I really really wanted to like this place. I ordered pickup from their Usual Suspects menu. The place is quite spacious, with plenty of seating inside--nice, efficient staff. I picked up the Roasted Turkey on ciabatta. As shown in the photo, the bread was not ciabatta bread. I paid for extra lettuce and pickles to find no to extremely little amount of lettuce and two pickle rounds. The sandwich was tasty - very good turkey - but was dry overall. I had to jazz it up at home and didn't really love the Italian bread. It was average and I may try it once more. Kudos for using environmentally friendly packaging.

Yes. The answer is yes. You're looking at reviews so you're considering checking out sandwich evolution. DO IT. Stop thinking about it and do it. Local in town and was bummed when Alen's closed but we got sooo lucky SE replaced it. GREAT SANDWICHES, high quality ingredients, good portions. I ordered the Philadelphia and the Buenos Aires, both came on ciabatta and are sooo flavorful. Fries, hand cut well seasoned multiple aioli options, DIDN'T TURN TO MUSH IN PACKAGING FOR A TO GO ORDER! Honestly, I really need my local spots to stay in business so do me a solid and give it a shot.

Came here today to try a new addition to the Springfield food scene. I had the turkey sandwich. Nice sandwich and the turkey was delicious. They have a regular menu and some very interesting specialty sandwiches that I'm looking forward to trying. Spacious space with plenty of seating.

If I had had more time I would've shopped around a bit. For lunch I ordered the quesadilla burger and made it a combo with fries and a soda. Thank you to the cashier for informing me about the combo deal! The quesadilla burger was delicious and I couldn't stop biting into it. The fries were also well made. My only issue was that it was freezing inside the restaurant. I don't know if they don't have heat or the heat was just broken that day, but I had to keep my winter jacket on the whole time I was there. I hope they were able to get it fixed!! Overall though, I definitely enjoyed the place and have to go back the next time I'm in the Springfield area.

There's an arcade game that patrons can play for free, which is such a nice touch, and the server has always been nice and accommodating. The super-stuffed burgers are good, though maybe a bit greasy for my liking. On my most recent visit, I had the chicken sandwich, which I joked resembled a giant chicken nugget. There wasn't anything special about it, but it was filling. Since the kids enjoy it, I'm sure we'll stop by again!

My nephew who lives nearby treated us to an al fresco meal recently while visiting for a family event. My pulled pork smashed burger was everything you want in a packed meat sandwich, with an onion ring and tangy sauce on the brioche bun. The sweet potato fries and a refreshing mocktail to drink made for a perfect meal. Sweetie ate a pasta bolognese (I think) which looked and ate good, and drowned it with a nice glass of red wine. It was packed on the Friday night we visited, with folks lined up for seating, or to hang at the bar and enjoy the bar scene. No reservations. Our late dinner worked fine as the mostly millennial and Gen-Z crowd started thinning shortly after we arrived. Millburn has always been a draw for neighboring townsfolk in search of a meal out. I remember this foodie town from 25 years ago, when its pizza, kosher and diner offerings were top notch. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.

My old phone was taking blurry pics from far away so I wasn't able to capture it, but think very cozy, fireplace with candles glowing from within, and little alcoves in the wall for candle clusters. It was perfectly elevated while still being casual and approachable. When we came there was a Mac and cheese special with pulled bbq pork on top. I knew we had to get that because it is right up my husbands alley. It did not disappoint, my husband was tempted to order some to take home! The pasta was super creamy and cheesy, mixed with the roasted pulled smoky bbq pork on top, it was the ultimate comfort food for the cold rainy day we were having. For my meal I got the Grilled Cheese which is more of an elevated "grown up" grilled cheese. It had cheese, thin apple slices, fig jam and bacon. The flavors were great, I only wish there was a little more cheese or a little less jam to balance the sweet and savory a little more, because for me it was a touch too sweet. The sourdough it was made with was delicious and fresh, I also appreciate that they don't seem to soak their grilled cheese in oil like a lot of places do (butter or nothing, please!!) My husband ordered the burger which he really enjoyed but nothing was going to top the pulled pork Mac and cheese for him. They should consider adding it to the regular menu! He originally wanted the duck sandwich but it was unavailable on this day. All in all it was a cozy afternoon together. Our waitress was very friendly and made sure to check on us without ever being too overbearing.

So yes, this review is slightly late but in my defense, my phone was broken and I had to get the photos. I like intimate settings, and I love when they're paired with amazing food. I have a thing for tuna so when I see it on the menu, I definitely have to order it. I got it medium originally. I enjoyed it, but I sent it back to be cooked well which was even better. That was so cool. It was an option. My waiter was Frank. He let me know. I could send it back to get cooked more. My Bestie ordered the mushroom raviolis. I'm not really a mushroom fan, but the ravioli was awesome. So if you want to try mushroom differently, I do recommend this dish. Noni's chicken was basically smothered chicken, mashed potatoes and spinach. I'm Jamaican so that was a good spin on what I'm used to which is my stew chicken. I'm surprised how crispy and tasty the chicken wings were. I honestly expected them to be messed up, but that's the best part about going to new restaurants you have to be open to surprises. Shawn, I'm not sure if he's the manager most likely is he came around and said hello just to make sure we were enjoying our time. We definitely want to make this spot more of a regular spot for us. We truly enjoyed it. Everything came up to like $200. It's also a train station so in the back it's the restaurant but you can see that during the day it's a functioning train station. I thought that was so cool. When we left the restaurant and got to our car, a train was riding by so it just gives a very good "movie feel". Especially if you're like me and you romanticize your life. Well done Box Car.
