This review is a little over due, twice. I have had two procedures done by Dr Nagda and his staff over the last 3 years. The most recent was a reverse shoulder replacement (rt side) that was done in Dec 2019. It is now Oct 2020, a little late, sorry. At least the review will cover not just the normal recovery period but a generous return to normal life period. I am a very active outdoors person, I fly fish, bow hunt, and paddle canoes and kayaks and carry backpacks. Obviously I was concerned about my ability to live my "normal" life after shoulder replacement. Long story short, I have not found a limit on what I can do yet. That is not to say that I am reckless or that I am being irresponsible, I have almost the same range of motion I did 20 years ago. Since the week of the surgery I sleep through the night. That hadn't happened for the last year before surgery. I should have done it much sooner is all I can say. Staff was great and Dr Nagda listened to all my concerns and was confident that I would return to the activities that I was used to. Since the replacement I have been on a week long fly fishing trip, I have returned to bowhunting and I am climbing trees to hang stands with no issues. I paddled 3 days in a canoe on a trip with my daughter and i have run a chain saw for more hours that I care to. I simply could not be happier with the outcome. Of course physical therapy needs to be followed religiously and strengthening after therapy is officially over helps. Lastly, the reason I went to Dr Nagda in the first place is because of the wonderful results from my left shoulder rotator cuff rebuild. A story for another day. As much as I appreciate his skills and he is a nice guy, I hope I am done with him for a while!! But I do still owe him a salmon. read more

I have no words to express my gratitude to Dr. Nagda. When my aunt needed an orthopedist because of her shoulder problems, I showed her the pictures of the Anderson Clinic doctors and she chose Dr. Nagda. The wisdom of an 89 years old woman is not mistaken.We arrived at the appointment and we met with a special human being, he evaluated her and gave us treatment options.After PT and cortisone injections she is doing well. Now this is my story;I had swelling and pain in my right knee for months,another orthopedist outside Anderson clinic had evaluated me and said that my problem was arthritis,that every 4 months I had to get an injection until a knee replacement was necessary. Dr Nagda is the best. His bedside manners are the best I have ever seen. I took my dad to see doctor Nagda back in March 2021for a rotator cuff tear. Dr Nagda is not only a great Surgeon but also a great human being. my dad has always felt anxious about doctors due to his limited English but with Dr Nagda was a completely different story. When Dr Nagda told my dad that he needed surgery, my dad was not hesitant or scared I remember him saying to me " I feel that he will do a great job" and 5 months later I can say my dad was 1 million percent correct. When I came to see Dr. Nagda, it was about 2 1/2 months after my initial fall which damaged my shoulder. I had researched and tried several remedies I found on the internet but my pain continued and was getting worse. I didn't want surgery but I received two opinions that said my injury was significant and I needed surgery. When I had my consultation with Dr. Nagda, he listened to my concerns and explained in laymen's terms my condition and the pros & cons of surgery. At no time did I feel rushed into making a decision and he answered every question I had. Since a lot of time had passed since my injury, he took immediate action because I was at risk of permanent disability. There are no words to describe how thankful and grateful I am for Dr. Nagda's knowledge, understanding, empathy and care during the extremely difficult time I had with my shoulder injury. It has been 3 years since my first injury and original diagnosed. After multiple surgery, misdiagnosed and failed treatments, I was referred to Dr. Nagda by my physical therapist due to the pain and damage to my shoulder/arm. Since the 1st day I saw him, he correctly diagnosed the problem (I had a bone infection) and immediately took actions to correct it. It has been a long and painful road. Dr. Nagda is a down-to-earth kind of guy. He avoided overcomplicated descriptions when talking to me and focused simply on my symptoms and what he determined was the cause and necessary steps to correct them. I have had multiple shoulder surgeries completed by Dr. Nagda. Every one was explained thoroughly and executed exactly as described. I only had one issue with the results and it was a risk that was thoroughly understood and explained and that I accepted before hand. The care I received and the compassion and support provided was without equal. From the front desk, to the in-room assistants, nurses, and even med students at times, everyone was friendly, concerned with my well being and helpful in any way they could be. I have been a patient of Dr. Nagda for the past three years, he has fixed both my right and left rotator cuff and a torn labrum via surgical repair. His bedside manner is very good and he takes the time to explain the procedure and the pros and cons of surgical repair. He prefers for patients to try physical therapy if he feels it will resolve the problem without surgery. This is one of the reasons I rate him so highly. I have referred two close friends to him: both had great outcomes. If you have shoulder issues, he is the doctor to see. His staff is great and very approachable. I met Dr. Nagda in 2017 because I was having pain in my right shoulder that was affecting my ability to live my regular life. I was also having pain in my left shoulder, but it wasn't as bad. I had reverse right shoulder replacement surgery in Sept., 2017. Since that time there has been no pain and the shoulder healed well. When I went for my one year checkup I made an appointment to have my left shoulder replaced. It was a reverse again, and again everything went smoothly. I feel like I never had a shoulder problem. I've been a satisfied patient of Dr. Nagda for several years. I drive several hours and about 125 miles round trip to see him and don't hesitate for a second as he is worth it! I just saw him again for another emergent issue (decades of military service chewed me up considerably...). His office staff is efficient as usual, and I saw him on time. He listened to my concerns and explained everything he would do to fix the damage to my shoulder. Saw Dr. Nagda for a swimming-related shoulder problem. (Had seen him 4 years ago for a problem with the other shoulder) He quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem (had feared a rotator cuff tear but was only inflammation of the bursa) and prescribed treatment that after only two days is already showing results. Same for an elbow injury (tennis elbow unrelated to tennis) that he treated simultaneously. Dr. Nagda performed surgery on my right knee, At the age of 44 and a fall 5 years previously. I was hard headed and pushed forward, to the point it completely failed me.
