The buttons had fallen out, it was cracked, and it was long overdue for retirement. The dealership would have charged me an arm and a leg and probably my whole salary but Busy Bees saved me big time! Travis cut and programmed my replacement car key on the spot. He was super friendly, personable, and a great conversationalist. I was in and out in about 15 to 20 minutes. Luckily, I was the first one there with no appointment. So no wait! Woot! They also have multiple locations and their hours vary so check out their website for the details. And it involves a locksmith who can cut the key and program the remote control to work with my specific vehicle. So I submitted a request on Yelp and got responses from several locksmiths including Continental locks. The price they quoted was about the lowest I received, around $200. And the locksmith was available to come out the same day so I went ahead and took a chance. Very glad I did! He worked very carefully for about 45 minutes or so and got a brand new key fob and spare door key cut that work perfectly in my vehicle. No more worrying about losing the original key fob!
