At first she said it was normal for the muscles to overcompensate when the Botox wears off. But when I provided a picture to show her how bad it was she insinuated it was because I was actively frowning and said it couldn't be the Botox because I only had a low amount. She seemed to contradict herself. In retrospect, I should have been more skeptical of the overwhelmingly positive reviews because this business incentivizes customers to post Google reviews. At checkout, I was offered a free Glow Skin lip product for completing a Google review before leaving. Google and Yelp both have policies prohibiting businesses from incentivizing reviews as it is considered consumer manipulation and creates artificial bias. There is at least one other review noting they too were "encouraged" to leave a review on the spot.

The PA did a thorough job once I was in the room asking what my concerns/needs were for the Dr. Which I thought was nice that I didn't have to tell the receptionist upon booking, since these things are kind of sensitive to talk about to a random person. Dr Brittany came into the room with a big smile. I felt very at ease talking to her and did not feel insecure discussing my dermatology needs and getting half naked to show her LOL. When I arrived a representative for Restylane was trying to get me to sign up for a separate rewards program which would give me an additional $20 off of my service, so I signed up. There was issues with the tablet and it wouldn't actually let me sign up but they still honored the $20 off of my service which was nice. They had free food and drinks and dessert which was perfect because I was starving after a long day at work. I brought my friend who also took advantage of the special for the open house. I filled out paperwork, I got there at 4:30pm and I wasn't seen until 6:00pm, the wait was okay because I was with my friend but if I wasn't catching up with her I would have become frustrated due to the wait. There was no one before me from the time I walked in at 4:30pm so I don't know what was the holdup. I got back into the patient room and there were lots of assistants coming and going as I was having my consultation which was distracting and I didn't know who to focus on, I get easily distracted. Although there was a lot going on I felt like I had the doctors full attention. Also; not important but I did note that my room did not have a TV or music playing like the room my friend was placed in, which is fine but the inconsistency was weird. It made me feel like my money was less important than my friends money who got the bigger room with the extra stuff haha. The doctor was very nice and he let me know when I would feel pinches which was nice to expect. He let me hold a mirror to show him where I thought I needed more/ my opinion. He was done within a few minutes. Also; I wanted a canula to be used, when I called the rep who answered the phone confirmed he would be using a canula but doctor said during the consultation that he uses a blunt needle. This was a bummer because I was misinformed. There were also assistants coming in and out while the actual procedure was happening which was distracting for me as I was trying to focus on relaxing due to the pain. The office in general has very nice employees, the office was clean, although I felt like it was disorganized. My friend was missing some papers from her stack of paperwork, my friend received a nice care gift bag with a post treatment pamphlet and a business card while I had to ask for one. We both received ice packs for our lips which was nice. From what I can see from results looks great. I have a two week follow up appointment that they called and scheduled for me so a follow up call was very nice. I will be going back to this office again for other services in hopes that there are established organizational procedures and keeping visitors who come in and out during a procedure to a minimum.

I'm posting this review exactly 1 day shy of being 3 months out from my double eyelid surgery. I…read morecan sum my experience up in one statement - I wish I'd done it sooner! I'd debated double eyelid surgery my whole life but got really interested during COVID. I saw some tapes that claimed they could give permanent double eyelids by using for 6 months or more every night. They worked...until they didn't! When the double eyelids stopped showing up one morning, what I did realize was how looser/lower the skin had gotten from the repeated crease tracing and tapes. Not good at all when compounded with how fatty/thick my eyelids naturally are. I also realized how my eyelids were getting in the way. I was unconsciously raising my right eyebrow pretty much the entire day in order to see better as the eyelid was covering so much of my pupil (which is also to say that my eyelashes were basically invisible at that point). I was starting to develop a wrinkle on the right side of my forehead only from this. Given my family has been debating a trip to Korea for a while, I also thought about pushing off getting my eyelids done in Korea. But I didn't want to spend a good week or so of precious vacation time dealing with recovery. Plus, what if something DID go wrong, I wanted a local doctor I could easily follow up with! I booked a consultation with Dr. Chaboki as he had the best portfolio out of all local doctors. This area already has a limited pool so I wasn't too hopeful when I first searched, and was worried I might have to go to NY or CA to find a doctor familiar with Asian eye anatomy. I needn't have worried as Dr. Chaboki gave me the exact results I wanted. I merely wanted my lashline visible and a defined fold. I've heard some doctors push ptosis correction (even in cases where it might not be needed), and epicanthoplasty alongside double eyelid procedures but there was none of that here. After all, ptosis is a medical condition and a whole different procedure. I booked the surgery and took a 1.5 weeks off of work, even though I work from home, because I knew my eyes would be tired. The procedure was easy-peasy, not to minimize anything since it's still a surgical procedure, but it was so tolerable. I had no ill effects (compliance with aftercare instructions is of utmost importance!). I will say there was a big difference at the 6 week mark in terms of healing. A really natural look settled in by then. And now at 3 months there's an even bigger difference and I don't think anyone would be able to tell unless I disclosed it. Very happy with my results and Dr. Chaboki is clearly a master at his craft and he's SO specialized in facial work, it really immediately shows!

When I asked why that hadn't been communicated to patients who had lab orders in she said verbatim "I don't know what information did or did not go out to patients about this." Clearly since I was there for labs, none did and she couldn't have cared less. She didn't even offer other options until I asked so where can I go and then shoved a list of places in my hand. I reminded her they need information patients if this and left. I went to one of the other locations and ended up having to pay $9 for parking at the lab location.

They charge you $466 to walk in the door. Charge you an extra $20 to ask you if you have any mental…read morehealth issues.
