I.B. K-9 is the best experience I've ever had training with my dog. My husband and I lost our previous Mali in a tragic accident, and we ended up getting another Mali, Lucy. As you could except losing a pet is extremely hard especially in a tragic manner. This being said, i was so insanely anxious to let her out of my sight let alone board her.. after meeting the team in the evaluation, and truly seeing how kind and supportive they are with every dog, we were convinced. Lucy spent exactly 2 months with them. Kristin had EXCELLENT communication with me the entire time she was away. Not only did we get cute photos of her progress, we went in weekly (after she adapted to being there) and got to learn with her and practice with her. It is like a night and day difference. The tips they gave and the instructions were above and beyond. Lucy is one of the best trained dogs we have ever had. Best investment we have made. Not only is her training insured throughout her entire life, they offer 1-1, group classes, and fun trainings through her life span and help with different life changes that can affect behavior such as a becoming new parents. I can not recommend this place enough!!!! Thank you Jason and your team for creating a brand that truly dedicates the love and devotion and development these animals need. Lucy loves you guys!

After having a 3 month old Belgian Malinois fall into our laps we were completely overwhelmed. Three months later and our girl is turning into a wonderful little lady. Jason and Kristen and the whole team amazing. My Gemma gets so excited when we get there for training and LOVES Kristen. Gemma and I have learned so much especially how to communicate with the leash. We're so excited to see what she's capable of and know IBK9 will help her get there.

We came to IBK9 after our dog (Adderall) was struggling with reactivity toward people and dogs (especially dogs). He is an absolute love bug with his family, and his fur siblings, so we kept trying to give him more exposure thinking that would help (spoiler alert: it didn't, it made it worse). So after almost a year of trying, we decided to go the training route. I contacted IBK9 for an evaluation, and while one on one training would be an ok option, we wanted to give our boy the best we could, so we ultimately went with board and train (his trainer is Julie). It was the best decision we made for Adderall, it gave him and us the tools for success. 6 weeks post training, we can really enjoy going out with him with little to no reactions! We are still participating in group sessions and soon will be in agility classes!

I was connected with I.B. K9 originally because a dog I was fostering was extremely leash reactive. Jason was so great to work with and has continued to work with him even after he was adopted! Then after finding out we were expecting our first baby, we wanted to get some formal training for our dog, Harlow! Harlow completed their 2 week board and train with Julie and came home with more confidence and is just an overall better listener. She's much better with impulse control and I am confident that she will do great with proper boundaries around the new baby! We can't wait to continue working with them!

I meant to write this review a month ago when my lil gal completed her hybrid board and train, but I am so glad I waited because I have so many more wonderful things to say. I put my 14 week old doberman puppy in the program after speaking to Kristen extensively about the benefits. I was incredibly apprehensive, I mean trusting my pup to be out of my care for 3 nights a week pulled at my mama heart strings, but I trusted in the process and amazing things happened. My girl came home every week training with Jeremy with a growing sense of confidence. Her obedience improved weekly but the biggest benefit I still see today is the effect early socialization had on her overall temperament. She is just very balanced. After she completed board and train is where IBK9s commitment to their dogs REALLY impressed me. I was having trouble with leash pulling. The team was readily available to assess the problem offering solutions and guidance. Having ALL the trainers as a resource has made training/raising my puppy a totally different experience than in the past. I feel as though I have the support to do the best by my pup and have realized ...it is actually ME that has needed the most training. I recommend IBK9 without an ounce of hesitation. Thank you to Jeremy, Julie and Kristen, my family & I will be forever grateful for the great start and continued guidance you have given us on our puppy journey

Text messages between a client and IB K9 training staff discussing updates and requests for information about dog training programs.

I was a customer for both training and boarding starting in 2023. My dog was scheduled to board in May and I pre-paid (as required) for the stay. Unfortunately prior to boarding dates, my dog killed another pet and was rehomed under emergency circumstances. I quickly contacted IBK9 to cancel his stay and request a refund, explaining the circumstances. I was told they are not required to refund but Kristen would submit my request for review. I have spent MONTHS CHASING DOWNAN UPDATE (I've called, emailed and texted), receiving no response, delayed responses and multiple excuses/delay tactics. On July 18th Kristen texted that she would refund me 'personally' via Zelle (same day - see photo). Not only have I still not received any refund, I continue to get excuse after excuse. This is NO WAY to run a business. I understand the refund is not required but the business AGREED TO IT. I will never take other pets to the business or recommend them to anyone because of this. Verbal contracts in Arizona are binding and apparently I'll be taking them to small claims court next - this all could have been avoided if they'd kept their word.

Wish I could give 10 stars!…read more Sabrina has become a loved and trusted member of our family. She is incredible with our stubborn and goofy pitbull. From walking, to pet sitting: she is the only person we trust to care for our dogs. You can actually go on a vacation, and not worry, which is huge for us. Capable, dependable, trustworthy, and great with all animals. She truly loves and cares for them as her own.

I always worried about leaving town and could not wait to get home even though our neighbors would stop in to check on our dog while we were away. Not any more now that we can count on Sabrina. From the very beginning when she sends you the questionnaire that includes all sorts of detailed questions so that nothing will be missing in case of need to the text message she requests and responds to once you've arrived home we know that leaving our dog in her care is something we can do without the slightest concern. When we are out of town she visits twice per day, walking Chili our lab/pit girl, and even taking her to the dog park! We joke that Chili likes it when we go out of town because she enjoys her visits from Sabrina so much! Sabrina is very knowledgeable about dogs as well. When Chili developed a strange skin problem that was not responding to anything from the vet Sabrina recommended adding an item from the kitchen pantry to Chili's diet and now about 2 months later the skin problem is gone. Sabrina is absolutely reliable, extremely organized and professional, very responsive to emails and texts, and just in general is an uncommon and highly valuable resource. I just don't encounter many people out there in the world who are as reliable and committed to their work as Sabrina. When we return home from a 2+ week vacation Chili is calm and happy. Not sure what else we could hope for...other than to be able to take Chili with us everywhere. In the meantime, Sabrina is a terrific resource, and we are very thankful to have found her. Thank you, Sabrina!

First off, I'd like to say that the thought of leaving our pets at home while we went on vacation…read morewas extremely stressful. But once we met John and Shauna, the owners, we quickly realized our fur babies were in the best hands possible. They were not only warm and welcoming but also incredibly professional. If you're a pet owner looking for a true 10-out-of-10 service, this is the company. Our pet sitter, Karen, was nothing short of amazing--so loving, so attentive, and so patient with our very needy black cat, Jax. She didn't just stop by; she stayed, hung out, and genuinely spent time with him. And even though our gray cat, Dolce, didn't come out very much, she was just as incredible in caring for her and making sure she felt safe and comfortable. Wow... just wow! We were floored by her love for animals. THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking such great care of the fur babies we love dearly. I would recommend this company to absolutely anyone. And honestly, anyone leaving anything less than a five-star review? Shame on you! These people love animals and treat your pets as if they were their own. Amazing, amazing, amazing! You'll always be our go-to whenever my wife and I take a vacation.

(I thought since the reviews were perfect, they might come thru... but instead... nada!) We were considering giving them a pet sitting job for over a month in length. But unfortunately they can't be reached via the phone. I left a vm and waited an entire week and got no call back. Backstory: Ironically I believe there's someone named Shauna who operates the website and Yelp(and does a prompt job responding), but John the caretaker is the one who's phone number is associated with the biz, and he is unable to be reached to line up appointments!! (I contacted them a year or two ago when we were considering using them. We didn't end up needing them, but when we tried them last week when we finally did, John did not decide to call us back.) I'm glad others have good experiences. But that was not ours. ‍

Bill's Mutt House gets a well-deserved 5 stars from us…read more We were nervous about bringing our 13-year-old puggle, Nelson, to an overnight kennel--he's older, set in his routines, and we just wanted to be sure he'd be comfortable and cared for. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Drop-off was easy, the staff was friendly and reassuring, and it was clear they genuinely care about the dogs. Nelson did great overnight and came home happy and relaxed, which was exactly what we were hoping for. If you're on the fence about boarding, especially with a senior dog, I'd absolutely recommend Bill's Mutt House.

If I could give a review for Bill's Mutt House I would in a heartbeat! A little bit about us: we have 3 pups we adopted from a rescue almost 2 years ago, 2 littles and their mom. When we adopted them they all had some form of past trauma, but even with the challenges our pups have, I can confidently say that all the employees who work here are AMAZING with ALL dogs, even ones who need a little more TLC like ours! Our pups have never been boarded or to doggie daycare before, so naturally we were nervous about how they would do at first, but after the initial meet and greet all our worries were gone we could see right away that this place and all the people here are amazing with dogs and passionate about their work. Jonathan was the first employee we met at the meet and greet, he made the initial process easy and seamless. I really appreciate all the time he spent explaining everything in detail, answering all our questions, and bringing other dogs out slowly to get our pups adjusted and see how they did. Jonathan also gave us a tour of the yards and facility, so we got to see the kennel our pups would stay in and feel how great their AC is (which in AZ good AC for fur babies is a must have!) We knew when our nervous reserved boy Apollo attached to Jonathan right away that this was the perfect place with the perfect people While our pups were there, the employees even worked with all 3 of them on leash training and got our boy Apollo a LOT more comfortable on a leash! I was worried Apollo might not be able to work past his trauma with leashes, but having the amazing people at Bills work with him during his stay has helped him improve drastically. The rotation system they use is also wonderful, they put pups in groups that do well together to ensure all the dogs are in a group that fits their individual needs and comfort level (because like us humans, not all dogs get along with eachother ). They rotate the groups outside constantly throughout the day, so every pup gets lots of time outside in the yard to play and socialize. They made sure to put our pups with a calm group so they could ease into this new experience. Another thing I liked is that they post videos on their Instagram several times a day, so while we were out of town we were able to see our babies while they were in the yard playing and socializing I love the fact that we were able to have all 3 of our pups in the same kennel during their stay, so they could sleep together and be more comfortable. They have a wide variety of kennel sizes and can have your pups stay together or separate, depending on what they need and their size. I also really appreciate how transparent they are about their pricing, it was very reasonable and fair, plus there were no hidden fees/costs or anything that suddenly changed at pick up. It was all laid out and explained thoroughly during the meet and greet, and since we were able to have all 3 of our pups in the same kennel we were able to save a little on the daily rate! The wide range of pick up/drop off time is very convenient too. You can drop off and pick up anytime between 7AM - 9PM, which made planning our weekend trip sooooo much easier! Overall we are 1 million % happy with our experience at Bill's Mutt House! It's puppy paradise If you're on the fence about where to go and took the time to read my novel then look no further! I can confidently say beyond a shadow of a doubt that this place is the BEST place for all doggie boarding and daycare needs. Our fur babies deserve the best care, and we will only go here from now on because they are THE best! Thank you again to everyone at Bill's Mutt House, we appreciate the wonderful care you gave our pups and are excited to bring them back for more daycare and boarding visits! I know the pups are excited too The Radke Family
