VR experience was awesome. The family and friends came out 6 deep and we selected Deadwood Phobia, the best seller and I can see why! This was my second time here over a year ago and I did the previous Deadwood, which is filled with zombies and other strange creatures. The graphics are crisp and pretty realistic, to get you hopping around, panting, and sweating. Just like any video game you move from a new level to the next level, which comes with a change of scenery. We went from a creepy lab, a meatpacking conveyor belt, to boots on the ground fighting in a zombie war zone! So much fun with many more surprises and features I'll let you discover for yourself. I felt it was long enough towards the end, I start hoping the goblins would stop coming. Perfect amount of time. They give you a keepsake video which is edited with everyone's gamer names, a recap of the scores, highlights, and who your team's MVP is! Great for bragging and talking ish over dinner after the game is over. It is pricey about $65 per person, but it's not something you'll do every weekend. It truly is a unique experience, because this is the only chain in the DMV. The staff is polite and do a great job of explaining the rules and how to wear the equipment. Definitely arrive 15 minutes early, especially if you've never played the game before. I will definitely comeback for a 3rd experience, the more people for the spooky Deadwood Phobia, the better!

We made reservations for Sandbox for 11:20 this morning. We arrived early, as instructions said. They were supposed to open at 10 am, we've now been outside for more than 30 minutes. No one is answering the phone, there is no customer service number. After pre paying and waiting in the rain, I wouldn't recommend this place after being so excited.

We were gonna go for my birthday but when we realized that it was $57 each for only 30 minutes, we decided to go level 99 instead. As algorithm goes, I started getting SanboxVR clips on my social media and I made a simple comment that we would've loved to go but for "30 minutes for $200+ " The comment got blocked

Our family was looking for a fun activities we could do and Sandbox VR was a great choice! We arrived ready to play and chose Rebel Moon! It was 15 minutes of fighting bad guys and monsters! There were four of us signed up so we had two random guests join us. I loved how we were able to get three videos of us playing even with the "Netflix" opener and music. This was a great experience and we will definitely plan to go again!

We loved it ! We took out college aged children and had a great time playing together! Two suggestions: take off any jackets- it got hot- it was like a cardio workout! Because I am asthmatic, I should have taken some puffs on my inhaler first. Cons: pretty expensive for the 5 of us. They also restrooms, have water and snacks for sale

We didn't have any problems signing up online or picking a time slot. We parked nearby and we've done a sandbox vr in Vegas before so we knew the ins and outs mostly. There was only one attendant and a lot of people so it took a little bit to get everyone situated. The only issue I really ran into is during the experience, I disconnected 3 to 4 times and my husband also got disconnected a couple times. Overall a fun experience though.

Adam was a great host and helped walk us through all the steps needed for an enjoyable experience. We played Squid Game and had lots of fun! I was worried I might get a headache from the VR but everything went smoothly.

Was a really great 1st time experience. Received excellent assistance from Adam. Will surely be returning.

The arcade games are pretty expensive and they blew through the $15 in less than 15 mins. The mini golf course was short and compacted on the main floor so the courses were not as fancy or intricate as some larger outdoor mini golf courses. The boys finished all 18 holes in less than 30 mins all by themselves. The laser tag was fun too. The vests were pretty big and heavy and it looked so big our littlest guy but he held his own. It seemed crowded when the summer camp group of kids were there, but when they all left, it wasn't crowded at all. Coming from LA, where anything fun is crowded, it was nice to not have to wait in long lines. We wanted to try the laser maze, but it wasn't working. The workers were all teenagers, and the manager guy looked maybe early 20's but they were all helpful. It was fun to spend a couple hours in the hot afternoon being indoors.

But they loved it, especially the gigantic green monster that would occasionally pop up and tower over the course. There are many different packages you can purchase. I ended up going with the combo golf and arcade package. It was a fairly good deal and I knew there was no way I would be getting out of this place without my kids playing a few rounds of Air Hockey and Skee-ball. I also enjoy a good arcade game myself. Some of the games, not all of them, dispense digital tickets. We managed to collect enough to get some fun toys including a spider that would crawl down a wall and an ice cream cone where you can launch the ice cream right off. My son thought this was the best invention ever! Overall, our time here was spectacular. We can't wait to visit again!

Not a couple random machines tucked in a corner, but enough games to keep you busy way longer than you planned. The cocktails? Oh they're gimmicky. Fully. And that's the fun of it. They're colorful, dramatic, a little extra, and totally fit the vibe. If you want a quiet, serious cocktail moment, this isn't that. If you want something playful in your hand while you dominate skee ball, you're in the right spot. Now the food -- this surprised me. The cheesesteak egg rolls are a must. Crispy, cheesy, packed with flavor. Absolutely order them. The buffalo chicken sliders were also a win. Messy in the best way, saucy, juicy, and perfect for grazing between games. What really made it though was the staff. They genuinely look like they're having a good time working there. Not fake smiles. Real energy. That kind of vibe changes everything and makes you want to hang out longer. Game On knows exactly what it is and leans all the way in. Fun first, good food, playful drinks, great energy. We'll be back.

The golfing is fun, it's horror themed and there's music playing which makes for a good ambience. The arcade, which is pretty much scattered throughout the entire establishment, is really fun. The snack shack has the kinds of food you would expect them to have like pizza, chicken tenders, french fries, and a bunch of candies and drinks. The virtual reality room is a lot of fun, i've tried the zombie one and the paranormal house game. Both of them were a lot of fun, but they have a lot of other options to choose from that aren't horror related. They also have a sensory night for kids or adults who struggle with bright lights and louder noises. I totally recommend 10/10. PS: I had the day's high score for their basketball game. The lack of a fun barcade feels a bit depressing. That's why I love that GameOn is in DC on U St and especially that Continues Arcade in Alexandria exists!!! Continues Arcade is fairly new and it's been a wonderful edition to the suite of bars in the DC Metro region. The owners are active on the business' TikTok page and I enjoy it a lot. You can tell they really enjoy video games. As a former full time reporter that worked at The Verge and IGN it's always refreshing to see business owners so engaged and passionate about gaming and turn that passion into an arcade to celebrate the games of yesteryear. Especially given the ongoing memory shortage that's causing gaming consoles to spike up to unprecedented numbers and no signs of the price of hardware going down. Nevertheless, Continues Arcade offers community gaming fun. With an expansive menu of food and drinks, solid hours, parking nearby, and an 8-10 min walk from the Braddock Rd metro station, this location is ideal for multiple options of travel whether you're driving, rideshare or public transit. I really enjoyed their selection of arcade machines. Space Invaders, Crazy Taxi, Dance Dance Revolution, even the The House of the Dead 2 is on-site!! I like that they are also taking feedback on arcade machines they want customers to look into tracking down with a form to complete and all! Seriously I can't recommend this place enough. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was excellent. I ordered the fried catfish sandwich, which was delicious, though a little challenging to eat without making a mess. Definitely worth it, though. I'd happily return for a similar outing. The only thing to keep in mind is the table time limit. I completely understand why they have it--it helps prevent people from camping at tables--but it does create a bit of "clock anxiety." If you're planning to eat and play games, it's probably easier to focus on one and then the other rather than trying to do both at the same time. Overall, a fun spot with great food and a nostalgic arcade atmosphere.
