Best brunch I've had anywhere!!
***LOCATION***
Same as any place in Paris... easy to access by metro! I wouldn't recommend coming in car, unless it is an uber or taxi. Parking is hard to find everywhere and is paid unless it's after hours or Sunday.
***EXPERIENCE***
We waited in line for an hour and a half in freezing weather, but it was worth it! Came here to meet friends in Paris. I hadn't chosen the restaurant, and wanted to leave and not wait, but some of my friends were late. We decided to wait for them there, and by the time they got there we were in the front of the line.
We were 6, but just as we got seated another friend happened to stop by and wanted to join. They said no because we didn't let them know ahead of time and that there were too many people waiting in line, they didn't have enough chairs for us to pull one up. We understood, but they were pretty strict about it. Our friend left and decided to meet us later, and at the end of our brunch, the manager brought us some cookies to go and said he apologized that our friend couldn't sit, but that it was just packed and not fair to those waiting outside. So, he told us to take our friend the cookies, which was super nice! France is definitely not known for their customer service, so I was really shocked by this and thought it was a really nice gest!
Our waitress was also very nice and got our order taken and out quickly! Our coffees all had latte art and overall it was a very instagramable place. I think my friend found them on Tiktok.
It is a California-style brunch, and having tried several American places when living in Paris, this was the most authentic! It was even too authentic for me haha I was only in Paris for a few days and wanted to eat French food and we ended up at an American brunch spot! But it was definitely cute and as good as it looked!
***PRICE***
Average Paris prices. Honestly reasonable for the hype that is around this place! 5 euro for a latte - less than you'd pay at Starbucks and around 12-16 euros for dishes, but they are very copious!
***FOOD***
I got a PSL - pls excuse me for being basic. They did a latte art cat that was so cute and the latte was 10/10.
I also got the Chick'n Spicy Waffle (but my bf ate the chicken lol) and it was also 10/10
***CONCLUSION***
Definitely recommend trying this place if you live in Paris!! Just be sure to arrive early because the line is insane and there isn't much seating. read more
