Just like the other warehouse store, this one gets busy (especially on the weekends)! The lines for checking out where not long & they have a self scan which I like to use because I can check out much faster! If you like samples, they offer some on weekends (not as many as the other warehouse store) but good luck trying to get one, seems how there is typically a line for them. The nice thing is that with the sample at this warehouse store it doesn't bring out the bad people!! They have a wide selection of products, including some Organic. One thing I did notice is that identical items that are sold both at Costco & Sam's Club are normally (if not always) cheaper at Sam's! Sam's Club membership is also cheaper. Most of the Sam's has a gas station too, which is almost always cheaper then anywhere else (including Costco)! One thing I hate is why do I have to show my membership card when I enter the warehouse (I can't buy anything if I don't have a membership!). BUT what I have noticed is that the people at Sam's don't push you as much to see the membership card, which is nice when you have kids!! The staff I have experienced is nice. Sam's accepts normal credit cards (unlike Costco) which is why I shop here more (not to mention the prices are cheaper too!). read more

I bought a chocolate tuxedo cake for Valentine's Day. The cake was dry, too sweet, and disgusting. When I was almost done I took a bite and found a large piece of clear plastic in the bite. I spit it out and I was horrified. It is extremely unsafe and unsanitary to have such an anomaly in a food item. I have no idea where that plastic has been and I will not be conforming to the corporate billionaire greed from Sam's Club again. read more

Gotta love Scan and go! I'm a senior. It's so convenient to use this scan and go system! Wow!

My experience with this Sams Club was a complete 360 from what I experienced at the Muskegon location.I purchased a 14k 24inch Franco from the Muskegon Location for just a bit under 700.00$The sales associate did nothing to help me ALL.If I didn't know any better I would of thought she was trying to make me not purchase this chain. I came on 2 different days an the first day I was Ignored completely the second day after about 30 mins of begging staff to come over to the jewelry department a lady who I'll call Mik snottily fussed about having to show me the jewelry an her knocking over some other items I was told I couldn't try it on .One of the worst membership I have ever paid for. Im in the process of making them refund my entry fre read more

My husband and I visited the Alpine store to inquire about a membership. We already have Costco membership, but we wanted information on the benefits at Sam's club. We were so happy with TONY and our experience with opening a new membership. We also opened a Sam's Club Mastercard and were so happy with the explanation of everything. TONY in customer service was the best!!! He not only helped us with our membership and mastercard, but went the extra mile and helped us set up our app and scan and go. read more

Went into sams for some items that they were out of which happens. Decide to grab a brownie sunday to go but when i ordered it asked for chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla. Was told it can only be ordered with vanilla. Apparently per a manager new rules include following food recipes with no exceptions. Another rediculous rule change at sams. Will probably move to Costco who is far more consumer friendly when this membership term ends. read more

My wife and I just became members. I visited the eye doctor. The doctor and staff are great. I recommend to everyone to go here.

Very rarely have a had a good experience here. If it weren't for my boyfriend liking the enchiladas I wouldn't go back. The front desk women are very rude and snarky. I wouldn't renew my membership even if it were free. read more

I love Sam's club! Love the fast and easy check out...saves a lot of time! Thank you Sam's club!

I'm a good american and human being and wait in line at the gas pump like everyone else. All traffic needs to flow one way going south (there is even painted arrows on the pavement) but there are idiots that drive through and go north so they can skip the line. I've talked to the management and even the gas tenant they told me there is nothing they can do. Duh! it's your gas station, you can tell them to follow the arrows. read more

I go to Sam's mainly to buy some paper products as well as some food items. Sometimes the packaging is too large with too many of the item I am looking for. I have purchased some electronic items, including Verizon phones here and that has worked out well. I have found that they have some good meat and I have heard that from others as well. The employees are generally pretty helpful. Also, I recommend the membership for buying gasoline for your car as Sam's is usually a few cents a gallon lower than most gas stations. read more

I refueled at the sam's club gas station, added a gas, $35.7, actually deducted $100 from the credit card, went to the member service center of the shop to reflect the situation, the staff did not solve it in time, pushed each other, I went to 2 times, did not solve the problem . read more

Hardly any video games. Freosk only has coupons now. No more coffee for plus members. Good place to get a cheap meal.

The Pharmacy at Sam's Club on Alpine provides prompt, excellent and fast service at a very competitive price. I went out of state on a family vacation 3 weeks ago and my doctor called in my prescription just before I left town leaving me in a real pinch! I really needed the medication before leaving for my trip. I called Sam's less than an hour before they closed to inquire about my medication. I explained my issue over the phone before leaving home and Dylan the pharmacist recognized the urgency of my situation. He immediately got it filled and had it ready for me in less than 30 minutes just before they closed. I was VERY pleasantly surprised. I have been using Sam's for years and another large grocery store pharmacy on occasion for after hours or weekend prescriptions when Sam's is closed. In my opinion, there is no comparison as to the quality, promptness of service and communication when Sam's provides when they're out of the medication, which has only happened once for me. Other pharmacies don't communicate and let you know when they're out of meds, can't fill it for other reasons like insurance or no refills left, etc. The other pharmacies I'm referring to don't tell you that your prescription isn't there until you've wasted your time going. Sam's gives me better service than even the small town, single location pharmacies I've used in the past. Sam's is prompt, professional and caring and will explain side effects, potential drug interactions or any other questions you may have if needed. And...you actually see the pharmacist in the window while you're there! He or she is not hiding in the back out of site like most large pharmacies.. You sure wouldn't expect this level of service from a wholesale warehouse pharmacy, but you do!!! Go there and see for yourself.... Brian in Walker, customer for life. read more

Poorly stocked - missing essential products for weeks, then re-introducing them again... then would not have it in stock for few more weeks again... The product I am talking about is Quinoa in 4 lb bag - it is such a necessary item for vegetarians! Why does it disappear - national shortage or just a careless attitude towards supplies? Seriously considering get a membership at Costco that, unlike Sam`s, keeps higher standards when it comes to supplies. How do I know? Every time Sam`s would not provide me with Quinoa I would go to Costco with my friend who has their membership and FIND WHAT I NEED THERE! I hope Sam`s will hear me this time and improve their stocking situation. read more

Why don't you list the Pharmacy hours on your web page? It costs for transportation only to find that the Pharmacy is closed.

This review is for the Tire Department. I have never been so upset as a customer. I really like Sam's and shop there quite a bit. I'm even a Plus member.I got to the store 30 minutes before they opened and waited in line. I was the second person in line for tire service. The first person was only getting a flat repair so I figured it wouldn't be that long of a wait. Little did I know that the guy working in the tire department was 400 lbs. and moved slower than a turtle. And he was the only person working. It took him 2 hours to do the flat repair and at that time another employee showed up to work on my car. He pulled my car in and came and told me that because of some rust, it was going to be difficult to do but he was going to give it a shot. I said ok but just as he started to do it, the 400 pounder said that they didn't have time to do it and told me that I needed to go somewhere else to get it done. One of the managers came over around that time and said they guys car who they were going to work on after mine was really upset and they needed to get to his car. So I was told that I had to leave. I have a lifetime rotate and balance package that I purchased at Sam's so I'm not going to go somewhere else and pay to get it done. The guy who was going to work on my car was really nice and felt really bad but said that the 400 pounder had more seniority and it was his call. I was at the store for 3 hours and they did absolutely nothing for me. What kind of service is that? What is the point of buying a lifetime rotation and balancing package if they won't even do it? read more
