Birria Tacos. Comes w/bowl of birria sauce. Excellent!

Mex-cellent! ;) Homemade goodness! Welcoming decor! Excellent service! I've tried almost every taco they offer including their Birria Taco from the specials menu and they're huge and delicious! They provide at least one big lime slice per taco and plenty of salsa rojo (a little spicy) and verde (milder). The crispy chips from their complementary Chips & Salsa are nice and crunchy- not oily. Their Horchata's so addictive and refreshingly tasty. My kids loved their Chicken Wings and Fingers with really good and plenty of fries and the rest of fam enjoyed their dishes. We were too full to get dessert but I'm sure it's just as yummy as everything else. Overall, a fabulous little fiesta! NOTES/TIPS: **In a small plaza w/a little parking lot w/high turnover. **Order via phone to be sure they get your order.

Came for lunch with co-workers. Small venue, playing Spanish music (at times a bit too loud for such a small space), w/servers who do their best with speaking English. Not an issue, as most people speak at least basic Spanish anyway. Service was a decent pace, & the food was very good. We had the complimentary chips & dip (spicy red & semi-spicy green), Guacamole con Nachos, Quesadillas de Pollo, Burrito de Res, Boing de Mango, & Coca refresco Mexicano A good place to try, & would make for a fair go-to in a pinch. Grades: Chips & Dip: C+ Guacamole con Nachos: B- Quesadillas de Pollo (Chicken Quesadilla): A- Burrito de Res (Beef Burrito): B Boing de Mango: A+ Coca Refresco Mexicano: A

Really good Mexican food at reasonable price. Not sure how I didn't even know about this place given that I live under 15min away. Glad I found it on yelp. Its got a nice setup inside, reminds me of some of the Mexican joints in socal. Service is very friendly. They actually bring complimentary chips and salsa at the start. Food was good. The pork in the tacos was extremely good... very moist and flavorful. Also enjoyed the alambre... very generous amount of chicken. Horchata was decent. Will definitely be back

Decided to try this place because we were craving birria tacos but when we got their they didn't have so we tried other tacos which were great ! We got to sit wherever we wanted and the chairs and decor are really cute ! We ordered waters an their horchata which was delish and we ordered 3 of their different taco platter , Res/chorizo and steak ! All were delicious ! We ordered flan afterwards which wasn't ur traditional flan but it wasn't horrible ! Prices are reasonable and we definitely would go back

Amazing food, fast service, and the ambience is very cultural of that being to Mexico. I've came here because I was craving nachos after trying some at home. This place exceeded all expectations and now I have a new go to when I go to this place rather than my regular tacos.

Alambres. Pick one of them and thank me later

Very legit Mexican place in a quiet strip mall that share it's parking lot with a CBD smoke and barbershop. I came here by myself for dinner because Boo Boo was away. I ordered the al pastor alambre. Which is marinated pork mixed with bacon, cheese and some pineapple served on a hot iron plate. The entree came with a lot of warm flour tortillas to be used to make tacos with the meats. The difference with alamabre mini taco than an order of tacos was it wasnt dressed with onions, cilatro and radishes. The salsa Verde was really good with greasy cheesy meats. I washed it down with a mango Arizona. Not sure if they serve horchata. Bathroom was clean. Not sure if they accept credit card because I paid in cash. Mexican music on the playlist added to the ambiance. I will definitely be back and maybe bring a couple work proximity associates. Boo Boo may find this neighborhood too dangerous.

    Quesadillas de Pollo

When arriving to pick up the order after the original pick up time was pushed back because it had not been confirmed (30 mins later) they were unaware of our order. After asking us to wait 15 mins we were finally given our order 30 mins after that. Upon eating the quesadilla there was a piece of glass in there. The restaurant was also very loud and employees weren't very helpful.

Amazing food and large portions! Waiter was super friendly and food came out quick. Inside was decorated very nicely.

Food was delicious. Came with my brother , we ordered the birria tacos and tacos al carbon , they were great ! We were surprised at the amount we got as well. We were expecting 3 and they gave us 4 ! Affordable so we can't complain. Highly recommend ! The servers were really nice ! The place itself was awesome.

One of my biggest pet peeves is people talking over my food, and that is exactly what happened. While my bowl was being assembled, I added a few items that came with an upcharge. The employee making my bowl informed me of the extra cost, which I understood completely--I've been to Cava many times and know how it works. However, as she repeatedly explained the upcharge, she was talking directly over my food and visibly spitting while speaking, which made me extremely uncomfortable. When I tried to reassure her that I understood and that it wasn't necessary to keep repeating it, her coworker jumped in saying it was "company policy" to ask. I told them that was fine and that I would pay whatever the cost was, but asked that they stop repeating it. Instead of de-escalating, both employees began laughing and smirking, which felt very unprofessional. I calmly explained that I don't like people talking over my food. Their response was sarcastic and dismissive, which eventually led to me raising my voice out of frustration. When it came time to add dressing, the employee intentionally drowned my bowl in dressing to the point where it was completely soggy and inedible--it honestly felt like retaliation. I asked if they would eat something prepared that way, and only then did the manager step in. Thankfully, the manager handled the situation professionally and remade my bowl, which I truly appreciated. I own a franchise myself, and proper food service practices and basic respect for customers are non-negotiable. Talking over food, laughing at customers, and acting spitefully has no place in a restaurant. The manager handled the situation appropriately, but the behavior of the front-line staff was unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

The entrees we ordered: the vegetarian moussaka, the lamb ("Bifteki") platter, and the chicken souvlaki platter. We were very happy and very satisfied. Portions are ample. Timing of the 2 grilled meat dishes with the oven-baked casserole was perfect: everything was hot. Our thanks to the chef of a well managed kitchen. The complementary butter cookies were a delightful way to end the meal. Our server was attentive and professional. The interior is spotless, with minimal decoration, so nothing distracting. The restaurant is in a mixed residential-small business neighborhood. We're happy to recommend this restaurant to others.

I'm seeing many 3-4 star reviews from fellow Yelpers and I keep thinking that perhaps my experience…read morewas a singular one. The two stars I'm giving here is for the restaurant itself. This restaurant looks great. There is a nice counter area to order, a really nice seating area inside and even outdoor seating. Some of the decor makes you feel like you're in a household's kitchen. By the cashier there is a table you can wait at complete with local newspapers. It's very charming. This was my first visit and I ordered my food to go. I had two key dishes. The first was hummus with falafel, which is very standard for me whenever I go to any Mediterranean place. When I opened the take out box at home I was really surprised. Most places give you a good amount of hummus, but here it was basically a thin layer. Kind of like a layer of mayo on a sandwich (maybe a tad thicker). Then on top of the hummus was a huge layer of pickled vegetables and tiny pickles. This was a surprise. I've had hummus orders from a lot of restaurants before and I've *never* seen this on an order before. Then the falafel balls were on top and well...they were really dry and didn't have much flavor. Now, sometimes you can cover that up by just coating the falafel in hummus, but there wasn't enough hummus to do that. The dish was just disappointing all around. The other dish I tried were the Lemon Potatoes. They were good! The lemon flavor was strong and they were cooked well. Not the best example in the area, but they would do in a pinch. At some point I'll give this place another try. Maybe this was a fluke (at least I hope so).
