at the room. I am a former nurse and know it's not normal protocol for police to arrive after a death in a nursing home. This is a huge red flag. There was foul play involved and Sante will not admit to any neglect activity. My Neice over herd housekeepers claiming to have cleaned room before police arrived.... Sounds like tampering with a crime scene. Please do not send your loved ones to this death trap. Under staffed, under educated nursing staff will neglect your family members. They doctored the information we received regarding her call times, and how she was actually found. At the end we were given a voucher for a free Starbucks in the building.... So unless you want free coffee for all of their mistakes please do your research and avoid Sante of Mesa. read more
