Got the party platter. Five foot hero, bbq chicken and salads. Was enough for 25 men, tasted great,and looked nice. I order only breakfast from this place frequently because of the cheap price! But with such a cheap price something has to give. They take literally an hr to come 5 minutes up the street to deliver my food. And when I get my food the order is wrong! This has happened more than once and I felt the need to leave a review. If you plan on order from them, be mindful although you may be 5 - 8 minutes driving distance...your food will NOT be there for another hr and 30 minutes. This happens alot. And its my fault that I continue to give them business. But this is the last time I will place an order with this place! One star because you can't write a 0 star review. Placed an order at 9:21am. When my order arrived, it was correct, and there were holes in the styrofoam container suggesting that when the food made its way into the container it was very hot and very fresh. Unfortunately when the food arrived at my door at 10:57am (yes, over 1.5 hours later) the food was mysteriously cold and soggy. Like if food sitting out for an hour and a half gets cold or something. Weird, right?! Don't order from here unless you like to wait an hour and a half for sub-par food that has been sitting out for who knows how long. Gross. read more

Not a local but was looking for a place for a good sandwich. I stopped here because I made a mistaken turn and it was in the parking lot I was using to turn around. I got the "Woodcutter", pastrami and corned beef with melted Swiss, lettuce, tomato and onion on a toasted hoagie. The meat counter in front was a good indication that the meats were fresh and sliced in house. I got the sandwich and was initially impressed with the size of the hoagie but when I opened the sandwich there wasn't much meat for the price.($8.35) I was thinking about getting another sandwich for the road but I would rather find another spot. I love, love, love Sandwich Express. I usually order a chopped salad. Their salad bar has a lot of options and the salad itself is HUGE. I've never been disappointed. The flavor in the Cajun chicken is amazing and their Horseradish Dijon dressing is TO DIE FOR. Anytime I've called to order delivery the guys have always been courteous - even minutes before closing. This place is amazing!!! Best sandwich I ever had is the "Three Way" available on Tuesdays, it's locally sourced smoked brisket, locally sourced fresh bread with pickles and if you want it spicy, jalapeños. They also have on Fridays mile high Pastrami Sandwiches on rye with the meat directly from Sarge's deli. The staff is attentive, the owner, Brian Lew is the nicest man in the planet and will know your "regular" sandwich by the second time you come in. Best place in the biz! read more

this place is filthy - you do not know what goes behind the seen filthy preparation everything is expired and law quality and health codes are ignored. I got sick eating their hot food and planning to sue them ---- the owner cheats his customers he displays Boars head brans but what he gives you is another cheep brans by the way you can file an action as a class law suit - lawsuit against- the owner and his business and you are entitle to get a large sum of money as a result of feeding you food other than what you should be eating - you order a bran name that they advertising and you pay high price for it then they give you unknown food brans basically you end up not knowing what you are eating. ---------- when you get delivery ask the driver how much he is paid for an hour/ they don't pay as I was told by few delivery drivers they do not pay the minimum wages that is required by law and they make them work off the book !!!!! this is in 2018 and in the USA and in NY !!!!! -------- would you want to support such a business ? Ordered 2 sandwiches and a salad through grubhub. We were given an estimate of a little more than an hour for delivery (fine), however it took 2 and a half hours for food to be delivered, along with incorrect orders (salad delivered with dressing on it when asked for no dressing, tomatoes when asked for none). When I called the restaurant to ask what was taking so long with the order, they said things happen and the weather isn't helping (mind you this is after waiting 2 hours, with no updates), and didn't offer any kind of apology. If there was a way to give this place 0 stars I would. Absolute worst sandwich place I have ever been. Sandwich was cold when received, chicken cutlets were completely dry, and bacon was not even cooked. On top of the I find some small piece of white plastic in my sandwich. They screw up my order nearly every time I get delivery. I've never been there in person. I called them and told them and we want back and forth over the course of several orders. I started calling right after I placed the order, that didn't help. I gave them an extra chance and advised that I would post on yelp thereafter and my muffin came and it was burnt. I spoke with the woman right before I placed the order advising them about Yelp, how much I spend there weekly and they didn't even take the time to notice that they sent me a burnt muffin. One day I ordered the Reuben like I usually do and it came and was a fatty end piece that was over cooked and greasy. I couldn't believe it. It never looked like that before. I also couldn't believe that any deli would ever let that out of the building. I called and they told me they were so sorry and sent another one right away which they did, still pretty sub-standard. The guy said he would remember me and never get my order wrong again. That was a lie. Again, they forgot my sides. The list goes on and on. Oh...and I OVER-tip always. This was the thanks I got. Overpriced. 9$ for a hungryman on a stale hero. Not even like this place has an area to sit down and eat it. They are more concerned with their take-out/delivery then the customers in the deli. Most things they have are old because they dont want to throw it away. I have also had coffee and the milk was sour, the man at the register told me to leave it and dont worry about it. My absolute favorite deli in the area. My office gets delivery at least 2-3 times a week. Food is always fresh and Brian is always eager to please. He even remembers what my favorites are lol. He's even gone as far as bringing me ziplock bags of ice when I needed it for neck pain, then offered to bring more in the afternoon if I needed it !! That is amazing service !!! read more

My husband and I eat here pretty frequently. Their bacon egg and cheese sandwiches are very inconsistent - one week they taste great and the next we get stale bread and very little bacon. The only reason we still come back each week is for their macaroni salad which is absolutely amazing! Would only recommend if you're looking for a quick average breakfast. read more

I ordered a breakfast sandwich and lunch from this place. Asked for sauce on the side for lunch so I can eat it later. They didn't do that, so I had soggy lunch. The pickle smelled funny and wasn't crispy, was soggy and I had to throw it out. The breakfast sandwich was okay but nothing amazing. Doesn't come with cheese, apparently that's extra which is weird. Our office orders at least 20 times a week. Delivery varies, sometimes it seem like they deliver in a minute, other times it took forever. Brian is a gem and very apologetic. Food is mostly good even though some days they " missed the boat". Inexpensive and the extra orange juice is a plus. They probably need to hire more drivers. Employees here are great fans. read more
