My office recently installed a lock box and needed duplicate keys made. The manufacturer said the keys were unique and we could only order one for $35. That's almost the cost of the box itself! I initially tried going to Home Depot but they referred to me Accurate Security Pros. Right away I was greeted promptly and they were more than happy to assist me. 3 employees actually tried to help because while one was on the computer looking up the type of key needed, the other 2 were looking for the key on the wall to cut. Due to the uniqueness of the key they suggested that I remove the lock and bring it for them to cut. Before leaving they showed me an example of how the lock might be installed and how to remove it. I returned a few minutes after and they were able to cut the keys using the lock and original key I brought in. Unfortunately only 1 of 5 duplicate keys worked. Surprisingly, the digital lock on my home Safe malfunctioned. Being within warranty, my safe company sent a new lock to Accurate Security Pros to be installed. My girlfriend and I had just purchased a house, and needed to get 4 of our locks re-keyed. We initially went to Home Depot but quickly found out that they were unable to do this service. They recommended us to this place. We walked in and were greeted by an employee who walked over to the counter. We had 3 locks and 2 keys that needed to be changed. We were quoted at 20 dollars a lock and 3 dollars per key. He told us it would just take 30 minutes. After a quick walk to Trader Joe's, we headed back, they weren't quite finished but shortly after a second employee came out with our locks. He was super friendly and humorous which made the transaction more fun. The original employee was awesome and hooked us up a bit. He also explained the digital locking systems to us in better detail, as we were quite interested. Awesome customer service! Truly a mixed experience with this company. We rented a house that had an old alarm that was malfunctioning and they were awesome abut coming over and replacing it. They also offered a discount for setting up new service, even though we made it clear we did not own the house and were not sure how long we would be staying there. Unfortunately after we moved (I think it was over a year after the alarm was fixed) every time we called to cancel the service they asked us to call back at another time because they were busy or it was the weekend. Well for a security company to have odd hours when they are willing to discontinue your service makes me wonder a little about what if something were to happen at the wrong time of the night. Anyway long story short they kept not canceling our service and finally cancelled it 2 months after we moved out and insisted that we pay for 2 months of monitoring when the house was empty and the security system turned off. I wanted to go with a local business but can't help thinking that ADT or something that allows you to cancel your service online would have been more convenient and ultimately saved us the money after we moved out. read more

A friend gave me an old-style car Club to use after my van got stolen and was subsequently recovered. This was great, but the Club only had one key. With two drivers, this was a problem and we each needed to have our own key sets. After going to several other shops, Accurate Security Pros was the only one that had the correct blank. It wasn't a straight match, so they spent 20 minutes working on the new key, (a $6.00 item!) until it worked. I don't usually go out of the way to get keys made/duplicated, but when I do I just go here. One reason is because I just started to purchase custom designed blank keys made by various brands that I support and noticed that "home depot" couldn't make my keys with the custom blanks for some reason. I think the blanks didn't fit completely in their machine. Also, it took a while to find the designated person who does the service. Anyways, I buy keys here and there online every other year when I spot a cool key I would like to rock on my carabiner. I've only been here two times so far because that's all the service that I needed this far for my carabiner/keys set up. The workers there are friendly and can inform you about the different types of keys ways/sequences so you will know which keys can be made for which when you buy blank sequenced keys the second time around. Also, they have a lifetime warranty on "bought" blanks keys that you can buy directly from them if the key doesn't match up correctly for your door, just bring it back and they can rehook you up again. Though they did good key cuts for both my visits, so I think that won't even be an issue for the most part. read more

We recently had a break in at our business, which is monitored by Accurate Security. The alarm was tripped, and the police were dispatched, limiting our losses. The following Monday we called Accurate to come out to improve our physical security. They responded within two hours of the call. I needed a simple access control system and 12 cameras. when the technician arrived he explained about the new technology that was available and with that I would only need 6 cameras to see all that need to see and more... These cameras are phenomenal!!! it's like having dial-up Internet all of your life and then discovering T-1. What a difference!He also showed me how simple it was to get into my house, needless to say, they will be my choice when it is time to put in my alarm system. OH! I almost forgot, with a regular key ( not my key ) in 12 seconds he was able to get into my house ((( wow ))) he showed me these High security locks that would prevent anyone from getting in and anyone from copying the key. I must say that this guy was very knowledgeable and helpful, I was very IMPRESSED. 5 STARS. I had another company come out and give me a quote for the cameras and I tell you what, They said that I should consider 3 more cameras for the best coverage at an additional $600 each.
