I went to Super Stuffed Burgers for lunch the other day. I had not researched it before so I…read morethought it was pretty cool that they were also a trading card and figurine store with a mini arcade. If I had had more time I would've shopped around a bit. For lunch I ordered the quesadilla burger and made it a combo with fries and a soda. Thank you to the cashier for informing me about the combo deal! The quesadilla burger was delicious and I couldn't stop biting into it. The fries were also well made. My only issue was that it was freezing inside the restaurant. I don't know if they don't have heat or the heat was just broken that day, but I had to keep my winter jacket on the whole time I was there. I hope they were able to get it fixed!! Overall though, I definitely enjoyed the place and have to go back the next time I'm in the Springfield area.

We discovered this place because of the card trading shop that shares the space. My kids are big…read morefans of the cheese-stuffed burgers and get excited at the mere prospect of stopping by. There's an arcade game that patrons can play for free, which is such a nice touch, and the server has always been nice and accommodating. The super-stuffed burgers are good, though maybe a bit greasy for my liking. On my most recent visit, I had the chicken sandwich, which I joked resembled a giant chicken nugget. There wasn't anything special about it, but it was filling. Since the kids enjoy it, I'm sure we'll stop by again!

My old phone was taking blurry pics from far away so I wasn't able to capture it, but think very cozy, fireplace with candles glowing from within, and little alcoves in the wall for candle clusters. It was perfectly elevated while still being casual and approachable. When we came there was a Mac and cheese special with pulled bbq pork on top. I knew we had to get that because it is right up my husbands alley. It did not disappoint, my husband was tempted to order some to take home! The pasta was super creamy and cheesy, mixed with the roasted pulled smoky bbq pork on top, it was the ultimate comfort food for the cold rainy day we were having. For my meal I got the Grilled Cheese which is more of an elevated "grown up" grilled cheese. It had cheese, thin apple slices, fig jam and bacon. The flavors were great, I only wish there was a little more cheese or a little less jam to balance the sweet and savory a little more, because for me it was a touch too sweet. The sourdough it was made with was delicious and fresh, I also appreciate that they don't seem to soak their grilled cheese in oil like a lot of places do (butter or nothing, please!!) My husband ordered the burger which he really enjoyed but nothing was going to top the pulled pork Mac and cheese for him. They should consider adding it to the regular menu! He originally wanted the duck sandwich but it was unavailable on this day. All in all it was a cozy afternoon together. Our waitress was very friendly and made sure to check on us without ever being too overbearing.

It feels more like a gastropub than a bar or homey pub. It's a very welcoming spot, just a little more sophisticated than the local town pub. The bartender is amazing. From memory, there's a white sangria and limoncello-based drink that I really love, and a smoky spicy margarita or tequila type one too that I like too. The bang-bang shrimp are my favorite app and I can make a meal of them if I'm only mildly hungry (I use the lettuce as kind of a wrap). I really like the chicken diablo sandwich. The burgers are really good too if I'm feeling heartier. The mushroom and swiss with caramelized onions is my favorite bc if I'm gonna do a burger I wanna get my hands a little dirty (see photo before I demolish the presentation). Pickett's is always in my rotation whatever the occasion. It's also the type of place you could grab a bite or a drink at the bar alone, no problem. There's even a little corner of the bar that's kind of hidden from the entryway and dining room if you're feeling shy about lone wolfing it or you want a more private place to cry into your beer. Been there done that and no one will even bat an eye.
