I'd love to give them a 5 star review but I'm so disappointed. Making an appointment is almost meaningless. For my last 3 appointments I waited for 45 minutes. they are busy which is great but why schedule more appointments than you can accommodate. today I waited 40 minutes to be seated in a pedicure chair, 10 minutes latet 2 techs sat down to start the pedicures of the two women in the chairs next to me that had been sitting for who knows how long. I have had great manicures and pedicures there but with so many salons in the area, a 45-60 minutes wait when you have an appointment is just insane. read more

Waiting 30-60 minutes when you have called ahead to make an appointment is completely unacceptable.

I've tried several nail salons in Danbury and I have to say most give horrible service. I'd almost given up until I came to New Brookfield. My first time John promised to give me a good experience and he didn't disappoint! I've been a repeat customer for over 3 months now & couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this salon. Thank you John! read more

I arrived early and was seated late and then I was left "soaking" a few more minutes. The pedicure itself was not great and no relaxing massage at end. Felt rushed. People rave but I just don't get a relaxing vibe. read more

I have to say this place is great!!! John it's so nice , answering the phone or greeting you ones you walk in. I have gotten my nails in the past with him and he is fantastic!!! And at this point I'm using Christina as my nail artist, she is fantastic as well , she is very careful with her work, love her precision while shaping and painting, super friendly. All my nails chipped after 5 days with gel polish and when I went back to get them fixed they charged me full price! I am so upset and cannot even believe how rude the owner was when I said they should have redone for free as they usually last twi weeks with gel color. They said not always usually 5 days! read more

Highly recommend this salon. You are nicely greeted upon entering. The salon is clean and bright. Had gone for a pedicure for myself and husband. Well treated and both were very happy with the pedicure . Definitely will be going back ! read more

VERY FRIENDLY!! Did a great job, even accompanied me on Thanksgiving night and stayed late. Definitely will return, THANK YOU!!

I had gel fills done and as this was my first time for fills and at a different shop then where I had the original gel nails done I was shocked that one of my nails chipped at the end. They did fix the nail but I would never go back. read more

I haven't been here for a few years and decided to get a fill in, gel manicure and gel color pedicure. The person that was doing my manicure was so busy conversating with a co worker who came over to chat, as I was watching the television I noticed a burning sensation on my knuckle. I pulled away quickly to notice she drilled the skin right off my finger! The manager just ignored what happened when she could have taken this opportunity to make this right with me. I wish I looked at the reviews before coming here! If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Got a quality gel mani and lavender pedi here yesterday. Inside, it is clean and tranquil with complimentary candy and water and a tropical fish tank. I always judge nail salons by how well they can do acrylics though, so these four stars are tentative until I can test their skills in that area. read more

The salon is very clean and the workers are very professional. I would recommend this business to anyone.

I was extremely happy with my nails . I highly recommend this nail salon . Cristina my nail technician did an amazing job .

Was on my list to check out since I am new to Danbury and was one of my worst experiences and I've been to many all over New York and New Jersey. I've been getting acrylics done for a while so I'm not new to them. The man that did my nails was anything but gentle. I needed a full set and after putting the acrylic on, it was noticeable he had not covered the entire nail with acrylic. When I told him he laughed and then proceeded to file everywhere there was not acrylic down to my natural nail. The edges of my natural nails were visible so he filed them till they were gone causing one nail to bleed and like four others to almost bleed. They looked nice at the end but never have I been in so much pain and had my natural nails be so hurt. It's only been a week and it looks like it's been three with how badly he placed the acrylic. Never going again. read more

Awful. Don't Waste your time. Pedicure is more than subpar. Lasts 22 min. Corners of toes aren't painted. Water was ice cold. Had goosebumps. Woman told me it's better cold. Just awful. Manicure was worse than pedicure. Cold water again. At least she made it warmer. Nails not covered with nail polish. Then charged $3 extra for my own gel polish. No massage and three little drops of lotion. Beyond disappointed. What's the point in having an appointment???? Never take you on time. Ever. We won't be back. Worst experience ever. Staff is only friendly to customers paying for expensive gel appointments. They ignore all other customers. Very rude. read more

I've been coming here for a while because it is close to my house; however they just lost me as a customer. One, one of my toes was messed up and lady told me she fixed it. It was still not perfect, which is what you expect when you pay for the special pedicure. What really got me upset was when I tried to use a 10 gift certificate to put toward my purchase they wouldn't let me use it because it expired. It expired 3 days ago. It really left a bad taste in my mouth that they did not honor it for me especially because I'm a good customer. Little did they know, I was going to buy a waxing gift certificate for my husband as well, but I will take my business to another salon. read more

Went in to get my nails done with my sister for her wedding, the man that was working with me was more concerned with texting on his cellphone then my actual pedicure. My manicure took 10 minutes, he didn't even soak my nails or push back the cuticles, color uneven on all nails. Terrible attitude and customer service, safe to say I will never be going back. read more

I definitely won't be back. Fastest mani/pedi I ever got, and that's not a good thing. Place was empty and no massage afterwards. Manicurist felt it better to go back to her table and play on her phone instead! Foot massage during pedi lasted 30 seconds and was weak/lazy. Nail tech didn't utter a word and could care less that I was sitting there. Totally disappointed. I literally went home and filed my own calluses, and it's not like they're excessive! They just didn't give a crap! Oh, and when I looked down at my toes, I realized my nail polish is basically translucent. I guess I'll be redoing that, as well. Completely aggravated. I just threw away $30. Not good business practices, if you ask me. read more

I came here for the first time the other day. I was surprised as to how much they rushed on my nails. My nails are crooked and the paint looks horrible. The worst part about the experience is that I have an open wound because the woman doing my nails used the tool on my skin without realizing it. Way better places around here. read more

Went yesterday for my first visit with my grandmother. My aunt and cousin go all the time and rave about the place so I am guessing maybe the technician who did my nails was just having an off day. She was very rough and did not utter a single word to me the entire time. My grandmother's technician seemed friendlier and complimented her color choice, but other than that no conversation or smiles or anything. My other guess is from seeing previous reviews that we got there a little late for their liking... but 6:00 didn't seem unreasonable to me seeing as they closed at 7... and several people came in later than we did. I guess I should also make it known that my acrylic fill came with lots of extra acrylic fill free of charge under my nails and on my fingertips... which did not sit well with me. Another interesting tidbit is that my grandmother paid cash and paid a flat fee... I paid with my debit card and was charged tax, which was interesting as it did not total what the CT tax rate is. My total was 30.00 and I was charged 1.31 in tax... strange. I like how my nails came out for the most part now that I've taken care of the extra acrylic everywhere... so I am willing to give them another try and hopefully I get a friendlier person next time and I will definitely pay in cash. read more

If you are looking for a 20 minute pedicure and manicure then this is the place for you! Bad attitudes.

Best nail salon for the price! I've gone many places and always go back to here! They usually have a wait so it's worth calling first and making appointment and they'll get you in. Never been disappointed with a pedicure read more

It was a really special experience there. I walked in after I visited my friend there. I didn't expect it would be amazed me, but actually it was!! They provided me a very nice service and impressive experience. read more

I usually come here for a mani and a pedi all the time and they always do such a great job. Ivy did an amazing job on my nails but the girl that did my toes.. i wish i could say the same. She scraped herself on the callus remover while using it on my foot, which caused her to start bleeding. She wiped her blood on the white towel one of my feet were on. I then told her she could stop and go get a bandaid and she said no, so i told her again. She still said no. Her finger didn't stop bleeding so she rinsed it in the bowl of water my feet were in. THEN she got up to get a bandaid. I should have gotten up and left when she wiped her bloody hand on the towel the first time. Not worth $70 and i will not be going back for a pedicure again. read more

I have been getting acrylic tips every two weeks for the past five years and my normal place had a long wait and I was desperate so I drove 25 minutes here just for that one time and ever since them I haven't stopped coming. This place is immaculate and and I feel like workers there are genuinely excited to be there they are all so polite and so sweet! Every worker works so hard on each and every nail and it always comes out looking awesome. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!!! awesome. read more

I have been coming to this salon since January for my UV gel manicures and gel pedicures. I love this place because everyone is extremely friendly and they consistently do a great job on my nails. I used to be a regular because of the rewards points, but I stopped going. They push services on you and back handedly insult you when you don't upgrade (your feet are rough, you need extra callous remover for just $5 more etc) and service varies from person to person. I had several indiciduaps cut my cuticle so short they bled (they then put acetone on it to stop until I yelled). I don't get a pedicure often and I certainly don't want to leave bleeding or insulted! read more
