If you don't care about your pets welfare, health or life go ahead and use this kennel. Upon arrival back at the kennel they informed me he had HAPPY TAIL. His tail was bleeding, the end was raw and they had provided no care nor notified us. They simply left him to suffer, not even antibiotic cream and not even a bandage. Had they even called me I would have given them permission to treat if they were worried. This kennel, (check other reviews) including death of an animal, broken leg etc, cost my dog 5 inches of tail that had to be amputated due to their negligence. When asked their answer was "It happens" you signed a liability waiver. I have an 11 year old Sheppard, former working dog who has been kenneled in other locations prior to us moving here for up to three weeks at a time and this has never happened. Its physics, they placed the dog in a kennel to small for him, and most likely did not get him outside enough, resulting in him banging his tail just over a 7 day period. I WOULD NOT RECOMMED THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON. THEY ARE STAFF DOES NOT CARE ONE BIT ABOUT MAKING SURE YOUR FAMILY MEMBER IS TAKEN CARE OF. Very bad experience with a cancellation. THEY DO NOT REFUND! I booked and canceled (dog wasn't fully vaccinated) all within 1 hour with a phone conversation about this cancellation. Credit card was still charge. No refund or voucher was given because "I was not a previous customer ". I have phone records of the conversation but they would not accommodate the Wednesday cancellation for Saturday's boarding. read more

I have taken my cat to Weeping Willow a few times because it is the only place with an availability that works for me. The first time I brought her, the groomer did a nice job. It went downhill from there - each time getting worse. I mentioned this to the receptionist, and I asked that my cat's head fur be left a little longer, but the message (apparently) was not relayed correctly and the groomer left her body fur longer and still cut the head fur incorrectly. Also, each time I have gone to the groomer, the price goes up without warning. I don't recommend the grooming service. Additionally, they need to fix their phone lines because every time I call (even the answering service), it is difficult to hear from the buzzing and the feedback on the phone. read more

They took great care of my puppy. Just be very weary of their restrictions. When filling out the form it will automatically click over that you're picking the animal up in the p.m. and if you are picking the animal up in the a.m. it will still charge you an extra $44 when you ask about it, they let you know that you had it put on the form when it defaulted to it, make sure you check your dates that you have the animal set up for and if you have to take a picture of it for your own reference because I swore to God that I had her down for a specific pick up date and when they sent me a copy of my form, it said two days later. The day I dropped off my puppy they told me you're picking your dog up on Thursday and I said no I'm picking her up on Tuesday. I didn't even look because this was an emergency situation that I had to leave the state to take care of a family emergency, there is no refunds so I ended up spending an extra $122. I'm not saying that they don't take care of the dogs what I am saying is just be careful when filling out the forms that everything is correct that you check that your pick up is an a.m. when you're coming in the a.m. and not defaulting to the p.m. because they will add extra charges on for that. read more

Slugger has been coming to this kennel since he's come to me 7 years ago. I always feel safe leaving him there because the staff always knows him, greets him, and he is happy to see them. They give free group play times at least 4-5 times daily and he gets his social time while I'm somewhere away with no worries. Pick up time indeed is strict but I don't mind it because it's still 8 hours window! This time I had a small question about his towel being soiled, no biggie, and the owner Mr Jerry addressed it in just a few hours, in a very detailed manner, that was obvious he just KNEW my dog how he had peed in the run area of the kennel most likely from drinking so much water from the extensive play and he had pushed it into a pile (all of which is Sooo my boy) so he had removed it during their daily cleaning and sanitizing. I can vouch for them to say despite them being busy, your fur babies will receive a personal care with the utmost attention that they, and you deserve!! read more

my dog has been going there since about christmas 2020. she goes to the doggy day care and is kenneled during our trips. she loves it and is always excited to be there. No issues except she seems to be exhausted after a day at the day care and thats hard to do. great place and great staff. read more

They got me in on short notice with no problems. I have a Pitt Bull and have had trouble finding places that will board her over a weekend because of her breed and they had no problems getting her in. I dropped her off on a Saturday morning and picked her up in the evening on a sunday and the charge was minimal for them feeding, boarding and giving her free run 1-2 times a day. She was WORN OUT when I picked her up and can honestly say that that rarely happens with my pitt bull puppy. Great job and very very nice people. Will be bringing my dog back again. read more

We had been boarding our dog here for about a year and until last weekend, we hadn't had any big issues. They have very strict pick-up and drop off policies that has ZERO flexibility. We boarded our dog on Friday (who had been on a steroid and amoxicillin for a week due to an infection - on a side note, they charge $2 each time they have to give medication) and planned to pick her up between their hours of 4-7pm on Sunday. We left to head home in PLENTY of time to pick her up within this window, but due to an hour of unexpected traffic due to a LARGE accident on the highway, we were running about 23 (EXACTLY - according to our Waze app) minutes late. As soon as we encountered the traffic (about 3:30pm - but no one answered until 4pm), I called the kennel to give them a heads up to see if we could pick her up ABOUT 30 minutes late. The woman I spoke to was EXTREMELY rude and unkind. She told me to call back later to see what our options were. So when I called back, LUCKILY, I got someone else on the phone, but she REFUSED to help me and said I had to speak with the previous woman. So I called back again... after explaining that since our dog is on medication that she had to have that evening (we only gave them enough for that morning/afternoon) they would allow us to pick her up, BUT if we were even a MINUTE later that 7:30pm, they were going to leave and we would have to pick her up the next day - we work 8am-5pm during the day, so this was extremely inconvenient. To make matters worse, they REQUIRED a $50 CASH payment (so they don't have to pay taxes on it) to stay late - ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THIS IS A SHAKE DOWN. A night at this kennel is $27 dollars...and you're making us pay $50 to essentially keep your door unlocked for an extra 30 minutes?? That equates to getting paid $100/hour! My husband RACED to that kennel (after making our way through the traffic around Hampton/Norfolk, VA Beach), and we pulled in their drive way at 7:23pm - we were SO relieved. Needless to say, we have found a different kennel option for our dog (cheaper, closer, more flexible/understanding, AND NICER). Beware of this kennel, they are out to nickel and dime you (and hold your dog hostage). read more

I recently needed to Board my "children" (as they call them) for a short stay and with a future long term staying coming up. I felt this would be a good test to see how they fared in the new setting. They did awesome, they were excited and happy to be home but showed no signs of distress of being away for two full days. The groomer did a great job on our two dogs who hadn't been groomed in a long while. I love their setup and the kennels are clean and DO NOT smell like dogs at all. I highly recommend this kennel if you are looking for a place to Board your dogs. read more
