This is the only place I found that is a physical locksmith store. They were willing to copy self provided key blanks - ie Yale key blanks for my Nest x Yale lock. They only charged $3 to copy a key - but I did provide the Yale key blanks. Very nice store clerks also. Hope this place stays open for many more years to come as I plan on coming back when needed. read more

Service is amazing. They answered the phone right away and said they could do our specialized key. The prices are also very, very good. We give them five stars. read more

These are my go to people I've personally known them for years. They are fast and expert and friendly.

They were incredibly nice and professional. Cody helped fix our Baldwin Lock. We had gone with an inexpensive locksmith to change the keys to our house and they ended up breaking the lock somehow. Would definitely recommend going with A Advanced for all type of help. They knew the issue over the phone, verified they could do the job with photos, and gave us an idea on a quote. Very honest and straightforward. read more

Very helpful and gave detailed information on how to maintain door lock. I would highly recommend

Quick service in person. Key copying, locks, safes. They have a great shot for on-site help. Did not use their services otherwise. Recommend, making this review so I can remind myself where to come back or call in a pinch. Add to favorites. read more

Douglas was a big help in getting my locks sorted out. I'd recommend him and his team to anyone looking to get out of a pickle! 5 starts

A modern day AND old-school locksmith all in one. I had a somewhat complicated project regarding an old camper trailer door lock and these guys figured it out. They are totally worth a try for any challenging situation. I had to use them about 10 years ago and kept their card. The reviews are legit and why I am also leaving a five star. read more

Competence. Communication. Caring about doing a good job. These are the guys at AAL, like Doug, who are quick and efficient and do a quality control check with you. I had a couple of keys from a vintage Porsche that needed copying, and Doug was sure to check the fitment and working state, particularly since there was some ambiguity about one of the keys. Doug came out to ensure the keys worked - and made some suggestions on keeping the locks working well. read more

Great customer service and the employees are really nice. Had an issue with our personal safe - battery died and we lost the key, called several business and they were all just pricey, with the simple issue I have. Anyways A-Advanced locksmiths was able to resolved my issue at a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend this business. read more

These folks are awesome, use them all the time in my business. I highly recommend them.

This is our go to locksmith. I have stressful days and Cody was so patient and understanding of my frustration and took the time to educate me on the lock. Great Company! read more

I went to Home Depot, then Busy Bees Locksmith and then called 3 places. This place was the only one that could made copies of a keys for me that were worn out. Home Depot didn't even try because their computer couldn't find the pattern. Busy Bee tried twice and they key failed. This place just rocked. I came back 2 days later and made another "difficult to make" key. These people were quick, courteous, and had reasonable prices. They are a little hidden off the main road but they are worth the trip if u have a difficult key to make. read more

Same-day service and they replaced an old lockset on one door plus rekeyed another door. Fantastic customer service and kept me informed throughout the process. Very happy. My tech was Nick and he was polite and answered any questions I had; couldn't be happier. Keys were labeled and he cleaned up from the debris. Highly recommend! read more

After contacting about six locksmiths, I was referred to A-Advanced. Worth the search. Seems a sliding glass door lock in an older manufactured home is a bit of a challenge. BUT, Jim was able to fix it readily and for a very fair price. He was very knowledgeable and was able to fix it without replacing the entire door ( a very real possibility). Plus he graciously made me several additional keys. I will call them for all my future security needs. read more

These guys are great. Price, value selection, nobody even comes close. They keyed our entire office and gave us a breakdown of how things were done. Would use them again for sure. read more

It's a late post but I just wanted to get a shout out for Carlos for helping me out unlocking my car and for great customer service!! I recommend this business and if I ever get locked out of my car I will call them back! read more

I was trying to get some SLAGE keys copied for a condo in downtown San Diego. I tried several other places who didn't handle this kind of key because of the cost of the blank keys. Kevin had the blanks in stock and was able to make me 2 sets of keys in less than 5 minutes. What a refreshing way to be treated as a customer. I'll be going back with other key needs. They aren't easy to find - but well worth finding. read more

I am having my 2nd Lexus key cut at this shop, they have the best prices in town and I am always satisfied with their work. Thanks, A-Advanced Locksmith !! Great customer service!! The electronic portion of my car key was not working. I walked in just before closing at 4:25. Carlos was very helpful and knowledgeable. He swapped out my key, re-programmed it and I was gone by 4:35. I will definitely use their services in the future read more

A-Advanced went above and beyond my expectations. Aaron came out and was super nice and efficient. We have a multi-unit and multiple sets of keys that correspond to different doors (we want to be able to provide access for our nanny but don't want to re-key all the locks if she leaves). Aaron was great about understanding what we were asking for and making the changes. He even identified that one of our gate doors was missing some of his pins - since he didn't have the pins in his van, he came back and fixed it later - gratis! I really appreciated the additional service they offered and would definitely use and recommend them again. read more

Nestor came out, was prompt and professional. Follow up was excellent and they went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of.

Not a lot of employee turn over - that says a lot. Over the years, Ive gotten prompt and courteous service ranging from the new hire who isn't afraid to learn, to the owner who will answer the phone on weekends. I'm sorry I don't remember all your names ... you are all A#1! I've used this shop mainly for residential door locks and motorcycle and auto keys. They are always ready to go the extra mile to help me even though I am a small customer. Very reliable and professional. read more

Aaron was very nice, quick, and attentive. I highly recommend A-Advanced Locksmiths' services. Thank you, Aaron!

Could not have been more pleased with the service Carlos provided today. Sheriff eviction lockout with an uncooperative tenant inside. Carlos calmly drilled the lock with the tenant directly on the other side of the door. Fortunately the tenant left without incident, but this is as dangerous as it gets for someone in this profession. Carlos has nerves of steel. Friendly and professional. A-Advance and Carlos have earned my business for life! read more

I inherited a gun safe from my uncle and Kevin was able to re-install the combination lock that my aunt had had "broken into" by another locksmith in northern California. I had called another locksmith and sight unseen they wanted a $150 call out charge (mobile service only) with a grand total of almost $300 to install the new lock. Kevin and A-Advanced Locksmiths were very professional and courteous and had the work done in a couple of hours. Price was 1/5th of what the other locksmith wanted too! Thanks! Wilbur read more

HUGE THANK YOU to Cody - who showed up on site within 10 minutes of my calling on a Sunday evening - to help out a new neighbor in my complex who accidentally got locked out of their apartment - I'm new to San Diego, as well, and A-Advanced Locksmiths will get my business. I called these guys after my car was stolen with a set of house keys in it. I was extremely anxious so they made room in their schedule for me and were at my home within an hour. Cody was quick and professional changing 9 locks for me in a snap. THANKS A-Advanced. read more

Unbelievably rude! The two times I have spoken to someone here they have have been rude and demanding. Not at all helpful or courteous. I would take my chances with a randon locksmith from the yellow pages any day rather than put up with an attitude on the other end of the phone. Especially when I am paying good money for their services. It's called Customer Service for a reason! read more

I called A-Advanced because they are two blocks from my work and I locked my keys in the car. They were very nice and showed up quickly, but seriously, $65 for a 2 min drive and a 1 min unlocking? Seems pretty steep but whatcha going to do? I like to support local businesses but sheesh, that's pricey. read more
