I would say the reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because they need to work on their vibe. They did my mani and pedi at the same time while I was sitting in the pedicure chair which means I had to hold my right arm across my body and hold it in the air. It was uncomfortable and felt like too much going on at once and I couldn't relax. Gel polish looks thick and bumpy. At one point during the mani/pedi, the woman doing my toes was joking around with the woman doing my nails and kept bumping her and laughing. Like, what???? I won't be returning. read more

I got a full set at Nail So Happy. They did a terrible job and all of my nails were lifting 3 days later. I came in to get them fixed and a pedicure. Not only did they do an amazing job on my pedicure,they gave me a new set of nails and did a spectacular job! They were friendly and asked if I was satisfied. Our family has a condo at the complex next door so I walked over to get a pedicure and also considered getting my gel nails redone (they weren't really due). There was a slight wait but once they got started there were no delays. I decided on the highest level of pedicure and also to get my nails done. They started the soak off process during the pedicure (very important time wise). The pedicure was well worth the money and did not disappoint. It includes a hydro massage which I would have paid for separately. Very clean and great service overall. Went to get a pedicure and dip for nails, they tried to upsale me on polish and when I said I don't want gel on my toes he began talking about me in his language about me. Talking about how bad my toes were to being pissed off about my getting what I wanted. The plain Jane pedicure sucked. But the young guy that did my dip was nice and did a great job!! Not pushy. Be careful here! I got a terrible nail infection after having my nails done here many times. Not sure what they did wrong but when I returned, they took off the nail put a new one in then held out there hands for more money feeling no responsibility to fix their work. I will absolutely not return as they really just want to get the tourists in and out on rainy days and have no worries about doing shotty work because they feel like you'll be leaving town soon. I went to this salon because I won a $20.00 gift certificate to it. One person did my toes and another did my hands. Nails on both were cut unevenly. Their website, as well as a large sign outside the front door, said the mani/pedi cost was $44.00. With my certificate, it should have been $24.00. However, the receptionist charged me the full $44.00 and said she gave me credit for the certificate. When I asked her if she was saying the actual cost was $64.00, she said yes. I e-mailed the salon when I got home, and haven't had any response (it's now been 3 days). I would never recommend this salon to anyone or go there again. read more

Afterward, I was ushered into a closet sized room for some type of computerized water therapy massage. The "bed" was still sporting the body outline of the lady that walked out right before me. Love my peeps a Lovely Nails! They provide great service. They're very friendly and good at what they do. They remember you every time you come in, which is nice. The salon is kept clean and they sterilize their utensils. The best part is the relaxing experience. There are 3 flatscreen TV's that play newly released movies while you sit back in the massaging chair and have your feet pampered. Wonderful! On vacay in PCB, thought I'd start the day with a mani-pedi. Yelped this spot and see good reviews. Not too far, so here I go. Figured it would be a standard set of combo services. Well.... it's fairly small or just average size (not a nail shop factory. maybe 6 or 7 spa chairs, which is fine by me). The technicians start immediately (it's about 12 noon, so there's no crowd yet). Water-PERFECT! Small talk- pleasant. They offer a beverage to each client. I'm watching "Warrior" on flat screen; with closed captions so that it's not blaring for anyone who has no interest in seeing a movie while they are getting services. Standard mani with nice hand massage. Pedi was great! Technician was very attentive to details. Nice leg and foot massage. Then the hot towel wrap was like a icing on top. BUT HOLD THE PHONE! Here's where they take a pedicure up to the next level... the tech gets my purse and shoes (and I think I'm headed to the dryer station, uh uh!), she escorts me to the HydroMassage room. It is an AMENITY THAT ACCOMPANIES YOUR PEDICURE! I've only seen something similar at a chiropractor's office. Let's call it a water bed with pressure jets that run up and down your full body. I give it a 10. A monitor is on display that shows where the pressure is as it goes from your feet to your head and back. Ten minutes of sheer bliss. So I'll finish by saying PLEASE check out Lovely Nails while in PCB. I will be back every time I'm in town. The prices are reasonable and it is a professional, very clean salon/spa. I have lived in Panama City my entire life and I have tried a lot of nail salons, but I have been going to Lovely Nails since the very first day that they opened. It's worth the drive from my house, it's worth maybe paying a few extra bucks. All of the employees that work there are so friendly. This salon is extremely clean. I have never had to worry about nail clippings laying around or tools that look old and dirty. They always have the latest colors and they know the coolest trends for nails. read more

I had been going to Lovely Nails for years. I have never appreciated that they speak their native language while working as this is the utmost in "Rude", but over all they did a pretty good job. A few months ago I got a really bad shellac manicure and quietly complained. No one would look at me or respond in any way including the owner Linda. This coupled with a trip to a nail salon with my niece a few hours away that had a signed posted, "Only English Spoken Here", and such a wonderful experience there with a mani-pedi, I have decided to stop patronizing Lovely Nails here in PC Beach. No, no ,no, don't waste your money.I had a pedicure a week ago and all of a sudden my nails starting getting sticky on top. I went in to ask them about it and the first person told me I hadn't waited long enough for them to dry. Funny, they were fine the first 4 days......the owner then told me that my sunscreen had damaged them....;Really???? For years my pedicures have been fine with my Coppertone SPF 8. I'll start by saying our nails turned out beautifully. My family went to the shop to get mani/pedis. We had to wait a bit and started our mani/pedis staggered, therefore nobody really was sitting by each other the whole time. The two adults had their manicures after their pedicures in the pedicure chairs, the two teenagers were moved to the chairs. My 16 year old daughter took off her brand new class ring during her manicure and set it on the glass manicure table between where her nails were being done and the instruments to the side. Somehow she got up without putting it back on. She then spent about 15 minutes sitting in the store waiting for my manicure to finish. During this time, she did not realize her ring was missing, and the technician did not return it. We left to finish our "Girls Day" shopping. We were gone from the shop about 12 minutes when my daughter realized she did not have her ring. I immediately went back to get it, assuming the technician would have set it aside. After all, a class ring, although expensive is not worth much to anyone other than its wearer. When I arrived back at the shop it was gone. According to the owner, the technician (who did not speak English) went so far as to say she had never seen my daughter's ring. They suggested my daughter come back to look for it herself. She and my husband did. And it was not found. My daughter takes responsibility, she should not have forgotten to pick it up. However, I believe the technician should have ensured she took it with her, and certainly should not have claimed it was never there. I don't know if a customer stole it in the 30 min we sat there and left and came back or if an employee did. But you can be sure we will not be recommending this business nor returning. And I advice all customers to hold tight to their valuables! And ensure their children do the same! read more

Worst pedi ever! The whole time the woman were catty and talked poorly and snobby-like about everyone. It's a shame as these are paying customers coming for a service. Staff member had me sit with no water to soak in for 20 mins, walked up and turned scolding hot water on and walked away without saying a word. Staff member finally came when foot bath was nearly overflowing, drained a bit and squirt liquid in and walked away. Finally staff member came and scrubbed only 1/2 of the side of my foot and talked catty with the other women. Tonality and laughter is universal ladies, come on! Staff member then cut me, made me bleed, never filed/clipped my nails and then painted terribly. Not cleanly at all and didn't care to clean up the paint. I could do better, and I'm terrible at it. Also, put me under the dryer for over 20 mins and never came back to talk or check on me. I removed my own toe-spreader things and proceeded to pay where even there a staff member was rude! Took the tip (shouldn't have left one) and never said thank you. They weren't even busy. Inspected the job later and was so disappointed. I'd ask for a refund, but I'd rather spare myself the catty behavior. NEVER AGAIN! Terrible waste of $35.00! read more

This is the rudest salon ever. The owner doesn't care how you are treated and they sit and talk in their native language the entire time when everyone of them knows English. They do nothing specialized here so don't ask for it. They feel like you are bothering them. They need to consider all the nail salons in the area and realize they are not the only game in town. Every time you go in there, if you happened to have your nails done elsewhere (while on vacation, or in another town) they will constantly criticize someone else's work.
