The iced sand dune latte was so, so, so good. It's sweet, it's got the delicious 'spice' from the cardamom, topped with whipped cream and sugar crunchies .... Definitely feels like a treat. Tried this place after seeing it as a viral callout for the matcha lovers of Austin. I would like to come back because I think I just got the wrong thing. First of all the location is not obvious - the truck is sunbleached so hard to tell that it's the one you're looking for in the back of the supermarket parking lot. I ordered a matcha latte, and asked if it was sweetened at all. The man said no but I could sweeten with dates (since the palm matcha latte has that plus chocolate). I got it and it was just simply TOO sweet - the dates overpowered the matcha too much. He was also nice and offered a discount on the baklava, but I think he forgot to ring up the discount he mentioned because I was charged full price. Baklava was good but not better than some of the other places around know for it. Would like to try again if I'm in this part of town! read more

I didn't realize this location was a truck until I got there, but the menu seems to be the same as the one at the brick and mortar. Service was extremely quick and friendly! I got the sand dune latte and it was so good! You can really taste the cardamom, and I liked it a lot. It was sweet, and if I get this again, I'd probably ask to make it a little less sweet. I LOVE this little truck. The only thing that I have negative so far to say is that they are closed a few days a week! I've been 3 times now and had fantastic coffee every time. Stoped for a quick coffee and was pleased to find such a highly rated option. I ordered the Yemeni latte which was sweet but well balanced. The nicest surprise was the honeycomb cake. Worth every cent! It has a cream cheese type filing and is only lightly sweet so it went well with my sweeter coffee. Looks like they are getting a store front in Cedar Park. 10/10 coffee and teas! I LOVE spiced drinks, especially with cardamom, and Arwa does it so well. I've been wanting to try the storefront in Dallas and so glad they opened this food truck in Austin! I highly recommend the Yemeni latte. I've gotten this both hot (with a cute printed camel) as well as iced. Flavors are fantastic. For tea lovers, I also LOVE the Red tea. The cardamom and mint in this does it for me. Totally addicting. They have some seasonal drinks that look amazing too although seem to be on the sweeter side. Service is amazing, staff has been so friendly and kind every time. Seating is limited but I have never had an issue. Definitely worth a visit! This was my first time trying Yemeni coffee. I'm not a coffee person, but I liked the iced Yemeni latte because it was sweet and tasty. My friend who brought me here described these drinks as "spicy coffee" because of the cardamom. It's a cute little coffee truck in a not-so-cute parking lot for some shops. They have two picnic tables without shade. It is quite pricey though, especially with milk substitutions and even for making the drink iced. The spices were on point. We also got the Dubai chocolate. Small, but sooo good. That was the priciest thing we purchased actually. Really a hidden gem. If you're tired of the same old lattes and stuff, this place has some really unique and tasty coffee creations, on top of the traditional stuff. I've tried a date latte, the Yemeni latte, and a pistachio latte from here, both were really different and tasty, although the date one is quite sweet if you're not into that. Also tried a Mofawer, which to me tasted like a super good dirty chai. It reminded me a lot of the excellent Texas chai that Levercraft coffee used to have before they closed (RIP!!). Service is incredibly friendly and prices are more than fair. Definitely worth your time if you're a coffee person. read more

Amazing coffee spot! Came here on a Sunday afternoon for a caffeine fix and was blown away by the drinks! I ordered the Pistachio Matcha Latte which looked to be a newer drink option. I was truly amazed at how good it was and how I could really taste how well the pistachio and matcha flavors worked together. My friend got the Sand Dune Latte which was also great. This is truly a hidden gem in Austin and a MUST VISIT. There is something for everyone here from authentic Yemeni teas and hot chais that soothe my desi heart, they've even got the famous Dubai chocolate so if you've been wanting to try that this is your spot! There was plenty of parking when we visited and nice benches outside to devour treats at. My absolute favorite was the honeycomb bread, so much so that I'm posting three photos here, isn't it gorgeous! This was my favorite treat back when I lived in Doha and I was ecstatic to find it in this little truck in Austin. You can pick between black seeds or sesame and I went with the black seeds for their health benefits ( I know I know on top of a sweet desert but it counts!) it was warm and topped with a cardamom and honey syrup that I'm still thinking off, the cheese inside was the perfect complement to the sweets of the syrup. We got the red tea with mint and Adeni tea (close to chai) and it was delicious and for 5 usd you get a huge cup! A little pricey, but it was actually worth it! My boyfriend got the Sand Dune Latte which is basically their version of a caramel latte. It was pretty sweet, but it had a nice little twist & complexity in flavor. I had the pistachio matcha and OH MY GOODNESS IT WAS SOO RICH & CREAMY!! You can tell whatever they used for the pistachio flavor comes from real pistachio. I tried the viral pistachio matcha from Merit the other day which was similar in price, but NO WHERE NEAR AS GOOD as this one! This one did not taste artificial, was not watery & the matcha did not have clumps unlike Merit. This is how you would expect a pistachio matcha to taste! read more

The original mofawer coffee is really nice but order it as it is, they don't do modifications for traditional drinks. The barista was friendly and helpful. If you prefer less sweet coffee, you can adjust the signature lattes accordingly. The traditional beverages cannot be adjusted to preserve the integrity of the recipe, as an fyi. I enjoyed the Yemeni latte, which I ordered without the honey.
