Heads up -- this place seems permanently closed. Everything looks boarded up. Second place I've looked up on Yelp that isn't actually open. Maybe not the most reliable place to check for recent reviews :(

An American style coffee shop in the Marais. Very small like a lot of places, 4 or 5 tables, but nice atmosphere and friendly service. Cool and current vibe. Simple, small menu. Like a French cafe, you sit and give your order to the server, then ask for the check at the end, not order and pay first. It's tucked away on a relatively quiet street so not much for people watching and you wouldn't necessarily see it if you weren't walking by or looking for it. We had already eaten as we came after breakfast, but we had to try: the kombucha (daily kombucha drinker) which was delicious; the carrot cake- also delicious; ginger ale- legit ginger ale, and the coffee (iced and hot) both delicious. There weren't any French pastries, croissants etc., there's plenty of that around the city so if that's what you're looking for with your coffee you won't find it here. Would definitely go back for breakfast or anytime just to hang and/or have a coffee.

Loved this little cafe, it felt like we were at home in San Francisco. Friendly, English speaking service. The cappuccino was great, the toast with butter and jam was good and the avocado toast stole the show. Small place but decent amount of seating. Enjoyed the music as well.

A friend who frequents Paris recommended this place to me, saying it was a super cute, hole in the wall coffee shop. And she was right! It's on a small side street and has a welcoming blue storefront with a few tables on the sidewalk. It's pretty tiny inside, with limited seating, but they found a table for us in the back and we were served quickly. I recommend the apple tart! And the scone, which comes with whipped cream and marmalade to put on it. Both were very yummy. The cappuccino was also quality, complete with a pretty foam design on top. The patrons seemed to be a mix of locals and tourists, probably more locals actually. Super cute place for a morning snack if you're in the area!

A++ for coffee, the cappuccino with two shots is so good. The milk is so airy and the espresso is perfect. Maybe my favorite cappuccino in Paris. Everyone seems to rave about the avocado toast, so I tried it. It wasn't my favorite, the bread wasn't toasted and it was a bit flavorless, it needed salt or spices. I wasn't thrilled and didn't love it either. They had so many different pastries I'd love to try some pastries the next time i stop in. The space itself is a bit small, it's long rectangle with seating on one side and the cafe on the other. The employees here are really friendly. It gets pretty crowded on the weekend so make sure to come in early. Also they do not offer wifi, just a heads up! Worth it for the coffee!

This is my favorite place for breakfast/brunch in Paris! If you like oatmeal or avocado toasts - definitely worth it! And as a coffee lover, I would say that this place is so good. Try coffee filter and cappuccino, they are just delicious! Also everyone there is very friendly and helpful, will explain to you everything. Not very big place, but I guess it's even better. I'll recommend this place!

Cute little place! Very cozy and feels very welcoming :) staff was friendly. Didn't get to order any food since we were just popping in to have some coffee. We both got the iced latte and it was ok, not overly sweet and a good amount of ice ;) This place only accepts cards (no cash)

It's hard to find good avocados and especially avocado toast in Paris. Fragments is definitely one of the best contenders for avocado toast...unless you make it yourself and you're really good at making avocado toast. The menu is in english so they most likely speak english. The ONE thing I'd say is that it's kind of pricey. My friend and I got two two shot cappuccinos and two avocado toasts with egg and I believe it came out to around 31 euro. But definitely give it a shot. It's cool.

Fragments is such a sweet place. The porridge is so delicious. The eggs are soft scrambled perfectly and not runny at all. Service was amazing. Our waitress needed our table to accommodate a party of 4 and she moved us to the best table in the restaurant, right in front of the window. Lattes were so creamy and served with a heart.

Great Paris stop!! I loved the coffee, atmosphere and local cat that sits outside providing entertainment! :) Great service! And great avocado toast!

Seems designed for tourists (chalkboard menu is entirely in English only, almost all the customers spoke English while I was there) but the tomato scramble with toast was delicious and they make fantastic coffee. Warm, cozy space.

I couldn't tell if this was a real apple or some fancy French creation made to look like one - that's how real it looked! We came here for some coffee on a rainy afternoon, but were pleasantly surprised to see escargot on the menu too and figured we'd give it a shot. Coffee wise we got the vienna coffee which had chocolate inside. It was good, with a nice espresso flavor and a huge dollop of whipped cream on top. A nice pick me up for the day. The escargot on the other hand, was so fantastic. They were served all cute in their little shells on a tray, and bubbling when we first got them. The green sauce that they came with was fantastic, and the butter was also a great addition! This made for such a flavorful little bite - escargots taste like little chewy clams to me, nothing strange at all. It also came with a few pieces of baguette to soak up the yummy sauce. Service was friendly and the inside of the restaurant has such a nice vibe. I would definitely recommend this spot!

So there's actually a bit of a difference between a crepe and a galette. Crepes are usually sweet and made with wheat flour, while galettes are usually savory and made with buckwheat flour. Between the two, I enjoyed the strawberry crepe more, the strawberry jam made the crepe a delicious sweet treat. The flavors of the galette weren't as satisfying to my tastebuds, but I still enjoyed it. I would be interesting in trying other galette flavors next time. While my expectations weren't fully realized (I didn't LOVE it), I still enjoyed giving Breizh Cafe a try.
