Great vibe. Grubbin' menu. Good service. Parking is a little tough though.

We tried Sand Point Grill last week for dinner and we're very disappointed. I hope it was just an off night! Food: * Potato skins were delicious (5/5) * Chicken sandwich was ok, nothing special (3.5/5) * Lamb bolognese was terrible (1/5) - prominent flavors were bread and carrots. I think they might have changed the chef or recipe, but it's pretty bad. Pasta was cooke well, but I couldn't taste the lamb and it had no discernible tomato for a "tomato sauce". Avoid this dish! Drinks: Mediocre. My husband ordered the old fashioned (not well balanced - way too sweet) and then a gin & tonic (meh) Service: Pretty sure our waitress was in training, she was really nice but made a lot mistakes... including delivering our food to the wrong table. Unfortunately I'm not sure we will come back, but maybe for the HH and those potato skins. I really hope they can turn things around!

Yum! A neighbor had recommended this restaurant to me a couple of years ago and I kind of forgot about it. Thankfully I remembered and was able to try it out this week! I got here just after 5pm before the dinner rush and tried their Stoup porter (amazing!) as well as the soup of the day (a bunch of veggies pureed with a sort of curry apple flavor and a drizzle of truffle oil. I was nice and satiated by the time my friend arrived to join me. We shared the bruschetta (unique take on this traditional appetizer!) I loved the pomegranate and goat cheese. We also shared the quicos (large corn nuts) dish and enjoyed those very much. For dinner I had the fish tacos but opted to go without the flour tortillas in favor of greens. It ended up being a nice ahi salad - perfect! I tasted the chicken penne pasta dish my friend ordered and it was delightful as well. We finished the meal with the gelatiamo ice cream in cookies and cream and almond flavors (comes with molasses cookies baked fresh and delicious!) Great customer service and lovely dining setting. Looking forward to future visits to this lovely establishment! Parking is available in the City People lot or along Sand Point Way.

They have so much outdoor seating, on both sides of the cafe, which I really like. Way more than downtown. Food came out super quick too. My go to order has always been the Mr Breakfast plate, it's super hearty and full of great breakfast foods. However, the price has increased exponentially and quality has definitely gone down. I used to pay around $15 for this plate and it included bacon and now it's $17 + an extra $4 to add 2 pieces of bacon. (The bacon is totally worth it though). The potatoes recipe need to be completely refined, or they need to offer a substitution option for them. They are overly soft and they don't have nearly enough seasoning. That was the only thing that remained on my plate when I was done! and the soft boiled egg tasted a little off to me, like it had been sitting for a bit long. Other than that, the Turkish eggs and chopped chicken salad were very fresh and good. Staff were super nice when ordering at the counter, coffees and pastries were good as well. Overall I will come back here, just would like to see some quality changes with the Mr Breakfast as it used to be very good.

Good starter to share with others. We got seated outside on a nice day. Plenty of seating inside and out. Service was great, checking in on us. Would recommend if you're really craving viet food and are in the area. Other than that, it could be a little bit on the pricier side for food you can find elsewhere for cheaper. The dishes either lacked flavor or was too salty.

Nice that they have regular test, low test and no test drinks depending on how much alcohol you want. Food was very tasty, we had the lobster pasta and the fajitas. The tortillas were very flimsy so messy but still nice flavor and good amount of food.. started with the hummus which is what I was told to try there and yes a creative hummus plate... which brings me to the only hiccup... The chef gets creative at times and apparently edamame is in season so randomly added to the hummus even though not on the menu. Found out half way through then had to verify what beans they were and couldn't eat rest of dish. Server was awesome about it and wasn't a problem but if you have any allergies be aware the menu MAY not be exact so make sure you ask if there are any "enhancements" if you have any known issues. Took almost an hour to get seated, but we were able to grab some drinks from the coffee shop on the first floor of the hotel, which was a nice option. Once we got upstairs it was gorgeous! Lots of great seating options both inside and out. The views of downtown Seattle and Bellevue were EPIC. The staff were very friendly as well! I have to say, for the price the food and drinks weren't at the level I expected. We ordered nachos, crab Rangoon dip, and pretzel bites. The nachos were probably our favorite, but they weren't anything special for $22. The Rangoon dip was mostly cream cheese and barely had any flavor. I think they were depending on the nori chips to bridge the gap, but those didn't taste the greatest. Finally the pretzel bites were okay, but nothing I couldn't get at another gastropub for a much lower price. The drinks were fine, but not that strong. I ordered the Glacier Peak which was beautiful and refreshing. We'll be back for the views and maybe a couple of cocktails, but I'd say if you're bar hopping, spend money on food somewhere else in the area.

The black cod was not the center of the dish literally or figuratively: it should have been labeled a black cod salad because for 35 dollars it was a giant pile of salad with a tiny sliver of cod served on the side. It is offensive to call this a main course with how the dish is plated and portioned. The rest of the menu suffers from similar compromises: the lobster rolls are pretty good but very small for 33 dollars. Some of the other menu items were a lot better in presentation and value. The mushroom risotto and the cheeseburger were some of the better items on the menu. The oysters were also very good. There's some bright spots here but the overall experience is very compromised by some landmines on the menu. I would come here specifically to sample a few oysters and for the cheeseburger but not for any other items if you are expecting an actual meal. We came mostly for happy hour but there wasn't much that intrigued us on the menu. We did split half a dozen oysters that were served with the most boring and basic mignonette and no lemon. I'd come back for the burger and salad and that's it. The server left much to be desired and really impacted our experience. I know it's hard for restaurants to survive in Seattle with how expensive everything is. It's also expensive for people to go out to eat in this city.
