We got there and I had my aunt sit as she uses a walker. The girl at the desk started talking to another woman in another language (I think Vietnamese) then she told me they didn't have an opening. I told her I just called and she said we filled the 3:00 appointment, so the next was at 4:00, I said that's fine we would wait. Then without saying anything to the other nail tech she said well she'll probably be busy till 4:30 and we close at 5:00, so she won't have time to see her. Of course the business card said they closed at 6:00pm. I didn't get her name, so I'm not sure if she was the owner or staff, but she was a thin girl with large square glasses. I feel like that was elder abuse to make her feel bad about them not wanting to serve her because of her age. We did go to another salon right afterwards and they were wonderful!! We were there for about 20 minutes before there were techs working with each of us. Not a big deal. Water in the tubs got cold (I could've said something, so no fault there really lol) and the massage chairs don't do much massaging. Kinda feels like it's just moving you a bit haha Not sure if there were options for the type of pedicures, they never asked. From the…read morebeginning, we felt rushed to choose our colors and nail shapes instead of being given enough time to decide. I was asked if I wanted an almond shape, and I said yes. After my nails had already been shaped, I was then told that almond shape would be an additional $5. I feel like I should have been told about the extra charge before the service was performed, so I could make an informed decision. My friend's pedicure was also a very unpleasant experience. The polish was applied very sloppily, and when my friend expressed that she wasn't happy with how her toenails looked, the technician became rude and visibly aggravated rather than trying to fix the issue professionally. While this was happening, another technician who was working on a different customer repeatedly looked over and stared at my friend, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Overall, we both left feeling judged and unwelcome. I can't speak for their intentions, but the way my friend was treated made us uncomfortable, and we couldn't help but feel that her being a person of color may have played a role in how she was treated. Customers should be able to ask questions, express concerns about a service they are paying for, and expect to be treated respectfully. Unfortunately, that was not our experience today. I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning

I had a pedicure with Wendy and it was the absolute best pedicure I've had in the decades I have been having them. My feet have never felt better. She had magical hands!
