Last week my wouldn't start and I called my auto emergency for help. Sam came and tried to start my car with no luck. I decided to have it towed to West Side Service and as Sam was trying to load it some rust fell off the underside. I told him to tow it over to WSS and let Mary take a look. Within 20 minutes I got a call from Mary saying the undercarriage was so rusted that they'd never get it on the hoist. In the meantime, Sam said he'd take it to his place and Mary told him No! She knew I had personal items that I'd want to get out of the car and Sam told her I could come get them at his business which was stupid because he's on 32nd Street. She immediately called me while he was standing there and told me what he wanted to do. I told her no way and she told him no, again, while she was on the phone with me. She said she didn't trust him and he was up to something. That was good enough for me and I told her to do whatever she thought best. He did leave without my car and when she called me back she said if I could get her my title she'd call a couple of scrap places and get it sold. My son got all my stuff out and left my title. She called later to tell me she not only sold it but got one place to up the price by $25.00. This is why I love and trust this place. They always do the right thing by their customers. I had no reservations about letting Mary handling selling my car because she and her employees are so honest. She took all my worries into consideration and at 73, I never gave any of it a second thought. If you're looking for a trustworthy service for your car....go to West Side Service.

Being full-service means you drive your car up to the car wash, then disembark, and the staff takes it from there. You can follow your car through the wash, looking at it through windows from a comfortable walkway. At the end you'll end up in a small auto shop with the cashier. There you can buy air fresheners and other auto maintenance products. Meanwhile, your car's wash ends with a towel dry by the staff and your car is waiting for you at the exit. Overall, it's an interesting experience and generally gets your car much cleaner than a common coin-operated automated carwash. Pricing is a bit high, but for the service you get, it's reasonable.

Long Story short, using our debit card was our own mistake and something we usually take for granted in washes where you can use a debit not all of them allow for it so it was kinda cool they they did and we thought would make it quicker and easier to pay and be done with it! How wrong we were!! Usually we use cash!! From now on, if we ever go to these kinds of car washes, we will use cash!! The machine went extremely slow literally like molasses moving one cent at a time when using our debit!! we had someplace to be and didn't have time to wait for such a slow, indecisive machine like that!! After doing that for a full minute or two it felt like it asked us to pick the cycle and my husband did, then it wanted more money like the greedy machine it was, lol!! We thought maybe we just had to pay first so he re swiped his card and again it asked the cycle choice and acted as if we didn't put money in!! By this point, we were done with it!! We just paid the $2 freaking dollars in cash and chose our cycle!! It worked okay from that point on but I was worried it had debited our account since we still had swiped his card!! I checked our account, holding my breath and sure enough, $10!! Ya, we could have paid for a Tommy's Express car wash cycle for $9 and they do it for you plus it's more Professional and thorough!! We're going to probably re-sign up next month for the monthly washes at Tommy's Express, at least until the coronavirus epidemic blows over because at least you pay once a month and they bill your card once!! Then, you're done with it and you can use their App and get unlimited washes as much as your heart desires!! The debit cleared today as $3 which upsets us, mostly because we had already paid $2 for the cheap thing!! Yes, I get it that it's cheap and $3 more isn't a lot but we basically paid double what it was worth and they still took money from our account when we already paid cash!! It's not right and if it can happen to us, it can happen to you too!! We have had this same thing happen with laundry mat machines where it steals your money!! These companies should actually care about their services!!!
