I've noticed that Sam's Club is way more efficient with how they do things. It's also not as busy as provos Costco which is just packed and awful. Lines are super slow. The prices in Sam club are starting to be cheaper then costcos as well. The only issue I have with Sam club is the fact their food court is mid. The food is not as good. Clean, well stocked, and friendly employees. They have a very large snack selection with great options. They also have a lot of frozen chicken options and great seafood selection as well. For whatever reason the app doesn't allow you to order a large pizza here. At all hours of the day and everyday it says it's sold out but if you go to the counter and wait in line they will take your order. The reason I use Sam's club is because of the app and ease of use, I don't have to talk to anyone but for whatever reason getting a pizza here requires you to wait in line, speak to an employee and then use a PHYSICAL DEBIT CARD like we're in the 90's again. This Sam's has polish, I wouldn't go there later in the afternoon like me, I found out it's much better to get there around noon time or close to it. They tend to overcook the living daylights out of their dogs. I found that out several times when I got there around 4 and later in the afternoon, they've overcooked it so much there's no longer a snap to the skin but mushy skin that falls apart. The Dr. Pepper from the fountain tastes like diet soda of some sort was mixed with the wrong syrup. I also drop by occasionally for their chocolate frozen yogurt, I just stick a couple straws in it and drink it as it melts, but during the hot weather days the machines are often down because of overheating.... go figure. read more

We stopped in to have our tire pressure checked. We live in Nevada and something seemed off in the drive in. The gentleman that helped us was so helpful. Filled up here 3x during our visit to Utah This Sam's Club location was about three miles from where we were staying for the weekend. We did not purchase anything inside the store. We came here to fill up on gas. It was the cheapest gas around at $1.89/gal although all the gas stations we came across in Provo were already relatively cheap. As soon as a customer finishes filling up at the gas pump an attendant comes and wipes and sanitizes the touch pad screen and button displays and also the pump nozzle before another customer pulls up to use it. She is fast and observant paying attention to all cars that drives up. She wears a mask. It's one of the steps the store is taking in response to COVID-19. This location is easy access. The customer service here is fantastic, the variety of products with their prices and deals are unmatched, and can I just say... THEY BROUGHT BACK SAMPLES! Ah yes, samples. The only true reason anybody owns a membership to Sam's Club. After COVID hit, we haven't had samples for quite a while. Here's a true sign that things are slowly returning to normal. They keep this place pretty clean and tidy. Once in a while, things will get moved around the store which is a bit annoying, but you get used to it once you embrace the inevitable truth that you will zigzag down each aisle anyway, just "browsing". Uh huh, sure you're just perusing, Susan. I'm positive the reason you came to the store was to buy all those chips and candies. But I'm not judging. My husband and I got a membership here in January and have had a wonderful experience! Sam's club has what we need in bulk in an organized fashion, and has a delicious food court. I crave that frozen yogurt and a good pretzel! We will continue to give our business to this store! read more

Got a membership deal last year. Decided to renew. Prices better than the competitors, bakery items include croissants and pies, good selection of box warehouse items. Recently remodeled store. Much easier to maneuver. On this particular occasion was frustrated with the food court. Stood on line for berry sundaes only to find out that it would be 20 minutes before the frozen yogurt machine had set up the yogurt. Decided it would be worth the wait, had a slice of pizza while waiting and returned to the line 20 minutes later. Three customers received their Sundaes before again, the machine ran out of frozen yogurt ice cream mix. Cashier was extremely rude. Instead of proffering an apology or politely explaining what had happened he flippantly said "we can't do that" when The next customer in line placed their Sundae order. Pizza was incredibly greasy and marginal at best. Lack of preparation to have enough Sundae mix available on a hot weather day like today combined with lousy customer service affected the overall rating on this review read more

I was disappointed in the bakery for the way they decorated my daughters cake. It simply wasn't written pretty enough. Like some guy in the back stocking shelves came in to help on bakery and they handed him a tube of icing to write happy birthday..it just looked bad. I was really sad, could not take the cake to the party and present it to daughter--it looked like I wrote it even! I let someone up front know I was disappointed in how it turned out. I told Them I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. They assured me it would improve their bakery by giving the feedback. They brought me a new caked with it beautifully decorated AND for all the hassle, they comped not only the cake but my entire basket of groceries!! wow!!!talk about trying to make it right! This was a convenient stop at this Sam's Club as I was driving by and needed a few items. This was on a Saturday, late morning, and it was not very busy. I found the items I needed (and a few more, as typical with these stores)and I moved onto the check-out area. There were only two registers open but after standing in line for a few minutes, a very nice lady came along and opened a third. She and another lady moved my cart full of items through very quickly. I was pushing my cart through the parking lot before I knew it. The store was clean and all of the folks were very friendly. You had your typical sample stations throughout the store that attract people like vultures circling a carcass. They always have to put sample stations in the most inconvenient locations. After encountering and working my way through the feeding frenzies unscathed, I reflect on my experience and found it mostly pleasurable. This is the closest Sam's Club to where I live so I'm sure I'll be stopped back on my next trip through. read more

I would rather go to this Sam's than either of the near Coscto's for a couple reasons. #1, the lines: Costco is nice but I hate the super long check out lines. Generally not at Sam's. #2, The Bakery items at Sam's are much tastier in my opinion, don't know why but they are to me. #3, Sam's usually has everything I go to pick up. Costco likes the bate and rotate game. Moving stuff all around to make you wander the store more and changing up items because it's "seasonal" or what ever. Only down fall of Sam's, having plenty of great staff. At check outs or help when needed and to keep items stocked as they run out. You can generally see the back stock on the upper shelf but no one to refill it. I do 95% of my shopping here, they have a great selection. read more

I went to have my tires inspected at sam's club tire center in provo ut. One of the technicians broke my parking brake. I immediately went back in to ask them about what happened. Another technician recommended I bring an invoice to their manager, and they may be able to help with the repair costs. I bought the tires the next day trusting that they would do what they could to help me pay for the brake repairs. When I brought the repair invoice in, the tire center manager berated me in front of other customers. He accused me of lying, and said I changed my story. It was the most aggravating and embarrasing experience I've ever had in a retail establishment. The general manager had to come over to cool things down. He promised he would help me out somehow, however that seems to have been a lie as well. It's been weeks and no matter how much I follow up...nothing. DO NOT BUY TIRES HERE!! GO TO COSTCO! They have better trained, and more polite technicians, and better prices on higher quality tires. read more

Took a week to get an appointment to get the "free" tire rotation and when my wife went in they told her that they could not do it because the alignment was "bad." Had the alignment checked and everything was perfect. When I went back to Sam's they still would not rotate because one of the front tires had "uneven tire wear." Even though the tire had plenty of tread left. I cancelled my Sam's Business membership and went to Costco. read more

Watch out, You Are in DANGER the minute you enter the parking lot at any Sam's Club or Walmart. Lawyers agree, "Walmart lawsuits arising from personal injury or workers' compensation claims are a nightmare. It is notoriously difficult to pursue legal action against any large, corporate entity, and Walmart is no exception. Walmart has practically unlimited resources to vigorously defend legal claims against them." My wife sliced an arm open on a DISPLAY box because it WAS LEFT WITH RAZOR SHARP EDGES. They claim it's the problem of the manufacturer, and told me I would have to contact the manufacturer. They panicked, gave her paper towels from the meat department, of all places, instead of a sterile gauze wrap to stop the bleeding, and scooted her out the door bleeding. They were far more worried about the cleanup and the commotion among customers and employees than the injured customer.. Two weeks later they had to open the cut back up because it was infected. I think it was the germs left on the paper towels. We were promised three times by managers "of the day" they would pay for our deductible losses. After three visits to the club to get a promised check for a lousy $202.63 They casually referred me to the box manufacturer who just happens to be in CHINA. The jokes on me, I asked them for a lousy $202.62 today, and they refer me to China. Know just how safe you are when you cross the sidewalk and find yourself in a Sam's Club or Walmart parking lot. read more

Well it's a Sams. You'll find things that you never see anywhere except maybe Costco. Everything is huge. Want a cake? Your cake is the size of a small table. Want some bread, you must buy two loaves. Want some window spray, you get a gallon. My only complaint is the checkout line. I hate trying to pick the best line when it's busy. read more

I love the fact that I can walk in. Use my phone to scan my items and pay then walk out without waiting in any lines. I've almost quit going to Costco for that reason alone. The scan and go app is the best thing since sliced bread. Plus they have self check out too if I forget my phone. read more

I have never had any issues at the Provo Sams Club, but this morning I had the worst service ever at the gas pump. It was early morning and nobody was there so I pulled into get some gas. I started to fill up and the gas attendant came and yelled at me saying I had pulled int he wrong way and that I needed to stop and go around the other way. I asked him if he wanted me to stop filling up and pull around. Then he went on a rant how Costco would never put up with that and would just shut me off. I tried to apologize and let him know that int he future I would not pull in the wrong way and he continued to give me attitude. I will never go back to that sams club again after the way I was treated this morning. read more

Went in the beginning of the month bought apple juice for grandchildren go to open 1 of the large bottles only to find the cap loose but seal not broke. Then I notice the mold floating on top is this the quality we should expect from Members Mark products? I do have photos. My oldest grandchild here is 4 and not strong enough to turn the cap on an unopened bottle of apple juice so I know it happened in the store or was never tightened enough. Step up and check your products on the shelf I do need to hear about tampering and poisonings because you do not check products that can be tampered with. read more

Like any other Sams club, you can find whatever you need. Unlike every other Sams club, the customer service is not that great. I am not sure what happened with another customer, but it sounded like he was borrowing the membership card from the person in front of him. (The gentleman was pretty nice and sounded genuine). The cashier didn't seem very upset, but sounded like she wanted all of Sams to know the situation. Her reaction was what made the situation bad. The older gentleman said he must had forgotten his back home and it didn't seem like a big deal. The lady that had given him the card was harshly warned about doing it again and the older gentleman suffered the great embarrassment of sounding like a cheater or thief. Maybe it was just that one cashier, but if she's allowed (or given the blind eye) then what can we expect from the rest of the employees? A good store for bulk items. Theres a gas station, pharmacy, tire repair, photo center and a food court. The only problem is theres only. ever 4 check out lines open and since Theres always a crowd, it takes 10-15 minutes just to check out. The food court takes forever too, most of the time it seems like the employees dont know what theyre doing so it takes even longer. Tire department review - I pulled up to the store as the tire center was getting ready to close. Steffan realized that a tire sensor light on my van was enough to keep me from safely traveling home to St. George (350mi's). All I asked for was a tire gauge to check them, he reopened and had me pull my van in. Then, he started up their air compressor again...it was 4 minutes to closing time....and fixed the tire pressure issue. He was AMAZING. I had a really bad experience with Sam's Club that I thought I should share. Three weeks ago Sam's Club had a one day sale and listed a Monster Rockin Roller 3 speaker for $129.00. I send someone to purchase the speaker first thing Saturday morning and they accidentally ended up buying the Monster Rockin Roller mini. When I noticed the error we called customer service and spend 45 minutes on the phone with a rep. by this time they had sold out of the MRR3 so I was told by the rep that they would honor the price when they got more MRR3 speakers in. I was specifically told that the rep added notes to our membership profile and the managers would get an alert/email when the speaker came in and they would call me to let me know. While shopping at Sam's Club today we noticed that they had the speakers in. (no phone call from Sam's Club) we spoke with the manager of the Electronics department who was not helpful at all. He told us that they never makes notes on members accounts and they would never notify a customer when a product came in. He also said that it was a one day sale and they have never honored the price for a one day sale. I honestly don't need the speaker and its only a matter of saving $50.00. Its the fact that I spent 45 minutes on a call with a rep that told me I would be notified and the price would be honored that makes me upset. Also the fact that the electronics manager wouldn't even try to understand the situation and work with us. I hope Sam's Club management reads their reviews and provides training based on their feedback. Had the initial rep told me there was nothing they could do, I could have lived with that.
