This was my first time at this office. They have parking lot, which is great. I had an appointment at 09:15 and I was seen on time. The office is very quaint and clean. I was seen by Dr.Anaya. He was very thorough and heard me out when it came to my concerns. I had both a contact lens and glasses exams. I brought my 10 year old here for a routine check-up and was very impressed with the customer service, both over the phone and in person. Over the phone the woman scheduling the appointment was VERY helpful! She ran our insurance let us know the exact cost and out of pocket fees. She called back with a 24 reminder the day before and all went smoothly. Following my sons appointment I scheduled my husband and myself for appointments as well. After I got our appointment time wrong and showed up way too early (even after the 24 hr. reminder), we were still accommodated! The check up was thorough. The doctor took his time giving my husband and myself a comprehensive exam, after which Hazel was especially helpful in finding the right frames that fit our budget. The office is quaint, very clean, and has a nice selection of frames. They are also very mindful of COVID mandates and do not overbook. They allow no more than 2 customers at a time for safety purposes, and clean all areas after use. The customer service is exceptional! The doctor is efficient, and precise. The office staff and optometrists assistants we great! Super attentive and kind.We will definitely be back, so grateful to have good eye care nearby. read more

I try to write reviews for businesses that are both good and bad and this office was a standout. The doctor was lovely and the office staff friendly and punctual (no overbooking!). But there are a few things that make this office exceptional, as opposed to good. 1. No upselling - I realize that many of these offices make money off of upselling glasses and options, but not once did the doctor try to do that with me. He was clear that I did not particularly need to get the more expensive progressive lenses, but could function with bifocals or even less expensive reading glasses. 2. Honesty - everyone, from the doctor to the staff, knew the pricing and laid it out plainly. When there was an option that would cost additional money, it wasn't just automatically pushed on me, but rather the doctor and the staff would explain it to me, and the subsequent pros and cons. 3. Knowledge about fit and frame - this is probably the one thing that really made me want to write this review. I have ALWAYS wanted help to choose a frame that would work for my face. I'm never sure what'll work with my face shape, I'm overwhelmed by the option and I end up choosing the worst looking glasses. I don't know what her name is, but the woman that helped me find my glasses was AMAZING. She gave me ideas of shapes to try, was totally patient, AND she only pulled frames that my insurance would cover. Again, complete honesty and no harried attempts at upselling. She put me in a room by myself and gave me feedback and it was great! I've never had this type of service before and I've been to some pretty nice offices. My second visit with this optometrist was very disappointing. The staff are not professional. They are laughing and talking with each other while the patients are in the waiting room. On my last visit the doctor said I might have to have eye surgery. I was very shocked and surprised because I had no problems with eye vision. I went to see a specialist and he said my eyes were completely normal. To have an optometrist diagnose incorrectly is alarming. I will not see this optometrist again. read more

My visit there was ok. But getting my glasses well thats another story. They have a sign posted outfront with the hours of business but they close early when ever they feel like. I work a lot (understatement) so when i have a few extra mins to swing by to get my product and end up waisting my time it gets me irritated. So i ask to get them shipped to find out that i need to go in to have my card on file to do that. Not going back for my next visit thats for sure. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Anaya here for almost 8 or 9 years and each time I go there, it's a pleasure. Dr. Anaya is very professional but not intimidating or impersonal like some doctors can be. And i know doctors, i work with them! A lot of them (not all) have a major superiority complex, however, Dr. Anaya is really one of the best. If you are anxious or are afraid of doctors in general...Dr. Anaya will put you at ease, he's friendly and has a quiet, almost serene bed side manner that will definitely relax you and make you feel comfortable. He explains what he's going to do, before he does it, so you know what to expect and he's very thorough with his exam because he wants to ensure that he gets your prescription as accurate as possible. A good doctor has to have a good staff behind him to make his practice work, and Dr. Anaya's staff is great! They're on top of your insurance and they will tell you what's covered and what isn't, they will call to remind you of your appointment, and when your contacts/glasses are in, they also call to notify you. They are very friendly and also have great bedside manners, which is important because they will be the ones that fit you for your glasses and show you how to use contacts if you're a first-timer. Dr. Anaya's office is also open on Saturday mornings, which is freakin' fantastic because if your low on PTO like I am, you don't have to miss work to see the doc. It's usually easy to get in for an appt, but his Saturdays are usually booked at least 3 wks in advance, however, when i asked if they could put me on a cancellation list, i was called later that day with an appt for that Saturday instead of the appt i had for a month later... Needless to say, I was a very happy glasses free girl! That being said... Dr. Anaya is a major hottie and always smells nice BUT he's married ladies, so look but don't touch! ;-) I've referred a few co-workers to him in the past and they agree, Dr. Anaya IS a hottie, AND a super awesome eye doctor! read more

I had been going to the same eye doctor for years and my family finally convinced me to switch to Dr. Anaya. I must say, the switch was well worth it!! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. this office has been here all my life and i'm 41! my aunt insists on coming here for her glasses so i bring her .. the office is due for a facelift it's very dated and smells when you walk in and has no character or charm... the staff is nice and friendly and work fast no complaints with them... just think it should be updated. read more

Dr Anaya deserves 10 stars actually because he is professional and thorough! I don't know why i left this practice in the first place but he is the best eye doctor i've seen in a long time. No star if there is way I can do it.... Quite disappointed since 3 weeks (1 week to order the sunglasses and 2 weeks to process the prescription) should be long enough to get my order right... No question asked when we went there. Paid everything in full to ensure a smooth transaction. Today, I called to check if ready after 3 weeks and I was told that it doesn't look right. I asked to email me the pic and it is really not even closed t the one I ordered. I ordered and paid for blue, radiant, mirrored and this one is nowhere near and not mirrored. I even sent them the one I ordered versus the one they emailed me to show how different it is... BAD BUSINESS.... I was also told that I have 2 options, to get it redone since they supposedly know now what to do or be refunded... Isn't it common sense when someone ordered mirrored and blue versus brown not mirrored?... I am choosing to just not do anymore business with them... They better refund me and my insurance be available for use somewhere today.... read more
