I used to go to a skillful and friendly dentist for many years, but each time I visited there for dental work she insisted on new services which I didn't think necessary -whitening teeth procedure, braces and extra. I am in my forties and have been quite happy with the look of my teeth, and when she said I needed to have braces put in so that my teeth looked straight and perfect that was the last straw. I didn't want to deal with any pressuring from her.
Since then, we have changed our dentists a couple of times. It seems that there are not many dentists who have put a patient instead of their paycheck.
When my daughter had an extra tooth grow under her gum, one of the dentists we went to, insisted she has a brace to open and hold the space for the extra tooth (if I remember correctly). We wanted to pull the extra tooth out and he looked at my husband and me with a look that said, "you are bad parents". My husband and I needed a second opinion. When my friend recommended Dr. Oh, whose office is almost one hour of distance from our house, we decided to make a visit to Dr. Oh.
His office is nice and clean and the receptionists are very kind. Whenever we talk about our opinion, Dr. Oh listens and explains the situation and he helps us to make a final decision. He is sincere and makes us feel comfortable. (And he pulled out my daughters extra tooth.)
Also, I have never had a dentist who took the time to teach me how to brush my teeth in a detailed demonstration. I used to have bleeding gums and my previous dentist used to nag me saying I should floss better. Since following Dr. Oh's instruction, my gums hardly bleed and feel much healthier.
Another good thing about having Dr. Oh as a dentist is that not only does he a regular check up cleaning but also does he oral surgery, too. That saves us time and effort!!
Dr. Oh has been our dentist for about more than two years. Dr. Oh is honest and trustworthy. (not a salesman) read more
