I went to two different massage therapists before finding Lidys. It is one thing going to a LDM specialist and another to go to someone with a nursing background and understands what your body goes through during the recovery process. I had fibrosis growing in my back and the two specialists I saw before Lidys did not mention it or try to address the problem at all. Thankfully I found her and she was able to get out my fibrosis lumps significantly in one session and completely in the second. Don't get scammed by these other lymphatic specialist that demand you buy 6-10 treatment sessions. She was honest and told me I only needed two treatments which was true. She also recommends stretches, garments and foams that made such a huge difference in my recovery. Thank you Lidys! And to anyone looking for after care massages after surgery there is no one in San Francisco better than Lidys.

The first 48 hours after surgery were the most challenging. I experienced pain, swelling, and blurry vision. I wasn't able to care for myself during that time, but thankfully, I had arranged for Lidys to take care of me. I met with Lidys before my operation, and I was very impressed by her knowledge and professionalism. I decided immediately that she would be the perfect post-operative care nurse for me. Lidys picked me up from the surgeon's recovery room 12 hours after my surgery and brought me back to my hotel room. She was by my side every step of the way during those first difficult 48 hours--helping me eat, sleep, stand, walk, and use the bathroom. Lidys is highly knowledgeable about pain management. I was in a lot of pain and needed Norco regularly, but she was very careful about balancing the medication to avoid constipation, which could have affected my healing. She scheduled my doses with precision and care to ensure I was comfortable and healing properly. She is also an expert in operating the AquaCool system. Because I had blepharoplasty, she carefully used cotton pads to protect my eyelids before applying the cooling mask. Lidys truly went above and beyond--she gave me gentle massages, made nourishing soups, and even called my friend daily to update them on my condition. After the initial 48 hours, I arranged for another caregiver to continue my care, and Lidys personally trained her on how to manage my medications and recovery routine. I truly believe that without Lidys's exceptional care, I would not have recovered so quickly or smoothly. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of post-operative recovery support.

Within just a few days, his bed, table, and caregivers were in place, and support began immediately. Nurse Jamie, a skilled and compassionate male nurse, connected with my father right away. The caregivers also formed an instant, warm bond with my stepmom, who could no longer care for him on her own. Their kindness brought comfort and stability to our whole family. After 8-9 months of their attentive care, my father began eating again, walking, and truly thriving -- at 96 years old. He improved so much that he no longer qualified for hospice. My sister and I were incredibly impressed by how quickly they acted and how lovingly they cared for him during such a vulnerable time. Thank you to Jamie and the caring staff at ANX -- our family is forever grateful.

We started going because our daughter seemed somewhat delayed in her milestones of sitting, crawling etc, and was exhibiting some hypotonic tendencies. Sophia was very patient with both my daughter and myself (as an anxious mama). We probably could have benefited from going for longer, but I just couldn't keep going with my work schedule and pulling my daughter our of daycare to make the appts (this wasn't a critical need). If we have any future physical therapy needs, we will definitely return!

I was doubtful after my first visit...maybe I just didn't click with the PT that day but everything changed once we saw Sarah. Sarah is amazing in every way possible. She was very personable and knowledgeable. At the end of every visit, she took the time to thoroughly explain exercises that were performed and how it helps Sammie progress. She also gave us exercises to do and nothing ever felt rushed. The appointments stopped feeling like doctors appointments but more like a play date and an opportunity for me to have 45 minutes to myself. This all changed when COVID hit and we decided to migrate and stick with telehealth. Definitely wasn't easy to have a resistant toddler do exercises but, again, Sarah remained patient and kind. The front desk person, Aida, was so sweet to boot. I love the fact that they started taking Venmo payments during COVID so that I didn't have to keep a credit card on file. I was really looking forward to our follow up in November to see Sarah and Aida but looks like they're no longer part of the practice. Hopefully we'll have a good experience with the new team when we return for a check in.

Lotus Foot Care came up in my search and it sounded like a good fit. I talked to Jeanne on the phone, where she carefully described what she did, how much it would cost, different ways to pay her, and what to expect. It was a plus to me that she is a registered nurse.. We made an appointment a few days out, and she arrived on time with a little suitcase, full of beautiful personalized clean and new tools. She got to work with precision on all of the things that were bothering me including a pesky callous. I was at ease and when it was over, my feet felt beautiful. He understands that moving to a senior facility is a major change. He will arrange for you to see multiple facilities within your price range, including discussing possible programs to help with costs. He works to find the best facility for the individual, showing real care that they will be happy with their choice. My aunt's friend just turned 90. He has multiple health concerns that have made it exceedingly dangerous for him to live alone in his home. He is also a very difficult person so the option of having a caretaker live with him does not seem reasonable. We looked at some options a few years ago, but he wasn't ready to make the move yet. Now his family agreed it's time. Brent, who worked with us previously, was happy to arrange tours of multiple facilties. He makes sure all of your questions are answered and that you have a full understanding of the services offered. He also recommends services to help with the move, clearing out your house, etc. He knows the resources that work best with seniors and persons with disabilities to lessen stress and provide support while getting the work done. Whether you are looking for now or planning for the future, Brent is the best person to work with so you can learn the options for senior and assisted living.

But at the last minute, my friend recommended Brent Hensley. He was a life saver! We had very little time and within hours he arranged visits to three facilities in San Francisco that would match our mother's personality and needs. He held a zoom meeting with my siblings and me to guide us in our decision making. He intervened when we needed help in convincing my mother to move. His knowledge and experience were invaluable in helping us to make very tough and agonizing decisions. Nobody wants to leave their home. And we felt so stressed asking our mom to do something she didn't want to do (but we knew it was not safe to have her stay at home). Three months later, just as Brent said, our initially resistant mother is happy and thriving at her new home. My siblings and I are relieved and happy. Amazingly, Brent's services are free for clients like us. We did not feel steered toward a one size fits all recommendation. Brent was sensitive and nuanced in his ability to find a great fit for our mom. His services are highly recommended.

I came here the first weekend of September after dealing with a budding skin infection…read more Front desk was amazing. It's ER doctor Braunstein that made a critical error in diagnosing me. He has too much belief in an on call dermatologist's words over the phone that he couldn't use common sense to see that my leg was indeed undergoing a bacterial infection indicated by the growing cellulitis, swelling, and weeping that was happening. He kept pushing contact dermatitis after I begged him to reconsider. He sent me home with topical steroids- something you should never use on bacterial infections. If there was any benefit, it proved that I had a bacterial infection because my leg grew 3x the size. Within 24 hours- I was already going to the other CPMC campus at Duboce for a more seasoned ER Doc who was more tentative to my needs. It's taken me a while to write this because I've had 7 months to do my own research and monitor my skin in this healing process. My skin is now more sensitive and prone to breakouts than ever- making physical activity more challenging. Every friend and medical professional in between who I've asked says you should NEVER use topical steroids on bacterial infections. The dermatologist who I explained my experience with says this is not unreasonable that Braunstein trusted that prescription of topical steroids, but I simply do not think that it is reasonable to test topical steroids for an if-then-else scenario. The topical steroids have weakened my skin more than strengthen it.
