I went to Sandy for the first time with my sister and niece. My sister has been a long time customer and has spoken very highly of this spa. Let me tell you, Sandy Nails Spa exceeded that expectation. The place was very clean and the technicians were attentive. They have a wide range of colors to choose from and they use high quality gels. I ended up getting a gel manicure (with chrome layer) and reg pedicure. So happy with how it turned out!! I would highly recommend this salon !!traveling from the north , I found myself in need of a much overdue manicure and pedicure after being on the road for over three weeks . The staff were very accommodating , friendly , professional and concerned at all times for my comfort. I needed a full acrylic set and not just a refill which took more time but this was no problem at all! Salon is very clean , up to date and comfortable .i had a wonderful pedicure with exfoliation and great massage. Could not be happier with the finished product ! Aside from being interrogated on exactly where we live, how much we paid for our house, where we are from, how much our HOA is, the person doing my pedicure hardly cut any cuticle, didn't clean around the nail bed, or file properly. Also he scrubbed the bottom of my foot for about 10 seconds. The bottom of my feet are still rough and my nails are crooked since they weren't filed straight. The only reason I'm not giving one star is because who I believe is the owner came back and spent time afterwards trying to fix the previous persons work. You can tell that they don't stay up to date with current techniques or do any sort of continuing education. We will not be returning. No clue how this place has 4 stars. Really bad work. read more

I don't appreciate all the hidden fees. They charged $10 for a cuticle cut and $5 to file my nails. Was expecting $45 for dipping powder and ended up at $60. She did an OK job, but won't be going back, I can't stand businesses that nickel and dime people like that. read more

If I could rate less than one star I most definitely would!! This salon is no where near clean. They reused dirty instruments, whipped out our pedicure bowl with a used dirty rag and didn't put a clean bag in it. Then when I went to cash out she grabbed my card with a wet dirty glove that she was in the middle of cleaning someone's feet with! Will never go back. read more

Deluxe Pedicure and it was worth it!! Dat gives the best pedicures that I have ever had. He takes his time, knows exactly what to do for problem feet. The Deluxe Pedicure ends with wax application. It leaves you with soft, smooth feet. read more

I think that this place was nice, and very polite. But the nail polish me and my mom got just chipped off in the first 2 days, also a bit hard to understand. Very relaxing but it seemed like they rushed and just wanted to just get it over with. It was reasonable prices, but not for the quality. I also had to wait an hour for someone to even start on my pedicure. It took hours to get them done, my mom was sitting next to me and she got a manicure too and that took an hour at minimum, it was a very long and boring wait for her nail polish to chip of the next day. It was close to our hotel - the Hilton resort in destin, fl. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for relaxation, a nice quick massage and pedicure, basically all the good things about a nail salon. So do NOT recommend. read more

I am so happy to have found Sandy Nails Spa! I have been going there for about a year now and Jenny, the owner is personable and very accommodating. This is a husband and wife owned spa and they go the extra mile every time. Normally, my mani and pedi is done at the same time in tandem, which I prefer because it cuts down the amount of time it takes for both services compared to other places. When I moved here someone recommended Sandy Nails. I thought it was too far away from where I was living in Miramar Beach, but I went anyway. That was 3 years ago and now I live in Destin, even further away, and am still going to Sandy Nails! They are the nicest people and exceed expectations on a good manicure and pedicure at reasonable pricing. One thing is you have to make an appointment because they are always busy and they don't rush through their customers just to take a walk in. I'm so excited because they are now expanding with their son and daughter in law and will be offering facials, waxing, and eyelash extensions. I started going to Sandy Nails about three years ago. I love that I can make an appointment and don't get rushed through if someone walks in. My manicures/pedicures are first class. Now that their son and daughter-in-law have joined them in the business, they are able to take walk-in customers in addition to appointments, and are open on Monday. I understand that they are offering a number of new services, such as facials and waxing. They are such nice people, and I highly recommend them. read more
