The Trousdale. Those words alone mean the world to me. My brothers and I needed to get quality…read morecare for our mother. We no longer could handle the job ourselves, even with caregivers. We toured several assisted living facilities in the area and decided that The Trousdale was the best fit and the best atmosphere for our 95 year old mother. And believe me, she was not on board. After a serious fall and a rehab facility, we moved her to The Trousdale. That was absolutely the right choice. The caregivers are the best I have ever encountered. Kind, warm, caring and friendly. She had around the clock care. They dressed her daily, took her to the dining room for her meals and engaged her in daily activities. She never once complained about being there. When dementia set in the staff addressed that also. She was happy. The Trousdale provides immediate communication to family members when there is an issue, i.e., falls, illness, or even behavioral issues. I highly recommend "The Trousdale" for your loved ones. If I am in need of assistance one day, I hope my family finds me a place like this, or sends me there. Those who are capable can come and go freely and those who no longer have the ability to safely go out on their own are entertained and engaged in social and physically therapeutic activities. I am forever thankful for the care my mother received.

She greets visitors and residents by name, takes time to listen, and handles everything with compassion. She's been so wonderful with my grandma-- patient, kind, and truly attentive to her needs. Staff like Hina are the reason this place feels like a community, not just a facility. Highly recommend.

As one of my all-time favorites in Senior Care - Skilled Nursing Care Facilities, I must say…read morethat Burlingame Long Term Care offers some of the most tremendously skilled CNAs, Nurse Administrators and Administrative staff, based here on the San Francisco Peninsula! As a long-term proprietor of the Brius Corporation, which is nominally based in Los Angeles County, Burlingame Long Term Care is conveniently located in sunny Burlingame, CA, minutes away from San Francisco, within local reach of Mills-Peninsula Hospitals, and provide more than adequate senior care, for the sick-and-shut-in, the senior elderly disabled, and maintain a unique brand of senior care for seniors of all ages, where health care delivery is prompt, definitely within reach of all the senior health care necessities, that are more than adequately delivered in a well senior health care delivery services for senior long-term care. Provides unique senior health care services, always with a sincere, prompt manner, catering to if all, and most of the neccesities of every day senior care within the locale of prompt health care delivery services. Highly recommended throughout greater California, based on continuous delivery of outstanding senior disabilty care and health services, the staff of CNAs are very courteous, excellent administrative services, conducting promptly within California Health Care Policy, relative to senior care, definitely one I would recommend from brief to long-term stays throughout! After having been a senior disabled resident of Burlingame Long-Term Care, also a frequent place where my family members, friends, and associates have been residents of BLTC, this is just the most wonderful place to refer your senior citizens and family members to gain access to prompt delivery of tremendous health care in a skilled nursing care facility like Burlingame Long-Term Care and its associate facilities! Just tell them Joyce L Williams sent you, when you are seeking an senior care facility, and would rate them among the best in senior care and loyalty to the tremendous need for senior health care! Ciao,

I wanted to sue this place. I know that may sound harsh, but I have to be honest about how strongly…read moreI feel about what happened to my father while he was here. My dad was sent here after coming from the Bay Area because we were trying to get him access to better medical care, including doctors and hospitals such as Zuckerberg San Francisco General and UC Davis. He was unable to walk and was completely dependent on others for his basic needs. He was placed here because he needed somewhere to stay while everything was being figured out. Over the course of about a month and a half, my father lost somewhere between 20-30 pounds. We were told that he was refusing food. What I cannot understand is why his family, doctors, or anyone responsible for his care was not notified that he was consistently refusing or not eating. What makes this even more upsetting is that he continued receiving pain medication while barely eating. I'm not a medical professional, but it is extremely concerning to me that someone in his condition could go that long without adequate nutrition while continuing to receive medication. When I went there and asked the staff, including the head nurse, why nobody contacted his family or doctors about his lack of eating, the response was essentially, "He didn't want to eat, so we couldn't force him to." There were excuses and explanations, but nobody could give me a satisfactory answer as to why the family wasn't informed. I'll be the first to admit that I could have been a better son. I could have checked in more and been more involved. I take responsibility for that. But when you place a loved one in someone else's care, you expect the people responsible for them to recognize when something is seriously wrong and communicate that to the family and medical team. My father ultimately passed away, and I will always wonder whether things could have been different if his declining condition had been taken more seriously and communicated to the people who could have helped him. The lack of communication and care we experienced was unacceptable and heartbreaking. If you have a loved one here--or if you are considering having a loved one placed here--I strongly recommend doing your research and considering other options. Based on my family's experience, I would not recommend this facility to anyone.
