The training we received from you was instrumental in helping us in keeping our two boys safe. Your training was not for them, but for us. Capone and Pawlie appear much happier now, much more responsive, and Jodi and I are much more confident in our abilities. When our boys started becoming aggressive with each other, it broke our hearts. We had so much happening in our lives, we had forgotten that we project on to our kids. Instead of having one step forward , three steps back, we are now four steps forward and one step back. We just know, now, that we have to be more diligent with them and remember they too are our children. Your guidance, and teaching, has helped us regain our lives, and feel that our kids are safe, and they have been playing together. We, as Mom and Dad, still stress and want to make sure they are always safe, but our lives are much calmer because of you and your teaching. I look forward to actually getting to the group classes, and seeing you soon! Thanks again! Shane Brough

When we adopted Angus, an American Bulldog, he was extremely reactive, had zero impulse control, and was tough to manage. Walks were stressful--he would bark, lunge, and completely lose it around other dogs. Recall was non-existent, and previous trainers had little success with him. After his time at CharlieBar, everything changed. Angus now walks calmly on a leash, his reactivity has decreased by at least 90%, and he thrives during his daily training sessions at home. The most remarkable part of Ricardo's approach is that it goes beyond basic commands--he teaches dogs how to think, make decisions, and self-correct. It's not just about punishment or praise; it's about helping dogs understand their choices. With a simple "uh uh," Angus now stops, thinks, and chooses better behavior--without fear or confusion. We're beyond grateful for the results and highly recommend CharlieBar to anyone looking to make a lasting difference in their dog's behavior.

The shelter we got her from recommended another dog trainer/behavior specialist that we consulted with first, however we didn't have great feelings about that option so we decided to look elsewhere. We came across All American K9 & the phone call we had with Bob sold it all. He was not pushy, selling, nor trying to sway us for a board & train. Matter of fact, he recommended private sessions instead of the board & train - which is what we were pushed to thinking was the only option from the previous behavioral specialist consult. We also read all the reviews of All American K9 - all those 5 star reviews are definitely there for a reason & I'm proud to be writing one myself! Our dog struggles with aggression out of fear, lack of confidence, and nervousness. After the first private session, there was a noticeable difference in her - confidence is building & fear/nervousness is dwindling. Bob teaches you all the right information & tricks in the training sessions so all you have to do is go home & continue them! We love that we are the ones handling our dog while he is educating us in real time. He is a pretty personable guy too, easy to get along with while your slotted session flies by. We can't thank you enough Bob!!! These private lessons have been the best thing we could have done for her & us as her owners! In conclusion - if you love your dog, invest in the time & money and you won't be disappointed with All American K9

A colleagusuggested that I try a dog trainer named Bob Solomini that he had used in the past. His passion and confidence in Bob convinced me and even though I was very skeptical and worn out I decided to give it one last try. I am excited to tell you about my invaluable experience and what I learned from it: -my dog was only a small part of the problem, but the majority of the behavioral problems stemmed from me. Dogs aren't born knowing how to behave the way humans would like them to, so we as responsible dog owners need to teach them. -we don't automatically realize what we are doing wrong and unless a true professional who really cares can teach us the correct way we can't be sure that we will ultimately have a happy relationship with our pet. -after four years of pulling my hair out and stressful walks with my dog I wound up moving to a new neighborhood, and my dog was totally out of control when I walked him. When he saw people with dogs, he went crazy and I could not stop him from barking and pulling. In fact, he pulled me down a couple of times where I sprained my ankle and another time where I hurt my knee. In fact, most of my neighbors walked the other way when they saw us and complained about my dog's bad behavior. After the first lesson, I immediately knew that I had found something different. Humane, focused,, professional, and results driven. I am so lucky that I found all American K-9 and especially Bob Solomini. I love walking my dog now, and all of my neighbors have praised the incredible transformation that they see. This was literally a life-changing experience for my dog and for me. I am so thankful that I found somebody that really knows what they're doing and really cares -not only is Bob a great person, but also the Best dog trainer that I have ever met. I highly recommend this trainer and business to anyone who is serious about having a great dog!

She's worked with both my Malinois (who have VERY different personalities and abilities). She's helped me with everything from treadmill training, to riding along a bicycle, to keeping them away from my cat, to basic through advanced obedience. And LISTEN, this is REAL obedience training. I've taken my prior dogs through Petsmart courses, and passed their advanced class, but those trainers (most of them anyway) have no idea how to really train a dog, and their owner. I considered myself to have above-average knowledge with training dogs, but watching Bryana work with my dogs sure humbled me quite a bit. I just assumed my female Malinois would never pick up a focused heel, but within 5 minutes she was doing a perfect focused heel with Bryana. When I tried it, she'd slack off. So I realized I needed the training more than my dog. Bryana was not only there to help during training sessions, but she answered texts for little things as they came up outside of class. She can also handle herself around protection dogs. There was a scary incident where I was working my dogs with a decoy at the same time and the decoy was injured (due to a suit malfunction). In the chaos, I was unable to get both my dogs off. Bryana, who was just there to take pics, jumped in the training area and didn't hesitate to pull one of my dogs off while I pulled off the other. She knows how to read dogs' body language, and knew how do this without getting injured, and keeping the decoy safe from further injury. Oh, and one more thing, I had a terrible incident when my dogs escaped my yard. While I was driving around looking for them, I called to let her know and she immediately posted on our local Fido Alert (lost pets) FB page for me. Luckily, I found them less than an hour later, but it was thoughtful of her to help me out by getting their pics and info out there right away.

If you're a pet owner looking for a true 10-out-of-10 service, this is the company. Our pet sitter, Karen, was nothing short of amazing--so loving, so attentive, and so patient with our very needy black cat, Jax. She didn't just stop by; she stayed, hung out, and genuinely spent time with him. And even though our gray cat, Dolce, didn't come out very much, she was just as incredible in caring for her and making sure she felt safe and comfortable. Wow... just wow! We were floored by her love for animals. THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking such great care of the fur babies we love dearly. I would recommend this company to absolutely anyone. And honestly, anyone leaving anything less than a five-star review? Shame on you! These people love animals and treat your pets as if they were their own. Amazing, amazing, amazing! (I thought since the reviews were perfect, they might come thru... but instead... nada!) We were considering giving them a pet sitting job for over a month in length. Backstory: Ironically I believe there's someone named Shauna who operates the website and Yelp(and does a prompt job responding), but John the caretaker is the one who's phone number is associated with the biz, and he is unable to be reached to line up appointments!! (I contacted them a year or two ago when we were considering using them. We didn't end up needing them, but when we tried them last week when we finally did, John did not decide to call us back.) I'm glad others have good experiences. But that was not ours. ‍

A bit of background: My wife and I have a dog-walking business, and my wife has been in the business for almost a dozen years. When we got Sawyer, it seemed like a no-brainer that he would get everything he needed from us, and we felt he was so very lucky to be able to go out to the park every day, often all day. What we did not yet realize was that all dogs do not benefit from the same kind of park experiences and the same kind of stimulation. Over a few years, we saw Sawyer's behavior deteriorate to a point where we were spending a ton of time and attention just managing his behavior when we were out with our groups. It was so confusing and disheartening: he used to love dogs, and still had so many doggie friends! As his scraps became more common, we decided he just could not come out with us anymore. That's right, WE FIRED OUR OWN DOG. In the meantime, my wife has been expanding her skill base and learning more and more about the scientific approach to dog training. It has made a big difference in how we handle the dogs in our business, but we still found it hard to look at OUR dog's behavior and do anything about that. Typical Cobbler's Son issues! When we started looking for someone to help us with Sawyer, we literally had a city full of non-aversive trainers to choose from. My wife knew Jennifer socially, and we trusted her approach. Jennifer helped us see that the dog park was no place for Sawyer. Her skills are AMAZING. She really SEES what is going on with the dog, and can create a pattern of activity that suits him better and keeps him from "having" to do his naughty business, when he would rather avoid it. He is happier and more relaxed, in addition to thoroughly and properly stimulated, since we started using Jennifer's service and following her advice. Our time with him is so much more enjoyable.

The term "dog trainer" does not cover half of what Jennifer Joyce is or does. We call her a dog…read morechaplain. We had a extremely fear-aggressive dog who was barking, lunging, and snapping at people with hats, backpacks, and canes. Benny also was reactive to other dogs on leash and we lived on a busy city neighborhood street where you can't walk a block without running into at least one of these things. Benny bit the mailman when our neighbor buzzed him into our shared back courtyard. Things got so bad we even talked about euthanizing him. We worked with Jennifer Joyce on and off for two years. Jennifer was incredibly compassionate, caring, calm, but also firm and straight-up with us. Her one basic rule was that we always had to tell her the truth about what we were doing or not doing in terms of training exercises (which she could tell anyways based on what the dog did or didn't do). I don't know how she was as patient and non-judgmental and non-shaming as she was, given how long it took for us to "get it." Jennifer was patient and worked with us to: 1) Grieve the loss of the dog we thought we were going to have (no coffee shop hanging out, no hanging out at dog park) 2) Accept the dog we did have (loving, anxious, playful, fearful and devoted) 3) Understand the world from Benny's perspective. Benny wasn't trying to be a jerk-- Benny was deeply afraid. And our job as his guardians were to protect him. Jennifer helped us understand this, as well as give us the tools to increase Benny's sense of safety and train him to always look to us when he sees something which scares him. Fast forward to now: We are wonderfully happy family. Walks with Benny around the neighborhood have improved dramatically. Before, it had gotten to the point where we dreaded walking him. Now it is much easier and we feel a lot calmer because now we have the tools from Jennifer. We still have to be aware and make good choices, but working with Jennifer helped us build the skills and the awareness that we needed. Two years ago we couldn't imagine how we would get through one week (or sometimes even one walk), and here we are now feeling happy and much more comfortable. Now instead of being so resentful or scared about his behavior, we can really enjoy Benny as the wonderful, playful, loving dog that he is. It was incredible working with Jennifer. It changed our entire relationship with Benny, and reduced massive amounts of stress in our lives.

We hired Nate to train both of our dogs and paid over $1,000 for the program, which was a significant investment for our family. After the first private session, we were told that one of our dogs was essentially "untrainable," yet no refund or adjustment was offered for that portion of the service. That was our first concern. During the first session, I personally observed handling of my Chihuahua that, in my opinion, was unnecessarily rough and alarming. At one point, the dog was grabbed by the top of the neck and forced to the ground. I understand trainers may use different methods, but this felt excessive and inappropriate to me. Initially, we were hopeful because the first session seemed productive. Unfortunately, things declined quickly afterward. Multiple scheduled sessions were canceled or rescheduled by Nate. After the third change, I called to explain that repeated rescheduling was difficult for our family because both of us had to coordinate time away from work. I also noted that the client cancellation policy appeared much stricter than the flexibility being shown on the business side. During that phone call, Nate became hostile and used disrespectful language. We recorded the conversation after the call escalated. In my opinion, the tone and behavior were unprofessional and concerning. He also accused me of not following through with the training and claimed only my husband had been participating. That was inaccurate. I work from home and was the primary person consistently implementing the training exercises every day. We also attended a group training session where Nate brought his girlfriend along with a German Shepherd. She was never introduced, no explanation was given as to why she was there, and the situation felt awkward and unprofessional. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere for what was supposed to be a structured training environment. Most importantly, the training did not produce the results we were promised despite our consistent effort and compliance with the program instructions. I have since spoken with others who shared similar dissatisfaction, though I can only fully speak to my own experience. My advice to anyone considering group sessions is to stay afterward and speak directly with other clients about their experiences and whether the training has been effective for them. In my opinion, it is valuable to hear honest feedback from others before making further commitments. This review reflects my honest personal experience and opinions. Others may have different results, but based on our experience, I would not recommend this service. If you would like to hear the audio recording of our phone interaction, feel free to reach out to me at Rayrayforthewin66@gmail.com. I strongly encourage anyone considering hiring a trainer to research thoroughly, ask detailed questions about methods, policies, and scheduling expectations, and choose someone whose professionalism and approach make you feel confident.
