Excellent coffee and excellent mocha. Loved that the mocha was full chocolate but not overtly sweet. Two small tables inside, two small tables outside, two tables and restrooms in the basement.

The latte and flat white cappuccino were amazing and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and seems like a hidden coffee shop in the city. I had accidentally dropped my cappuccino but the worker was exceptionally kind about it and helped my clean up the mess, in addition to offering me a new drink. The service is exceptional and kind to tourists as they speak English. There is also a nice toilette at the bottom floor. I would come again!

Thanks to Yelp we found the most hipster coffee bar in Paris. Upon visiting various Boulongeries, I noticed the coffee came from a nespresso machine or something similar. I was craving something more, so off to Yelp I went and found Matamata Coffee Bar. It's a tiny, beautiful coffee shop located a short walk from the Louvre museum (our destination of the morning). As I opened the door I noticed their art said "We love people, so we serve coffee". I knew I was in the right place. Matamata was a dream - pour overs, late art, and all the wonderful things I love about coffee shops. I opted for a cappuccino. It was excellent. The service was super friendly as well. They have a few small tables which were full for breakfast. They have a small, but tasty looking menu. Loved my visit here and was perfectly fueled for a day at the Louvre.

Had a great little iced coffee. No seating inside but a few seats on the patio and a small ticked away corner with a table in their downstairs.

I love this coffee shop, it's cute with seating outside and downstairs as well. Wifi was great. Hot cocoa and the chai are both really good. Employees are so kind- and all spoke English if that helps you!

    Flat white.

THE BEST AVOCADO TOAST EVER!!!!!!!! Alright fellow audience, some context here. I'm not a big fan of avocados or avocado toast. I came to Matamata Coffee Bar with only the expectations of drinking their coffee and only their coffee. Came in early Xmas eve with my cousin and noticed the big avocado toast sign outside. Yelpers clearly stated to get the avocado toast, and the barista recommended the avocado toast........, so we decided to get it. Wow!!!!! Best decision ever. The avocado toast was so delicious. It's not your typical avocado toast as it was sweet, spicy, doughy, not dry and healthy. Ever had one of those first bites where your eyes completely closed and you're lost in the moment, this was one of them!!!!! I literally demolished my half (we shouldn't have shared one...) because it was so good, while my cousin took his time... because it was so good!!! We probably took about 30 mins eating and picking on it, trying to figure out the ingredients. Eventually we braved up and asked the barista exactly what was inside. We were speechless about this and how good it was. We're both now going to experiment and see if we can come close to replicating this art. I strongly recommend anyone and everyone to check out the avocado toast. Just writing this review gives me separation anxiety!! PS the cappuccino and flat white was delicious as well. Great balance!!

From one coffee snob to another, this is the best Cafe Latte and Flat White in Paris. Took me a while to find good coffee in Paris, who knew it would be so hard? Cool vibe, friendly service. I choose my Airbnb close by so my days can start off right. *Closed Sundays in August. *Free Wi-Fi *Vip punch card *Accepts credit card *Opens around 8:30am

A cute coffee shop with homemade food! I found this place on Yelp, and since it was close to our apartment we decided to go for breakfast. The shop is quite small with maybe 7-8 tables. They do both sit in and take away espresso/coffee drinks. As for food options, they do have some deals for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, which are generally a good deal, but I didn't go for that today. I ordered a caffe latte and a slice of their homemade carrot cake. I thought the latte was not very strong and tasted too milky. Though lattes are supposed to be quite milky, I just didn't like this one that much. The carrot cake was not the type I'm more used to, which is more chunky and filled with spices. This one was very homogenous in texture, but still tasted good! The cream cheese frosting was great- perfectly tangy and not too cloying. The latte was about 5 euros and the cake was about 4-5 Euros.

Not a very big choice of snacks, but they all are delicious.

Pros: not too expensive, cosy, delicious cookies and nice service. Con: small. This coffee place is a little gem near Chatelêt - Les Halles where you can stay in a cosy environment and chat around one of the best penut butter cookie I have ever tried. The service was very nice and welcoming, I'll be sure to stop by in the future. Would truly recommend if you enjoy good coffee.

Delicious coffee quaint neighborhood and good food. Menu is small but sufficient. Seating is limited but most folks seem to take away so good for couples.

I am so picky with my coffee and this place does is the right way. I got some filter coffee ( no sugar and no milk) and it was smooth, nutty and perfectly brewed. I haven't tried anything else but I will be definitely be back as I spied the lady behind the counter baking a batch of cakes. It smelled divine!

I just moved here from LA and have been searching for the perfect cup. Here it is! Perfectly brewed pour-overs, aero press and wonderful ambience. The burristas are really friendly and clearly love why they do. There is also a very cool downstairs area not visible from the (very cute) street, so even if it looks full even there is probably space. I love espresso (which they have as well), but seriously - it's been near impossible to find great filtered coffee here in Paris. These folks are leading the revolution. Love it! See you soon guys!

Good strong coffee on a cute street. I like to grab a cup and sit outside on their bench. Proprietor is informative and friendly.

Small space, quiet street, good atmosphere, good coffee. They had run out of croissants. The pan de chocolat was ok.

We tried the jambon sandwich and chicken baguette, paired with a golden ale beer and coffee. Both sandwiches were outstanding--freshly made with incredible bread, generous fillings, and a perfect balance of textures. The strong cheese they offer on the side is a must; it pairs beautifully with the sandwiches, and the staff even lets you try it before deciding, which is a great touch. We did go around 2pm and unfortunately the pastrami was already sold out, which speaks to how popular it is. We also waited about 30-40 minutes in line, but it moved steadily and didn't feel too painful. We were lucky to find a spot to dine in, though most people grab their food to go. Service was friendly and quick despite the constant rush. The atmosphere is more grab-and-go than sit-down, with very limited indoor seating. Most people take their sandwiches to enjoy at a nearby park, which actually adds to the experience. Be prepared for a queue, but it moves faster than expected--and the payoff is absolutely worth it for what might be the best sandwich in the city.

These sandwiches are curated, edible pieces of art made with love by the one and only Alain. It's easy to see why they're so popular. People love the sandwiches so much that his stall inside Marche' Des Efants Rouges can see lines lasting upwards of an hour or more. And people stay in the line. We lucked out and only had to wait about twenty minutes. I tell you, I'd wait all day if need be. I often dream of the sandwiches we had and can't wait to have them again. A picture is worth a thousand words and therefore, my photos can tell you everything you need to know about how good the sandwiches were. It makes me smile when I look at the pic of us with Alain. What a wonderful human being producing wonderful food for the people.

Charcuterie did come with good presentation like wood board or anything but it was a good portion. I didn't read the menu closely and ordered charcuterie as soon as saw it. I wanted to have some cheese with it. I should have ordered assiette royale which comes with both meat and cheese. I also ordered Andrea which comes with burrata. It was great with salad and lemon shavings but anchovies were pretty salty. I suggest to eat it with some kind of bread. Between that two orders, I was stuffed and couldn't even finish it. Honestly it was meant for 3 to 4 people. One of the employees speak English and she was very nice. Overall experience was great and good spot to hang out.

We sat outside at one of their small table on the street. It reminded me of eating street foods in Asia; except this is in Paris. Service was good but could be better if they can explain us what to order on their menu. I liked the Burrata which was creamy with tangy salad and anchovies. It was a great appetizer for us. Charcuterie came with a paper box in to-go or take-out style. It had variety of cured meat slices. Meats had good flavors, textures, tastes from salty to spicy and tangy from lemon slices.
