The person that was doing my manicure was so busy conversating with a co worker who came over to chat, as I was watching the television I noticed a burning sensation on my knuckle. I pulled away quickly to notice she drilled the skin right off my finger! The manager just ignored what happened when she could have taken this opportunity to make this right with me. Was on my list to check out since I am new to Danbury and was one of my worst experiences and I've been to many all over New York and New Jersey. I've been getting acrylics done for a while so I'm not new to them. The man that did my nails was anything but gentle. I needed a full set and after putting the acrylic on, it was noticeable he had not covered the entire nail with acrylic. When I told him he laughed and then proceeded to file everywhere there was not acrylic down to my natural nail. The edges of my natural nails were visible so he filed them till they were gone causing one nail to bleed and like four others to almost bleed. They looked nice at the end but never have I been in so much pain and had my natural nails be so hurt. It's only been a week and it looks like it's been three with how badly he placed the acrylic. Awful. Don't Waste your time. Pedicure is more than subpar. Lasts 22 min. Corners of toes aren't painted. Water was ice cold. Had goosebumps. Woman told me it's better cold. Just awful. Manicure was worse than pedicure. Cold water again. At least she made it warmer. Nails not covered with nail polish. Then charged $3 extra for my own gel polish. No massage and three little drops of lotion. Beyond disappointed. What's the point in having an appointment???? Never take you on time. Ever. We won't be back. Worst experience ever. Went in to get my nails done with my sister for her wedding, the man that was working with me was more concerned with texting on his cellphone then my actual pedicure. My manicure took 10 minutes, he didn't even soak my nails or push back the cuticles, color uneven on all nails. I've been coming here for a while because it is close to my house; however they just lost me as a customer. One, one of my toes was messed up and lady told me she fixed it. It was still not perfect, which is what you expect when you pay for the special pedicure. What really got me upset was when I tried to use a 10 gift certificate to put toward my purchase they wouldn't let me use it because it expired. It expired 3 days ago. It really left a bad taste in my mouth that they did not honor it for me especially because I'm a good customer. I definitely won't be back. Fastest mani/pedi I ever got, and that's not a good thing. Place was empty and no massage afterwards. Manicurist felt it better to go back to her table and play on her phone instead! Foot massage during pedi lasted 30 seconds and was weak/lazy. Nail tech didn't utter a word and could care less that I was sitting there. Totally disappointed. I literally went home and filed my own calluses, and it's not like they're excessive! They just didn't give a crap! Oh, and when I looked down at my toes, I realized my nail polish is basically translucent. I guess I'll be redoing that, as well. Completely aggravated. Went yesterday for my first visit with my grandmother. My aunt and cousin go all the time and rave about the place so I am guessing maybe the technician who did my nails was just having an off day. She was very rough and did not utter a single word to me the entire time. My grandmother's technician seemed friendlier and complimented her color choice, but other than that no conversation or smiles or anything. My other guess is from seeing previous reviews that we got there a little late for their liking... but 6:00 didn't seem unreasonable to me seeing as they closed at 7... and several people came in later than we did. I guess I should also make it known that my acrylic fill came with lots of extra acrylic fill free of charge under my nails and on my fingertips... which did not sit well with me. Another interesting tidbit is that my grandmother paid cash and paid a flat fee... I paid with my debit card and was charged tax, which was interesting as it did not total what the CT tax rate is. My total was 30.00 and I was charged 1.31 in tax... strange. I like how my nails came out for the most part now that I've taken care of the extra acrylic everywhere... so I am willing to give them another try and hopefully I get a friendlier person next time and I will definitely pay in cash. read more

I usually come here for a mani and a pedi all the time and they always do such a great job. Ivy did an amazing job on my nails but the girl that did my toes.. i wish i could say the same. She scraped herself on the callus remover while using it on my foot, which caused her to start bleeding. She wiped her blood on the white towel one of my feet were on. I then told her she could stop and go get a bandaid and she said no, so i told her again. She still said no. Her finger didn't stop bleeding so she rinsed it in the bowl of water my feet were in. THEN she got up to get a bandaid. I should have gotten up and left when she wiped her bloody hand on the towel the first time. Not worth $70 and i will not be going back for a pedicure again. read more

I have been getting acrylic tips every two weeks for the past five years and my normal place had a long wait and I was desperate so I drove 25 minutes here just for that one time and ever since them I haven't stopped coming. This place is immaculate and and I feel like workers there are genuinely excited to be there they are all so polite and so sweet! I have been going to this salon for the past 5 months now. I get a UV gel fill. The price is always good but the service is never consistent and not of good quality. When I went yesterday it was "the straw that broke the camels back," I will not be going back. Jenny did my nails. She burned my skin several times with the sanding tool. One of those times went in deep and I bled for 15 minutes. When the service was completed and I looked at my nails they were thick, not shaped well, and the polish didn't completely cover all surfaces of my nails. To make matters worse while I was getting my nails done, CiCi, the employee sitting in the chair next to me spent the hour and a half that I was there either on her phone or literally sleeping on her table. The lack of respect CiCi was showing for her job, and the clients around her was a complete embarrassment and shame! If I could give this establishment zero stars I would! read more

I used to be a regular because of the rewards points, but I stopped going. They push services on you and back handedly insult you when you don't upgrade (your feet are rough, you need extra callous remover for just $5 more etc) and service varies from person to person. I had several indiciduaps cut my cuticle so short they bled (they then put acetone on it to stop until I yelled). I don't get a pedicure often and I certainly don't want to leave bleeding or insulted! read more

Horrible. Pedicure lasted about 10-15 minutes and polish started rubbing off before I even left the salon, despite them saying my toes were dry and I could leave. Woman who did pedicure was beyond rude and seemed very annoyed to work there. Man who did my 11 yo daughter's pedicure smelled terrible and was equally as bad as the woman who did mine. Definitely didn't seem as sanitary as it should be. Their reward system stinks and you can hardly use it on any service - and they prefer you don't even bring it up. I used to come here regularly for just gel manicures and they did okay (I usually got the man who sits by the register so assume he's the owner or one of their top staff members), but with the awful pedicure experience, overall service going so downhill, and so many other much better salons nearby I won't be coming back. read more
