Called about a 30 min deep tissue chair massage. They said yes but they don't have a chair. She said it 3 times and I kept telling her that's OK because I assumed they have a table. They don't. I drove all the way over and they make you wash your hands then they very nicely use hot steam towels to dry them which I really liked but then this is where it gets weird...they sit me down in a rolling chair, at a nail station in the center of the room, not even off to the side or in anyplace less distracting. It has the plexi glass with nowhere to put my head down or anything and then to top it off then the lady at the door comes over and hands me a mask to wear during the massage. I'm thinking this is just silly at this point and excused myself. read more

I had my nails done for prom last week and I was very pleased with how they turned out. Isabelle did my nails and she was very sweet and helpful! She helped me choose the right colors to match my dress and helped me pick my accent color. She dipped my hands in wax and gave a few quick massages during my visit which were a really cool bonus! I don't get my nails done often but when I do they usually chip within a day or two...it's been 5 days and they still look like I just had them done. The only thing that I wasn't a huge fan of is that you can see the base coat layer under my color layer because it wasn't applied to the entire nail. It was my first time here when I came to visit my best friend who moved to Brookfield. They don't do acrylics which is weird to me as I'm from NYC and that's a thing at every salon there, regardless they still painted my nails wonderfully and even when I messed them up during the drying process they fixed them about 3 times which was great (I know I'm a mess). I found the most beautiful color there and I'm still kicking myself that I didn't take down the name of it. They were a bit confused when the manager/owner said I wanted a color change and a pedicure and started just changing the color on my toes. I had to correct the girl and let her know I wanted a regular pedicure and just a color change on my fingernails. Almost kicked the nail tech when she was doing my toes as I'm super ticklish and she just laughed along with me. They were super kind and my fingers and toes looked amazing. Another friend of mine got a pedicure and she absolutely loved it as well. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Brookfield. read more

Today was my lucky day when I randomly stopped in Sandy Two Nails & Spa without an appointment. It was my very first visit. First thing I noticed when I walked in was how CLEAN and organized the salon was! No dust. No fumes. Smiles! Air purifier. Green live plants. Soft music. I am now in heaven!!!! Immediately I was met with a sweet, friendly and kind greeting from Sue. Sue helped me with deciding on the type of manicure I wanted and colors, then quickly assigned me to Norma. Who was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL and so so sweet! Norma did a beautiful job! My nails look perfect! I have been getting my nails done for 30 years and I was blown away by the cleanliness, attention to the details of the salon and the amazingly friendly and authentically kind and peaceful service. I would have gave a 1 star, but I felt bad because the women who did my nails was sweet. Very nice people, but horrendously butchered my nails. If my nails had legs they would have ran far, far away. When I walked in I had long beautiful nails, when I left I had stubs. Not to mention the woman filed them so much that she left my nails paper thin. Thanks, but no thanks. I've been going to this salon for about a year now and have become a regular customer! The cleanliness here is remarkable and very important. Chris does a terrific SNS gel manicure and my nails have become stronger and healther - they ALWAYS look great now! Their pedicures are so relaxing and the girls are very meticulous about the technique and making customers feel special. If I could rate this nail salon lower I would. When I arrived I spoke with the woman in the first chair and told her I would like a pedicure, she told me that they was wasn't enough time for me to get it done since all of her staff was busy and that I should have made an appointment. When I looked around the salon there was only one person doing a pedicure and all the other staff members were sitting around not doing anything. It seems to me that she wasn't willing to provide me with any service. read more

I'm very picky when it comes to nail salons. I judge them based on cleanliness and quality of work. This place is pristine - they use individual tool packets for each client, and they wipe down the pedicure seats when you are done. My manicure and pedicure came out perfectly. Since I was the only one there, she gave me an extra 10 minute foot and leg massage without charging me. This is now my go-to nail salon. read more

I've been to several nail salons in the Danbury/Brookfield/Newtown area and this one is by far the best! We went here after a Danbury salon couldn't accommodate my daughter and I. I'm so glad they couldn't. Both my manicure and pedicure lasted for over 3 weeks. I actually ended up taking it off because I got a little tired of it lol. The staff was wonderful as well. I will be calling tomorrow for my next appointment and hopefully signing up for their rewards card. read more

Excellent pedicure. Very kind and skilled work. Had a green tea spa pedicure. Very relaxing and nice products. The lotion application was a little heavy but the hot stone massage was a nice touch. Based on the most recent review, I decided to give this place a try and was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was professional and friendly. I didn't have an appointment. But that was no issue. After a five minute wait I was taken to the pedi chair. I had a mani/pedi. The massage was wonderful and they dip your hands in paraffin before your manicure. What I liked best was how clean the place is. They open a freshly sanitized bag of tools for each customer. They also play mellow classical music in the background which is a nice change of pace. My overall experience was positive and I plan on returning. read more

Horrible experience here. My nail beds were damaged severely. They drilled my nail beds with the nails driller and made me bleed-- DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE!! Then the worker got up to work on another customer and made me wait 20 minutes. Never coming back again. read more

Love this place! For a mani and pedi it costs 35 dollars and they do a great job! They use hot stones on a reg pedi and give awesome massages during the pedi and mani. They all are very friendly. I feel like they have better color choices than most nail salons. read more

This was my first time at Sandy 2 Nails but everyone there today seemed to know everyone well and the woman behind the front desk was so nice and accommodating, she knew everyone by name. The regular pedicure come with wax on the heels and hot stones which was great! I watched regular manicure customers start with hand wax which looked great! The women were also really lovely about giving massages as I waited for my gel manicure. Nothing felt rushed, I truly felt the pedicure was a great experience for the cost. For the gel manicure I asked for a nude tone but decided I'd like something with a sparkle so they worked with me to use two colors to make something I was truly happy with. The ladies worked together to meet my request and it was appreciated! I'll be in a wedding a week from today so I'm hoping the manicure lasts, but overall I was pleased with the experience and I will be going again! read more

I went to this nail salon, got a gel manicure. Three weeks later, I had that removed and got a regular French manicure and I ended up with a fingernail fungus. I'm very upset by this. I usually polish my nails myself and went this time because my son was getting married. I'm very unhappy and now have to try to get rid of this nail fungus. Be careful! read more

They refused to provide the service (a simple pedicure without polish) that I requested while I watched them provide that service for three other people right after I asked. Not sure why. Prejudiced for some reason. Very, very rude and unprofessional. Don't waste your money. There are enough other places to go where you will be treated well. Definitely NOT coming back here.
