I was so impressed with his brows that I tried threading for the first time, and hasn't gone back to waxing or tweezing since then. So glad he told me about this place because they do a great job and it's so cheap. It's only $8 for upper lip and brows. I gotta admit, it was painful the first few times but I like that feeling now. They are super busy on the weekend with walk-ins only. Everyone wants Medina ( I think that's her name), the "daughter" so the wait is like an hr for her. I've never seen the mom doing it but she can, and the sister in law is decent. I still wait for Medina though, because she's the best. With one look at my brows, she came up with a game plan that included leaving some hairs here and there and applying castor oil for a few weeks so we could even things out. I came here to get my eyebrows done for the very first time over a year ago and haven't stopped since! All my friends come here to get their eyebrows and I only trust Madena to do them. She is very precise and shapes them beautifully. Their prices are also great (only $6 for threading)! Although there can be long wait times and she doesn't do appointments on the weekends so I would be prepared, also her open times fluctuate so if you want to come early or close to closing time I would recommend calling to make sure they're still open or taking clients. this is my first time visiting here and i feel like I will be back on the first visit a solid 3.5. first off I showed up at 630pm on Monday night and they close at 7pm. I saw one lady sitting and waiting and assumed I would be in and out. I was greeted by Medina I assume from the other yelp reviews I peruse before going here. she informed me off the bat the wait will be about 20/25min. I said fine. the waiting area is sectioned off from where they actually so your brows I didn't know other ladies where there and then 3 other ppl walked in to and straight to the back area. I wanted to see if Medina could do my brows and that's who I was waiting for. to make a long story I was there for about an hour the wait plus the actual threading. another young lady did my brows. she was very nice. and when i sat in her chair she asked me what I wanted done to my brows, then explained what she noticed about my brow shape and we went from there. overall apart from the waiting my experience was very positive. they are friendly and interact with their well know clients. read more

I'm really big on professionalism and today I'm done. Showed up 20 min before they opened and ended up waiting an hour to get my eyebrows done and I was the first person. Medina and her sis in law were 30min late. Her mom who opened the shop couldn't give any accurate times on when she would arrive otherwise I would've left sooner. You lost a Loyal customer because you choose to disregard that people have other things to do besides wait around for you to show up to your job. First of all, Sana's is very reasonably priced. I love going into the salon, the atmosphere is so relaxed and unprententious. The young girl (owner's daughter) is an amazing brow shaper and she really listens. She takes the time to look at your face and your natural brow shape before she starts threading. And even more importantly, she has an incredible eye for symmetry. If you are looking for zen gardens and waterfalls then you might try another salon, this is very mom & pop style. I always come here to get my eyebrows threaded. I can't find any other place that's cheaper in the area. I have to get my eyebrows waxed when I'm in Austin since threading is expensive, and they never look as good as getting it threaded here. The daughter does a great job shaping the brows, and she's very fast. The place is a bit dirty, but that's never been a problem. During peak times, the line is VERY long, and I usually come back another day. However, I highly recommend this place! read more

Medina is super nice with a sense of humor. 4 star for the long wait. My friend and I waited for a good hour. She asked how I wanted my brows. And I told her and showed her a picture. I wanted them to be straight. About no arch to a slight arch. However the finishes service was beautiful. So she gave me my normal arch that I usually have to begin with. It took me 2 months to grow out my brows. So I was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, they're beautiful. But my goal was for straighter brows. It was my first time threading. It was a little uncomfortable. But I think I'll stick to waxing. read more

Medina is the best in town. Everywhere i go i am never impressed except for Medinas work. She pays attention to details and make sure they come out even. My eyebrows are very hard to work with bc one side is arched and the other one is more rounded but shes able to make them both evenly arched and not too thin and the fact u only pay $6 is awesome. The only thing is the wait can be long. Everyone usually wait on her so the wait can take up to an hour and the whole shop is filled so either go early or on weekdays. The shop may need some updating but they are clean and have been around for a long time. read more
