I have been a plus member for years and enjoy the experience immensely. Either shopping in person, or driving for a pickup it's always an easy and pleasant experience. There is a large variety of essentials and services available at fabulous prices and the customer service is very helpful in this store too. I have even done delivery to my home which is the very best in the area and I've never had any issues at all even when I have ordered large quantities or heavy items. They have so much to offer from Tire and automotive services, Optical and hearing, wireless phone services, pharmacy and custom cakes! They have gas at fabulous prices and so much more. Of course they have groceries and appliances, clothing, jewelry and toys, pet care personal care and beauty, sports and fitness, office supplies, books, restaurant supplies, flowers , gifts, supplies for business, there is so much I know when I need things of importance this is my go to place. Computer's, headphones, need I say more every time I come to Sam's Club I know I made the right choice and I got really good values. Sam's Club is your one stop shop for pretty much everything! I haven't been inside a Sam's Club for several years, probably 7 or 8 years, ever since I moved where there was a Costco. After my first Costco trip I immediately gave up my Sam's membership and hadn't been back until now. I'm visiting a friend in Ocala who only has a Sam's Club membership, not Costco. And the nearest Costco is a 40 minute drive. So I came here with her today. As soon as I walked in the store I thought, "Just an oversized Walmart." The store was clean and orderly but this visit reminded me of everything I like about Costco. I will say the Scan and Go option on the app is very convenient. read more

Ordered tires, scheduled appointment for installation. They knew I was there before I got to the counter! To say they're on their game is an understatement. James handled every issue that arose with professionalism and very polite! Zachary was also helpful with follow ups. At the end of the day, they did a great job. They both went above and beyond! read more

We needed to use a flatbed cart last visit, 1st time, and it was very difficult to handle. Looked at the wheels and saw no tread on 3 wheels and mangled tread on the fourth wheel. Sadly neglected. I need to return a mistaken delivery item..took 45 minutes!! Stood in line 15 min. waiting for 2 customers to solve problems. They only had 2 employees for customer service desk. Extremely frustrating ordeal for a simple return. Gonna try a different club. read more

Yea was the worst time getting unloaded people just be talking in back not working ...been here at 7am and still not unloaded at 9...and truly only takes 30 minutes to unload a truck so you tell me what's going on... read more

Have a serious hiring discrimination problem....I have three immutable traits that make it ILLEGAL for them to discriminate against me age, race and gender, but, they allow their hiring managers to ignore that. You get told by the interviewer usually a team lead that they are passing you along for approval to hire to the hiring manager, the hiring manager then declines your application. The majority of the employees at this location do not look like me and they make sure that they keep it that way. read more

It is a dump! I took my car through their car wash and they sprayed cheap yellow wax on my black car. Simple wax remover would not help because this crap was all over the car. It ran and created yellow streaks. I had to purchase a spray on wax remover to get rid of this crap. It costs big bucks to make my car look OK. WHY does Sam's Club put up with this BOZO? This dude is out to steal your money! read more

Well, sorry to say, not really good at all these days. We were once loyal Sam's Club members. Going there for everything. The people in general ( the staff ) started to change. The store , looking trashy, running out of items and don't know anything about where or when because you cannot communicate with them Or they cannot communicate. First, staff was rude to me. Then they were rude to my wife. But when they stoped me at the door. Acting like I stole something. Asking me if my receipt was fake....... That was it.... I had to tell that jackass, you have 30seconds to figure it out. I'm past the point of payment. After we just spent 800$. No way. So, don't waste your time with lowlifes that act like that. If we were dirty or looked a certain way. I could understand a little flack. But, Polo shirt, jeans, sperrys, gold chain , watch. Na , I can't see it........wake up Sams. You will loose it all if that's the best you can do. Needless to say, we don't shop there anymore. If we do, it's rare. read more

Miss Brenda was so very kind at the customer service desk while she directed us where to pay for our Sam's Club membership renewal. While there was a long line to be waited on, she remained kind and courteous to each customer and made the line move as quickly as possible. Very much appreciated! :) read more

It's not your standard Sam's Club! Great selection with competitive prices. The parking lot is probably the worst part of it though, and we've never been able to stomach the line at the gas station. But the store is fantastic. Very clean and stocked shelves. Using the app on our phones, we can fill our cart and check out without having to wait in line. read more

Good prices and services staff are very nice. A lot speaks spanish. Love to buy there. The staff are the petroleum pumps are incredibly helpers. read more

Im not surprised to see a 2+ for this place. They are pitifully slow, even during the off hours. The prices are not all that great and so far Im disappointed by the quality of almost everything I've bought of their own brand & have returned about half. It's worth the drive to Orlando for Costco if you really want to shop. read more

The lines in this place are ridiculous. The staff don't seem to care. The line for the customer service has 30 people in it at any given time and you can count on standing in it for 45 minutes. They can't use common sense and make a different line for returns then there is for getting credit cards and picking up your products and obtaining new or continued membership services so they lump everybody together in one line at which time everybody stands there and waits and waits and waits. They easily can tell that Saturdays are very busy in this location but rather than bring on extra staff they just make everybody stand around and wait The inside is just the same as every other Sam's Club it's not better, it's not worse. The prices on somethings are better than the store, the prices on other things are not. You would think that if you're paying to shop at this place they would hire enough people to handle the business that they have but clearly that's not the case. You know there's a reason when a place gets two stars and their history shows the truth here. read more

I like this Sam's club but disappointed by this incident. One week ago I purchased a box of blackberry which turned out to have mold covering 80% of the fruits. I threw away the box but saved the receipt. Today I was told by the cashier that I could get a refund from the membership service desk. After a long wait I was told "No, you need to bring the fruits". I think most working people come to Sam's club on the weekends and most people don't save any rotten food for a week for refund purposes. I don't know if this is the policy here? So please keep this in mind when you shop here. read more

Sam's Club - The unhappy rotten blackberry - Tires Near Me - Ocala, Florida

Always will be a fan of Sam's Great selection of everything & then some. Every day Big ass rotisserie chickens under $ 5.00. Great prices on automotive services, tires etc.., Great prices in their optical department. Consistency whether I shop Sam's Ocala FL, , Lady Lake or Scarborough Maine. I also wish Costco was nearby. read more

I'm glad that Ocala has Sams but I'd much prefer Costco. Food: dry goods, not the brands I like best, frozen selections are more sports bar type offerings, fresh produce is passable. Rotisserie chicken very disappointing. Meats... hit or miss. Bakery- sad. Did I mention I really miss Costco? Better brands, much more extensive selections, rotisserie chicken to die for. Apple pie like heaven. Now I'm really bummed out. Sam's- Toilet paper and paper towels are good. read more

I mean can you really beat Sams Club $1.50 all beef hot dog?!? Fresh & fast! I know you were probably expecting a review on the store itself, but I really love Sams Club cafe area. Cheap snacks to get you by! Makes the membership worth it read more

This is a great "stock up" store. The C/S staff was thorough & patient. Once you're all set, get there at "off" hours to avoid the cart crushing crowds! Save on most items including gas. read more

Admit it-you know you aspire to be but will never be Costco. This is Walmart on steroids, after all. What could you possibly expect? These crappy stores have beat us into submission. We have reached the point where we allow bad service to continue and call mediocre service great. Sam's fits nicely into the niche of selling you more than you need for a price that's slightly below, the same, or higher than other stores. We drive further to get here which increases our costs and we pay membership fees, all for the right to stand in line on the way out to prove we purchased all the things in our carts. That's a good thing with the thieves I've seen in these stores. Try contacting Sam's outside the store. Try to get help inside (remember? It's Walmart on the roids). Grumpy cashiers, thieving customers (yes, they get dinged for this), average prices....why do I go back? Well, it's 2 hours closer than Costco. And sometimes I drive the 2 hours. Some of their products are decent quality but don't tell them I said that. Otherwise, I'll get 10 more emails and Facebook ads about going to SC. read more

I have never been able to compare the shopping experience to that of Costco, but with no other Ocala options, I have been a member since I moved here. This store is always out of stock on one or two items that I regularly buy and the order online service is a joke! I have NEVER once picked up my complete order at the time promised and I inevitably wait longer for my order than it would take to do the shopping myself. Yesterday's order was supposed to be ready between 2 and 3, yet I didn't get the email that it is ready till almost 6:00. Costco, get your act together and come to Ocala! Sam's will be out of business here in a month. read more

The parking lot and gas station is completely out of control. There are no employees present, AT ALL!! Cars bumping into each other in the gas line, traffic isles completely blocked because of the gas station. Traffic backed up well onto the main road, causing that to back up. It's ridiculous read more

Sams Club is great but the Headquarters are obviously Not doing there job on Listening to their customers bc I have went inside and the management team has informed me that many customers have already told Headquarters about the revolving problem and their not responding to doing anything about it. All they have to do is shutdown the side of where the Hotel is on the side of cars coming in and just lead cars going out and then it would be a Smooth process. I mean cmon Headquarters get it together this isn't rocket science ‍ read more

I stopped in here on 12-31-2018 for a few items. I picked up some chips, pineapple fruit cups and some cherries. I can't find the cherries in VA, so whenever I am in FL, I pick up a bunch. The store was clean. The check-out was efficient. The bathroom was clean, but there towels to dry my hands were no where near the sink. I managed though. The parking lot was full and several cars were poorly parked, but I guess Sam's Club can't control how their customers park. I will be back....when I run out of cherries. Thanks for always having them. read more

Clean store. Organized. Everyone was wearing masks. Food is constantly rotated. Checking out is easy. Great experience overall.

Lots to see and buy. Customer service was great. Recommend business! Our first time in the store and definitely not last.

Bakery has no customer service skills in Ocala. Why is a cake from cupcakes so hard stating they don't do pull part cake. Ridiculous she didn't say sorry seemed more upset I even bothered to asked. Rolling her eyes...I thought Sam's club would have better standards. Nope not here I respect my elders so I just agreed to take my business elsewhere and not waste my time on someone who doesn't want to work. read more

Store is great, however the deli is never open whenever I visit. I like to take home the pizza for the family. Last three times I shopped they were closed. If they can't get the help, then close it for good. read more

The store was dirty and very low selection of food. If you have A large family And want to buy in bulk don't expect to do that here. They still limit you on what you can get. They Didn't have any hamburger or sausage. The staff was too busy talking to each other rather than helping you. read more

I'm going to just say this I'm beyond irritated and disgusted with the the Cashier Angie took it UPON HER SELF TO SCAN HER OWN MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR MY ORDER While I was trying to get my OWN MEMBERSHIP TO LOAD without my acknowledge so after she scanned a few items, I asked her how do I go about getting the order switched over to my own membership that is when she informed me not to worry about it, that she had scanned her own membership OH HELL NO THAT IS BEYOND POOR CUSTOMER, SERVICE, AND UNACCEPTABLE It makes me wonder how many other customers has she done this to to earn our points I myself had almost a $400 order so after it was all complete I made a manager aware, wondering how we could get this off her membership and moved over to mine. I was told that it's too late there's nothing that can be done. I absolutely do not agree with that, and will be going to corporate. Over this cause there should be disciplined for her actions. As the manager stated absolutely, she should've never of used her own membership for my order. She was doing it just to be nice. In my eyes that's not nice that is stealing. And then wanted to bribe me with a $20 gift card for Sam's Club I am not satisfied, and I am going to corporate to get this resolved. My order will not go on her membership so if you are ever in Sam's Club in Ocala Florida, do not go to the cashier Angie so unfortunately, I have to give this a one star or it will not let me post my review, but in my eyes and honest opinion, she deserves zero you know in my honest opinion, I think very highly of Sam's Club, but from this cashiers poor judgment, it's really making me think about ever returning and I truly enjoy Sam's Club read more

I tried to get a set a tires installed on my 2000 Tahoe it has factory GM accessory wheels on it so they would install the tires after 2 1/2 hours they said because it wasn't the factory wheel but it was the factory GM assessor he will even says Jim on the wheel it came on the vehicle when I purchased it the manager could've cared less told me to take my money and leave so I got a refund and I will take 10 days to credit my debit card back I would never buy tires at Sam's I have been a member for over 20 years and thinking about canceling it read more

Since I started my membership we have not had any issues, price of gas is the best in town, it is busy because is the only place that offers the lowest price, but is pretty organized. We presently belong to Costco. When we moved to Hernando FL found there were no Costco s close by . We were in Ocola yesterday and decided to stop at Sam's . My husband worked for a company that had their plant in Arkansas . He said SAMs club down there were spotless and so clean . We could not believe how filthy this SAMs club was . He went to use the restroom in back used by employees ( one in front was closed ). He could not believe how filthy it was . We were told we could get a guest pass at the register when we came in . When we got to register were told no we had to go to customer service . My husband went over there and waited in line about 15 minutes. There were 3 people in line and never moved in those 15 minutes. We decided at that point to leave . Even when we came in to inquire there was a discussion between the 2 women and their breaks . One was telling the other one she was told to go on break . The other women is saying ' I am not staying past 6:00'. My husband and I are standing here this whole time . This is not what customers want to hear or need to hear . There is nothing about this experience that makes me want to return to this location. I think one star is to much for this SAMs . Management needs to step up at this location clean the store and have a talk with the employees. read more

after trying multiple times to get a manager on the phone to let them know that the rotisserie chicken was very raw on the inside i got hung up on, i was told that all the managers were on lunch.. i guess its a secret manager lunch meeting.. i would have had no issues but they arent taking it seriously, the lady at the front desk said yah yah ill let them know..and hung up...very unprofessional read more

Very poor entrance , very ill conceived gas station layout also less selection and poor display. Very disappointed Ocala Fl.
