Found a vacuum cleaner in my alley; looked brand-new but the cord had been cut. Took a chance and brought it in to Sani-Tec to see if it could be fixed. For $20 they took a look. They said it was probably a warranty case -- the cover on the filter had a broken latch. Basically when someone invokes a warranty, they just bring the customer a new unit, then cut the cord and discard it; what a waste! The guys at Sani Tec fixed the cord and I had a brand-new Bissel vacuum for $80! AND the $20 I'd spent for them looking at it was put toward the repair! They also cleaned and disinfected it. Plus they were super nice and responsive -- can't recommend them enough! So few places you can get things repaired rather than tossing and replacing them; glad these guys are here! read more

My overall experience with Sani-Tec was great. I have a 20 year old Kirby vacuum cleaner that has a carpet cleaner attachment that stop working. The service technician assigned to my repair was Henry (aka Mickey). He's the only Kirby technician that works there and he's been servicing Kirby's for 40 years. Henry fixed my vacuum cleaner and got it working like new again. Henry was very nice, patient and personable. The price for the service was affordable and I will definitely be using Sani-Tec for my future Kirby needs. FYI, you can tip the technicians but make sure you have cash since the POS system that Sani-Tec uses doesn't give cash back. read more

My trusted housekeeper referred me to this business. I had a rather new Shark vacuum which became clogged up. On Thursday November 11, 2021 This tall dark haired guy told me there was a $20 diagnostic charge and they'd call me "when they did the diagnosis" Saturday November 13 my housekeeper reminded me I'd bought the vacuum from Costco and could return it for a new one. I drove to Costco and they looked up my purchase and would indeed refund my $250 + bucks. I was so happy. I called the Sani-Tec the owner answered on his cell and I explained the situation. He told me he wasn't in the shop but I could pick up my vacuum. When I arrived the same tall dark guy was behind the counter. I could see my vacuum sitting against the wall right where they put it and it hadn't been touched let alone checked. I explained why I was back to pick it up and asked if I could have my $20 back since no effort was used to " Diagnose" it. With an attitude the guy said since I left it with them I couldn't have my $20 which was to be credited to the repair. Since there was no diagnostics done or repair done it was only fair for me to get my $20 back he outright refused. When I called the owner on his cell phone and explained my upset position he said he was going to take care of it call the guy and get back to me. No one no one ever got back to me I don't recommend this business they're bad business. read more

This place really saved my vehicle from the stench of rotten milk (the hubby spilled a WHOLE gallon of milk in the back seat!!!) I called many vehicle detailers, all of whom said they wouldn't come clean the seats. My regular car wash guy couldn't even clean the seats either. I came here and rented one of their vacuums and it worked GREAT!!!! It's Dec/Jan here and it's been cold due to the downpours for rain. I was worried that the seats were gonna stay wet and it would not dry and smell like wet dog (which is better than the stench of rotten milk) but the vacuums here really suck out the water. I hosed everything down and it sucked it dry each time!! If you end up in a situation like me, definitely come here!! I also recommend you doing a double application. Once when you pick up the vac and once more before dropping it back off. That way you're totally certain the milk has risen to the surface and you got it out. Eight years ago I utilized Sani-Tecs services for a warranty issue on a defective vacuum I purchased from BB & Beyond. And, I was very pleased with the results. So, I was hosting a little MPE last Sunday with some Yelper friends and all was OCD Michael P. clean except the carpets needed some I love my Carpet sprinkled on them along with a good vacuuming. Dirt Devil-plug-in-snap! Yeuop you guessed it the belt broke and I was stranded (Lucky for me I was able to borrow my neighbors Cadillac of vacuums-The Oreck). Now know this my fellow Yelpers, as I removed the pieces from under the vacuum to get to the belt I remembered that unless I am able to open the cereal box and pour it into the bowl-FORGET IT! I wasn't even able to put models together as a kid as I watched my dad, 2 brothers and the other neighborhood kids assemble Rat Fink Models etc. Also, the mere fact that I was able to successfully assemble my computer chair last year was definitely divine intervention. Decorate a room, make you over for a new look or pick out a wedding gift-YES-Put a belt on a vacuum cleaner-NEGATIVE! With age comes knowledge and memories of past struggles with projects such a this brought me to Sani-Tec. Now, Abdul didn't remember me but I remembered him and explained my plight. So, he directed me over to the service area where Domingo began to tell me the belt was close to $2 but if he had to install it it would be a $7 charge (which option do you think I went with?) If you guessed the smart one which entails paying extra to have the belt installed to avoid throwing nails into a spinning fan because of the aggravation I was going to encounter, you are correct! Abdul (the owner) is a great guy, nice and cordial with a dry sense of humor but a good soul. Domingo one of his specialists is not only talented beyond belief but, we had a very nice conversation in regards to how important faith and tolerance are and, is one of the nicest people in this arena I have ever come across. Like others I was very happy with my experience at Sani-Tec. I was so happy that I dropped $2000 for an upholstery cleaner for my business. They tested the equipment, gave a lesson a and checked to make sure all the parts were there. I am always happy to see families workinng together in a business. There were two generations. The crew at Sani-Tec was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. My BISSELL® Pet Hair Eraser® Upright Vacuum 1650A brush roll was not working. It stopped spinning and I noticed a burning rubber-like smell. Sani-Tec crew cleaned up my vacuum and replaced the broken parts for the fair and affordable price of about $45. Saved me from wasting an otherwise perfectly good vacuum which would have cost me another $250+ dollars to replace. They even helped me load my vacuum into my truck. They have no prices on anything, then they give differing prices for everything no one seem to know the cost, they all ask each other and call someone else for prices. My sister bought me a Eureka vacuum cleaner as a gift a few months ago; she bought it with a $40 dollars off coupon. The brush motor on it stopped working within a few months; I was left without a vacuum cleaner for awhile and had a variety of problems at my apt due to this. I decided to call Eureka to see if I can get it repaired locally, Sani Tec Janitorial Supply was one of the liscensed repair shops so I decided to bring it over there for them to take a look. They explained to me that it was pretty much a dead vacuum cleaner and it was probably worth it to buy another one instead of buying parts for the repair. The staff was very knowledgeable and I was confident in their diagnosis of the Eureka. I thought about going to Walmart or something to buy a new one, but the staff their reccomended that I take a look at their refurbished vacuum cleaners. I ended up getting a pretty heavy duty looking Hoover that they refurbished. It was priced at $40; the cheap price for these are $120 on Amazon. It was a good deal, I was even more satisfied when I used it for the first time (cuts cleaning time in half). If you are looking for a vacuum cleaner for a great price; I highly reccoment checking out Sani Tec before before going to dept stores. read more

I took my Shark Navigator in because the suction power was down to almost nothing and it was making concerning noises. After a brief chat with Henry, he diagnosed the problem and told me all it would require is standard maintenance to clear the blockage. Three days later I went back to pick up my vacuum and it was literally like BRAND NEW. Not only did Henry clear the blockage in the suction lines, but he completely cleaned out the motor and sanitized the entire unit. Henry does quality, honest work and I strongly recommend taking your vacuum to him if you have any issues with it.
