    Avocado toast and Burrito

We arrived after flying through the night and found this place via the app. The place was slow, but weather beautiful so chose to sit outside. We were greeted promptly and our waitress spoke very good English. My wife ordered the avocado toast with egg and I the burrito. Food was served in about 5 minutes. We both enjoyed our meals and would come back. Let's be honest it was breakfast folks.

    The burrito, not my favorite

This place is awesome if you are looking for an artistic brunch experience and a quick bite. Our party of three enjoyed this cozy cafe which was nestled in a distinct neighborhood of Bastille. I enjoyed my latte with the cool milk design and my girlfriend's chai latte was perfectly sweet. Our service was quick as this place is definitely not a touristic spot, and easy to miss. Our waitress was incredibly warm and comforting, and she spoke English and was able to translate the menu for us which was awesome. As for the food my party enjoyed the avocado toast, and salmon with a Deep fried egg compliment. I had a burrito (probably not my smartest choice in a French cafe). The burrito came with spicy salami, lettuce, tomato and a special sauce. This was definitely not your average "chipotle burrito" and It was not what I expected. The taste of the sauce ruined the whole plate for me, but overall presentation was nice. The side of fries were also crispy and piping hot. My party on the other hand, very much enjoyed there plates and would gladly come here again. Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience - just stay away from the burrito if you are a chipotle fan ;)

Absolutely delicious food!!!! The avocado toast, pancakes, granola bowl, and breakfast burrito were all a hit! Kinda pricey but worth it.

I came here for a Sunday brunch with two friends. Luckily, they both arrived a few minutes before our planned meeting time (12:30), so were able to snag the last free table inside before I showed up. The cafe is really small, and cute, although was sweltering inside. We had the table right by the door, and the door kept slamming into my friend's chair when it was left open by staff or customers...just something to note if you get this table. The food was good- very standard brunch fare. I had avo toast with halloumi, which came with a little side salad. The bread was very dark and really good, but I thought they could have been more generous with the halloumi (I felt like I was rationing it). My friends had the breakfast burrito, which had eggs, some kind of meat, and beans maybe? It came with a side of chips, which they both said were great. We then took one order of pain perdu to share amongst the three of us, and this was really the star of the show. It was speculoos spread between two pieces of french toast, served with a perfectly sweet apple compote, nuts, and cream, with a side of syrup. I love how the syrup was served on the side (I much prefer dipping to drenching), and the flavours all together were amazing. Overall a good brunch (although I would have probably given 3 stars only had we not ordered the french toast), at a good price, in a great location just up the road from Bastille. For 4 dishes, one coffee, and two orange juices we paid about 50 euros.

Duck hash is exceptional, and avocado toast with salmon was delicious. Quaint and cute cafe with excellent cafe au lait. Friendly staff and highly recommend!

Adorable cafe with fantastic food and incredibly friendly staff. Breakfast burrito (!) was mind-blowingly delicious and the avocado toast was next level! Wish we could come back every week!

Great food, good service, kind of a hidden gem in a crowded area. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is great.

I couldn't tell if this was a real apple or some fancy French creation made to look like one - that's how real it looked! The mousse and apple bits were cold & delicious and the chocolate shell was good, but not sure if it was worth the price at €7.5. + Pain Au Chocolat Cookie - Verrrry good chocolate chip cookie, chocolate croissant mashup. Only thing that we were missing was some good ol' milk! + Almond Croissant - Once again, delicious! Solid croissant and definitely a good grab and go candidate. = Citronnade - Was just OK. Lemonade that was on the watered down side, but was somewhat refreshing because I was dying of thirst. THE SERVICE ----------------------- - Employee who helped us with our order was friendly, but the cashier was a bit blah and not exactly the friendliest person, especially when we asked for extra utensils and napkins. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ - Smallish, tight interior that you can dine in at, but don't be surprised if the next table is sitting on top of you. + There are also 5 outdoor tables on the narrow street. - Entrance is tight too. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- + Even though this bakery is ranked highly on Tripadvisor, there was no crowd on the Monday morning that we swung by. We came here for some coffee on a rainy afternoon, but were pleasantly surprised to see escargot on the menu too and figured we'd give it a shot. Coffee wise we got the vienna coffee which had chocolate inside. It was good, with a nice espresso flavor and a huge dollop of whipped cream on top. A nice pick me up for the day. The escargot on the other hand, was so fantastic. They were served all cute in their little shells on a tray, and bubbling when we first got them. The green sauce that they came with was fantastic, and the butter was also a great addition! This made for such a flavorful little bite - escargots taste like little chewy clams to me, nothing strange at all. It also came with a few pieces of baguette to soak up the yummy sauce. Service was friendly and the inside of the restaurant has such a nice vibe. I would definitely recommend this spot!

They have a clean bathroom upstairs, you'll just need to climb the staircase. We ordered the strawberry crepe and duck and asparagus galette bretonne. So there's actually a bit of a difference between a crepe and a galette. Crepes are usually sweet and made with wheat flour, while galettes are usually savory and made with buckwheat flour. Between the two, I enjoyed the strawberry crepe more, the strawberry jam made the crepe a delicious sweet treat. The flavors of the galette weren't as satisfying to my tastebuds, but I still enjoyed it. I would be interesting in trying other galette flavors next time. While my expectations weren't fully realized (I didn't LOVE it), I still enjoyed giving Breizh Cafe a try. We didn't visit enough crêperies on this trip, so it's something I look forward to doing the next time I'm back in Paris!

I had a dessert crepe with bananas and ice cream (think bananas foster, Parisian style) and it was very reasonably priced and delicious.
