when i worked at this ice cream shop 3-4 years ago, we didn't turn away any costumers. if they were…read morein line, they were served. the 3 girls who were working mother's day evening were incredibly snobby and honestly seemed quite lazy. first it started off with one of them approaching a customer and directing her to turn away any customers who came in after her. second was the sloppy serving of the ice cream and the excessive eye rolling as new customers approached and were not turned away by the customer who was told to do so. not only did they ask one customer to turn people away, they then asked a second. this time they had this customer tell the new people in line (who were there for at least 10-20 minutes) they couldn't get ice cream because the were closed. there were still multiple people still in line and their open sign was still on.

They have a good selection of hot food, which I was surprised by (even though maybe I shouldn't have been) since it was in a small town (but I am now realizing most small town spots would have hot food from personal travels). Lots of drinks, both alcoholic and not. Multiple aisles were filled to the brim with bagged snacks and the single stall bathroom (for men and women) was clean. Cashiers were friendly and made Nuvu a positive choice for the future when traveling.

So many complaints spots but not positive feedback! Moving on to Ally wow what a wonder customer service attendant. Being in customer service for 30 years and in management I was so impressed. She performed her job well with no complaint! Most importantly she welcomed me coming in the door smiled and assisted me in finding what I came in for. It's so important to make people feel welcomed especially since she was the first person I seen after waking and leaving my hotel. She assured I had everything I needed and because of her I didn't need to stop anywhere else on my trip home. I did let Ms Ally know how very greatful and how appreciative I was to feel so important at a gas station. She is an example of what customer service should represent. The bathroom is in the back near the premade pizza, Nacho's, breadsricks. Just follow your nose. When Tuffy was broken into and my keys were stolen, I didn't blame Tuffy…read more I do blame Tuffy for failing to communicate basic information, for telling me "F you" and for calling me a bitch. First, the manager, I believe his name was Gary, barked at me when I stated I didn't want to file a claim on my insurance policy since the cost to replace the key would be below my deductible and would cause my rates to go up. (Unfortunately we only had the one set of keys). He stated per their insurance company I had to - so I did. When both the police and my insurance company said to get my vehicle towed right away so that the thieves couldn't come back to steal my car, which my insurance stated would not cover if I didn't move it as I am required to mitigate known risk, I made arrangements to do so immediately. We spoke to the staff at Tuffy 3 times that morning where we advised that a tow truck would be coming to tow the vehicle to the Honda dealership to have new keys made, and all 3 times were told "ok". The tow truck arrived and the fine folks at Tuffy sent them away, as we had not yet paid the bill for the work that was done. They didn't bother to call us when this happened. I'm not an unreasonable person, and I completely understand that the bill should be paid. Never having had a situation like this I wasn't thinking about anything but getting my car out of their lot as both the police and my insurance company advised. Had the folks at Tuffy said anything about the bill the 3 times we spoke that morning I would have paid over the phone immediately. I simply didn't even think about it. The manager informed me that they likely assumed I had already paid. Ok, fair enough. They could have given me a call when the tow truck was there to advise that I needed to pay right then or they would send the truck away - and I absolutely would have paid immediately. The kicker is that when I spoke to the managers at Tuffy and explained my frustration, having made a dozen phone calls during my work day to deal with this issue between Tuffy, the police, my insurance company, and the Honda dealership, there was never an apology. The manager told me it was common sense that they wouldn't release the vehicle until the bill was paid when I asked why no one called me before sending the tow truck away - again, I simply wasn't thinking about anything other than getting my car moved, and when I told him I wouldn't be doing business there anymore told me he wasn't going to deal with me and hung up on me. Nice. When I picked up my vehicle today and again told him I wouldn't be doing business with them anymore, he told me "fuck you" TWICE, and called me a bitch. So I would recommend that you look elsewhere for your vehicle repair needs.
