On top of his great workmanship -- and strong work ethic -- Dean was simply a wonderful young man with which to work. Based on our experience, we'd highly recommend Punch List Handyman.

We had two different repairs/replacements to be done and are very pleased with the outcome. Pricing was fair and Jim really listened to what we needed. We first hired him back when he was known as "Steve Beam Handyman," and it's been amazing to see him grow and expand his services with the launch of Denver Remodels Inc. Over the years, Steve and his team have tackled everything from small repairs (like anchoring heavy drapery hardware into our finicky plaster walls) to major renovations (like restoring the exterior of our 1908 Craftsman). One of our favorite projects was transforming our mudroom by removing a wall and building a custom breakfast nook. This was a complex project, but Steve's expertise and creativity shone through. He even suggested a design element in the booth walls that perfectly complemented the Craftsman lines of our home - it's those little details that make a huge difference. What we think truly sets Steve apart is his incredible craftsmanship, creativity, and his consultative approach. He takes the time to truly understand your vision and offers expert guidance throughout the design process. Whether you're tackling a small project or a major renovation, Steve's deep knowledge and experience are on display with every project he does. He's always there to answer questions, offer suggestions, and steer you in the right direction, ensuring that the final result is even better than you imagined. His team is equally fantastic - professional, efficient, and incredibly skilled. If you're looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and truly exceptional remodeling experience in Denver, look no further than Steve Beam and Denver Remodels Inc. They're a standout and I'm so glad we found them.

It was a very good experience. The Bunn & Sons crew is very cleanly. They clean up every day. We were given progress pictures every day. The online project schedule (5 months) was kept current, and while some things moved around a bit, as should be expected, the end date actually moved in. Creating a plan, a detailed plan for such a large project takes a great deal of work. It did not come free, but in our view, the old adage of "You get what you pay for" holds true. We wanted confidence in the estimate that was provided, and that is exactly what we got. This was a huge project for us, and we could not have Bunn & Sons coming back telling us that framing, plumbing, flooring, roofing, demolition, foundation concrete, electrical, etc would cost more than they estimated. The project was completed on budget, a week early and with excellent quality, and it looks like it was always part of the house rather than an addition that sticks out like a sore thumb. It does not get better than that. Before and after pictures, below.

I originally contacted Travis based on his reviews on Yelp. a source I have come to rely upon. I…read moreonly had a small job I thought, replace a bathroom type ceiling exhaust fan that was in the laundry room of the house I had just recently bought. A malfunctioning exhaust fan is an odd problem to handle because electricians don't want to deal with duct work or anything they consider HVAC and HVAC people want to work on/replace furnaces or air conditioners not exhaust fans. Through Yelp I found and contacted Travis at Handyman Plus. He made an appointment and showed up right on time. The "broken" exhaust fan was not actually broken it turns out, nor was the switch which seemed to do nothing. It's a type of continuous running whole house exhaust fan unlike anything I had seen before. The wall switch which appeared like it might be broken wasn't it's just the way this fan operates. Travis got me all the information I needed to look up this fan and learn how to use it. A few weeks later I had a medicine cabinet I wanted installed in our master bathroom. As the wall area to be opened also housed the electric line to an outlet I asked Tarvis to do the installation. Again this was a small job, not the scale of work sought by many people in an up economy. Travis made an appointment, texted me when he was on his way and did an excellent job installing my cabinet; without hitting the power line or electrocuting himself. I'm really pleased with the work but more pleased overall with Travis of Handyman Plus. He is professional, thorough, capable and resourceful. I would not hesitate to call him for much larger jobs.
