Also, even after several hours, my nails were still not dry, which was disappointing as I expected a smoother finish. I think with more attention to technique and polish application, the experience could be much better, a quick dry would be enough for it.

I refused because I'm scared she will make it worse. If she could not get it done in 5 hours then I don't think she would be able to fix it. I tried this nail place for the first time recently. I was getting discouraged by the negative…read morereviews on Yelp so wasn't sure what to expect. But I needed a manicure fast. This place had no wait and was open late on a Saturday (until 7PM), so it worked out for me. I only had time for a manicure and no pedicure but so far my experience was good. I didn't have to wait at all. I had gel polish on my hands, which they removed quickly and then I got the regular manicure. See photo below. It turned out great and the only thing I didn't like was that while removing my cuticles, the nail tech ended up cutting me a little (like a small nick), so I was bleeding. This usually happens when they focus too much or work too fast on the cuticles. So I told her not to work on my cuticles too much. It was not a major cut or anything but still it hurts. I just wish that these nail places were more careful with that stuff. Other than that, the nails look really nice and I don't mind trying them next time for a pedicure and seeing how good their pedicures are! As for the price, it was $30 for the manicure. While this…read moreplace might not look the newest among the others, our nail techs took their time, and we liked our pedicures. Just tell them regular polish if you don't want gel. :) I would return to this nail shop again. If you don't want to wait for awhile, do make sure to schedule an appointment beforehand since they were busy when we walked in.
