10/5/25 @ approximately 2:25pm I had a very upsetting experience at this salon. I went in to get my nails done, and they refused to serve me, telling me to come back on Tuesday -- even though no one was waiting and several workers were available. Moments later, another woman, a lighter-skinned version of me, walked in asking for the same exact service, and they seated her right away. I felt completely disrespected, humiliated, and discriminated against because of my skin color. This type of treatment has no place anywhere, especially in America where businesses are expected to treat all customers equally. It's disgusting and deeply disappointing that a salon like this thinks it's acceptable to treat people this way. No one should ever be made to feel less than because of the color of their skin. If you don't want to do your job, then maybe you should find another profession. Women go to get their nails done to feel good about themselves -- not to be humiliated or made to feel unwelcome. read more

I went for a manicure (gel polish) and pedicure (regular polish). The pedicure was great, he spent a lot of time on the massage. My biggest complaint is that my gel manicure chipped after only four days. I get gel manicures a lot, and usually have to file them down or get them removed before they chip. I did go back in and had the one nail that chipped badly redone (they didn't charge me). It has since chipped again (and a few other nails as well) - I have come to the conclusion that the polish that they are using is possibly old? Great experience! I arrived on a Sunday afternoon as a walk in with thick 3 week old acrylics on. They accepted me for a new full set. They took careful time to remove my current acrylics, soaked them off and was careful to not ruin my nail beds. Albeit, it took almost an hour (unexpected) it may have been worth it! I asked for coffin shaped and beautiful length. She took such care and such detail into each nail. I wanted bubble bath color and interested in adding chrome color. I've never had chrome. This is a new nail spa I tried during week day. It wasn't busy when I arrived and they were able to accommodate right away for a pedicure. I always go for the best pedicure because my feet deserve it :). So I tried their volcano pedicure that comes with a hot stone massage, collagen masks, and other things. I took a photo for you, so you can see exactly what's included in this particular pedicure for $55. See photo below. That's their best one they have but it doesn't include paraffin wax. In fact, none of their pedicures do and looks like they didn't offer that service. I really like the paraffin wax because it transforms your feet and makes them really soft afterward. So it sucks that they don't have it available. As for the pedicure, they did a good job but their massage chairs weren't anything great. I liked that they are taking good COVID precautions and everyone was wearing masks. They also require you to wear masks at all times. Wow! I'm a pedicure snob. I hate going anywhere except my salon in Dallas. But, this was an exceptional experience! I made an appointment with Blanca based on a previous Yelp review. My toes are super sensitive. I'm always sitting there nervous that they're going to cut me or hurt me. She was super gentle! And, when I said not to cut my cuticles, she listened! I don't know - I like to get excited about the colors and styles of nails - I was rushed through my choices - anyway bang for your buck keep looking. In response to the owner/business associate: Small talk is never expected! However, when in customer service (which you are) usually a fair amount of small talk is "appreciated" not expected- the prices- again - didn't find that until payment - which is something that could have been discussed had there possibly been Some small talk- like I said- my nails looked pretty but dip didn't last and a nail broke shortly after - whatever that happens - been getting my nails done probably longer than you've been alive and lived all over - so I know prices are different everywhere. I came in last Saturday for a pedicure. I had the best massage with a pedicure I've had in probably years! Felt so good; not rushed; attention was definitely felt. While still in the chair, I got called into work for an emergency. The technician and owner were so kind and gracious saying I could come back anytime and finish my pedicure without extra charge. Well that day didn't end for me until after 2a the next morning and I couldn't get back. I called a few days later and they got me right in. My technician remembered me and I felt very welcome at a place I had only been to once and literally had to run out of! Lol The cost is only slightly more than I'm used to but def worth it. Would certainly recommend this place and will be back :) A word about post covid precautions from my observation: every station is separated between the worker and costumer by a clear plastic shield. Every other seat is not used. There is plenty of hand sanitizer on hand, and everyone wears a mask and gloves - in addition to regularly sanitizing every station between customers. read more
