Nearing 7 decades of a physical life, I've put a LOT of wear and tear on my body. I've been coming…read moreto Full Strength for a while with several areas of work. Every therapist has been effective, some areas are taking more work. I'm writing today regarding the superb post-right shoulder replacement PT. My therapist is Libby Sudhoff, she is more physical than most, and will work at any discomfort to mitigate the pain. I've had 12 sessions with her and only a few more before she goes on to her next traveling PT assignment. I'm very grateful for the progress and reclaimed flexibility her work has done for me.

5-Star Review for Full Strength Physical Therapy (formerly Solutions PT), Arlington, Va…read more I can't say enough wonderful things about Full Strength Physical Therapy and especially Andy and Danny. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed into a clean, comfortable, and supportive environment with a genuinely caring team. Andy and Danny are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. They truly listen--something that means so much when you're dealing with chronic pain and multiple health challenges. I've been treated for back and neck stenosis, knee issues from a torn meniscus, and ongoing pain, and they have been patient, thoughtful, and determined every step of the way. What really stands out is how much they care about your progress. They take the time to tailor exercises specifically to your needs and clearly explain how to do them at home, which has made a huge difference in my recovery. Their combination of hands-on therapy and targeted exercises has helped improve my mobility, balance, and strength--and most importantly, reduced my pain so I can finally rest better. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and incredibly professional. There's a strong sense that everyone is invested in helping you achieve your goals. Convenient location with easy parking is just the icing on the cake. I'm so grateful to have found them--this team has truly made a meaningful, life-changing impact on my quality of life. Highly recommend!

Earlier, he helped clear up a severe case of plantar fasciitis, principally by my buying and wearing a pair of $100 clogs. Most recently, when Dr K was unavailable, I consulted another surgeon friends had recommended; he advised me that I had a torn meniscus and recommended an arthroscopy. Dr K quickly determined my essential problem is arthritis; no surgery, no time off training, no recuperation. Noting the reviews of others, yes, as in just about any medical office, it's not uncommon to experience a bit of a wait on occasion. The X-ray technician was pretty brusk. Give me time and I could probably pick another nit or two. Bottom line, however, I couldn't be more satisfied.

The pre-auth team does NOT care about the patients. I was scheduled for two procedures, and for both procedures I was lied to and told a pre-auth was submitted. After I contacted my health insurance company myself, I was told it was never submitted. This applies to two different procedures: one in July and one in September. There has to be better offices out here that have more respect and care for their patients. This isn't it! Waiting 2 weeks at the minimum is unacceptable for a pre-auth to be submitted. It is truly unacceptable and very unprofessional! And then to LIE about it both times is truly unacceptable! That said I won't be going back and will look for better care elsewhere. Dr. Kittridge and Dr. Yeh are both good doctors, but the unprofessional support team has run me away! If you want great care, look elsewhere!

I'm currently on month ten since an injury and Dr. Asomugha is the second doctor I've been to, and…read morethe only one who was able to actually identify a problem and solve it. Wasn't thrilled the solution required surgery, but I am about 10 weeks post surgery and working on getting myself back to normal. I have a pretty long recovery ahead still, but am beyond grateful for Dr. Asomugha and her team. OrthoVirginia is fantastic. Everyone on the staff has been helpful and kind, explained everything I needed and even very patiently spoke to my parents to explain to them what was going on. After about two months of visits, Dr. Asomugha recommended surgery. I am a little over two months since surgery and while I'm still not back to 'normal' life, the (minimal) exercises I am cleared to do in PT are pain free - I am so very optimistic about having a pain free future and getting back to working out again in the near future. In one of my post op appointments, my scar looked hideous and was making me nauseous and she handled my being a giant baby like a charm and told me a story of her having a similar moment, so I felt a lot better about my small freak out. When I had a (non-related to surgery, but in the area) problem, she immediately made time for me, gave me her personal phone number and genuinely showed concern for my issue, even though it didn't have anything to do with her surgery. She truly cares about her patients and their well being. I am so grateful for finding Dr. A online and her team. I have been to both the Duke St. and Walker Lane locations and the staff at both is extraordinarily friendly. Wait times are small, I am always seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time and I never feel rushed, but don't feel like the appointments drag on. I 100000% recommend Dr. A for anyone having leg/ankle/foot issues - I hope that after I am done recovering I never have to use her again, but will in a heartbeat if I ever tear something again. She is an amazing surgeon and a truly fantastic doctor.

Everyone involved in the appointment, including the front desk staff and the medical scribe who took notes during the appointment, was professional and the care was coordinated well. In fact, she offered to check my insurance right away and we determined that I was covered. Then she immediately got me scheduled for a same-day treatment. She is an awesome first impression to Dr Hawa! Getting here was easy and convenient. I recommend bringing a jacket with you, the office is very cool. Meeting Dr. Hawa was similarly great. He's a warm, friendly, and boisterous guy who I instantly liked. We hit it off talking about barefoot shoes and I quickly learned that he's a fountain of interesting tips and facts. Next, we began the patient interview and his line of questioning let him diagnose what was going on and sure enough, his corrective actions brought immediate relief. I like that Dr. Hawa is also in sports medicine and rehabilitation because he has a lot of exposure to athletes and their various ailments. As an avid indoor rock climber, we were able to talk through the pain I'd been experiencing, what I'd done to cause it, and exercises I could do to help strengthen and prevent this from recurring. He even showed me pictures from a medical book to better illustrate what was going on with my body. After some painless adjustments, he used interferential therapy, a kind of electronic stimulation therapy. I later looked it up and unlike TENS therapy which sends a current across your skin, interferential penetrate deeper providing some pretty legit relief. On top of the interferential therapy, he placed a heating pad on the affected area.
