What an amazing guy, before you buy any fobs for your new car stop by here! He was able to cut a new key and program my fob in less than 30 minutes. I called the number on the building, the owner let me know he would be there in 20 min, he was there in 15 and had be on my way with a new programmed Nissan Altima key and cut the valet key for me as well. Way less expensive than the 'stealership :-) and he is super nice too! The little building in located in a great spot within a large parking lot. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Super happy with the level of service provided; he has many blank vehicle specific Fobs on site with a wide range of keys. My car is a Nissan Altima hybrid and I thought for sure for a 2010 he wouldn't have the fob, I was pleasantly surprised. I was on my way to pick up lunch when I noticed people standing outside this kiosk. I thought great let me see if this man could get me a key fob that would work with my base model vehicle. There were a few people standing in line so he told me to wait for 20 minutes. I was waiting outside and talking to his customers and they assured me he did good work. Once he finished up with three small groups of customers he asked what I needed. I told him I wanted a key fob that could work with my electric locks since I was told only standard keys worked with my base model vehicle. Also, I told him I went to other locksmiths that told me getting a key fob for my car was impossible. Sam guaranteed me he could get me a key fob and it wouldn't take much time for him to fix it. He asked for my car keys and began plugging iPad readers into my car to read codes and see if he could fix it. After about 30 minutes I realized he was taking way longer than he did with the other customers. So I asked him if there was a problem and he said give him time. After about an hour I realized something was wrong. He came to me and told me he couldn't fix it and demanded I pay him. I told him I wouldn't pay him when all he did was look at the car. He became irate and started cursing at me and yelling obscenities in the parking lot. I took my keys and tried to leave. When I put my keys into my car the doors wouldn't unlock. Sam did something to lock me out of my car. I told him to open my doors and fix my car immediately. He couldn't open the door with the key so he broke into the window with an inflatable wedge. My car doors were uneven and wouldn't close properly after that.Then I tried to turn my car on and it wouldn't start. He plugged his iPads into my car and started the car. After all that I told him he was unethical and tries to prey on women of color. Do you know this man was still cursing at me as I was trying to leave out of there with a swiftness. I'm still flabbergasted how he started out trying to be nice but ended up being a scammer businessman. If I could give 0 stars I would.Now I have to get my car fixed by professionals because every time I turn my car on it lags and sometimes won't start. Sam's Locksmith. After calling and texting Sam, I went to Sam's kiosk in Mira Mesa to get a new key cut for my 2013 Ford F-150. My spare key had stopped working. Sam diagnosed the problem. He tried to fix my old spare key by putting a transponder chip in it. This did not work, so he replaced my key at a very good price compared to what others wanted in the area. He was very honest, knowledgeable and professional. After programming the new key it worked perfectly! Sam worked after hours to get me on my way.
