My last stop before heading home. A vanilla milkshake and a fried dough w/powdered sugar softens the agony of an ending vacation.

Food ok but one of the ladies that works there is very rude. If you dont like your job you should consider getting a new one.

We tried to eat at this place today. Very rude people. They wouldn't serve us which is ok. But very rude isn't. Avoid.

Sam's has phenomenal breakfast! The people are great and the prices are fair. I recommend Sam's to anyone in the Misquamicut area.

This was my first time to The Haversham since the change of ownership. If no one told me it was…read moreunder new management, I wouldn't have known - until the menu arrived. Also, there is some additional seating (booths) available in the bar area. Still classic bar-style / feel good foods available. I had the Philly Steak sandwich with waffle fries. It was a great choice. Our other dining partner had the Fish and Chips and it was gone before i could ask how it was. Another had a burger which was ordered as medium rare but came out medium (hence the 4 stars vs 5). We did not return it as the difference was subtle. The waiter did ask how our food was and we opted not to mention it. Overall, the portions were average, the prices were very good, the quality (taste) was also very good. What I loved the most was that although the place was packed, the acoustics were exceptional. We sat in the bar area and there was no need to lean in to converse. No shouting. Just your natural voice level was enough. To me - that's a huge win!

We got take out which automatically lowers expectations but of 5 orders, we were missing 4 sides: 2 Cole slaw, 1 fries, and a Caesar salad. Pretty disappointing. Additionally, literally everything was oversalted, per everyone's taste buds. We ordered 2 cold and 1 hot lobster rolls, 1 stuffed shrimp, 1 pork cutlet, and 1 lobster bisque. The buns for the lobster rolls were nice but not grilled. The pork cutlet was covered with hot peppers, advertised for sure as cherry peppers, but if you don't like very spicey, avoid this entree. The Haversham has a good bar scene and may have good bar food but entrees are priced on the higher side and they need to get the salt and service issues under control!

Our server was Ricardo and he was excellent. The most serene water view from our table added to the ambience. The summer campanelle and the Italian sausage rigatoni were perfect. The chocolate torte and the panna cotta were perfect. The drinks such as the Weekapaug sunrise were perfect. Definitely a place to come back to again and again.

We had a lovely dinner here three years ago, What a shocking disappointment on our return trip…read moretonight. The restaurant and the entire property are beautiful. And our waiter Iggy was a delightful and attentive server. My wife's sea bass was delicious. And I have little else to say that's positive. I had the toro appetizer. It was tough, chewy, and drowned in so much marinade you couldn't taste anything else. I honestly didn't know toro could even be chewy. Sent back the first order thinking it was cut wrong. Second was just as bad. And they didn't take it off the check. Lobster pappardelle was nearly flavorless -- void of seasoning -- and I needed a magnifying glass to find the lobster in this dish. There were numerous service mistakes that I won't detail here. Suffice to say it feels like nobody is managing the dining experience. I've had better service in most diners than we had here. With so many great restaurants in the area, you'd be better off driving by, taking some pictures, and going almost anywhere else. (Try Ella's. It's a gem.) Believe the one-star reviews posted here. I'd do the same if not for our excellent server and my wife's entree. But we left wishing we'd just ordered a pizza.

On the bright side, the kids were thrilled with their Mac & Cheese -- it's hard to go wrong with a classic like that! We also tried the CFC and the Alabama Slammer Burger; both hit the spot, but didn't exactly knock our socks off. The atmosphere was lively and fun, thanks to the DJ and karaoke, though it did get a touch too loud for my liking -- maybe I'm just nostalgic for a quieter supper! Our server, however, was a gem -- friendly, attentive, and quick with a smile. All in all, a pleasant spot if you're after a good time and a decent meal -- just don't expect culinary fireworks.

The meat was tender and not fatty, perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Loved the marbled bread. The fries were ok but nothing special or memorable. They are fries. I asked my server for their opinion on a few drinks and they said go with the bad blood tini. It was seriously dangerous.....light, refreshing, icy cold, and damn delicious! Highly recommend it! Watch Hill lighthouse, East beach and the Watch Hill Carousel aren't that far if you are looking for a day trip this summer. Stop here before or afterwards!
