If I could a negative rating I would. Went into the store on 9.4 25 around noon. Heard someone yelling and cursing at a dog. Went in the back and it was the groomer of the 2 small dogs, 1she had on the table. I poked my head in the room and told her yelling sctraming at the dog isnt going to calm it down. The dog on the big bed was so upset by his buddy getting yelled at he was upset. The groomer told.me to leave amd slammed the door in my face. I asked the clerk at the check out if she heard what was going on and she said she didnt and didnt seem to care and never asked for any info. I went back waited for over 45 minutes and told the owners what happened and they were grateful. They said the tan dog is so sweet and loves everyone but doesnt like its toes touched and the groomer did tell them what i said to her.but didnt mention the yelling and cursing.​ I will try to contact the owners of the pet store as maybe this is a contractor working in their store. Anyway, it was so upsetting to me and the dogs I just had.to say something. Because if you see something and don't say something, you're just as guilty as the perpetrator. read more

Our dog leads us here on walks. They have a lovely selection of chuck it and Kong toys(along with others), treats, chewies, and other supplies. The lady behind the counter is very friendly and helpful. We didn't use the self service dog was but it looked very nice. What a wonderful resource to have nearby. read more

We were desperate. My dog jumped out of the kayak, wandered around in the reeds... and the kayak place's "rinse" was just a puddle of mud with a hose. Sandy Paws was PERFECT! We showed up and my dog got a full bath! Complete with shampoo and even a fur-dryer, the very helpful owner got us set up and then gave us the room until my dog was sand-free. Best of all, the pup got to choose a treat on his way out! We should have bought more, too, because the treats we bought were much appreciated. Thanks, Sandy Paws! read more

I just had my dog groomed by Erin yesterday. She was wonderful--highly recommend!!! Sandy Paws is also a great little store. Always helpful.

My partner and I were in town for a wedding and brought our small pup with us. We needed to get a few items to keep her company in the hotel while we were at the wedding. We looked this up online and made a quick stop. We walked into a open and bright layout of a store. Were greeted immediately by the employee sitting at the counter. We browsed everything and left with just a few vital items; pee pads, bones and treats. Everything was a fairly good price, much better then your corporate Petsmart or Petco. I recommend this store when in the area! read more

Great little shop with varied selection for dogs and cats. The gal at the counter (owner or manager ?) was very helpful and friendly. There was also a sweet black cat lounging on the back shelf. Prices were in line as the larger pet store at the OC outlets. Good parking and conveniently located next to Dollar Tree. read more

Just had the most off-putting experience. Saw they had a self-service dog wash while in the store, and since we visit year round, we thought we'd check it out for our dog. There was no sign saying "do not enter" or "grooming in progress", and based on experiences with other self-serve dog washes, we opened the door to check it out, but the groomer said, "you scared me" and with nothing else said, grabbed the door and abruptly closed it. We told another employee who simply stated "she's grooming today." So weird, so awkward, so off-putting, and uncomfortable I'd never go back. Strange customer experience for sure. read more

I have a LARGE breed dog so finding all my pet care needs in one place at a reasonable price is so hard. Let alone a place with good customer service. When I stumbled across Sandy Paws it was HEAVEN SENT. The Employees are Wonderful, Helpful and extremely knowledgeable! My Big baby had been breaking out with "Hot Spots", the Lady suggested a shampoo that worked wonders. I will NEVER go anywhere else! Highly recommend! read more
