If I could leave -5 stars I would. I suffered at the hands of George Bitar for 10 months. I will tell everyone I encounter he ruined my life and took no accountability for his actions. I'd like to start by saying Sam Robinson on YouTube recommended this doctor so I've waited for this surgery for ten plus years and I feel like she should also be held accountable for recommending a surgeon to young impressionable girls on YouTube. I saved up 10.6 thousand dollars because I thought you get what you pay for let's spend the most money for a boob job and I'll get the best one when other surgeons do it for under five grand. Scheduling was bad. Plans always changed and they kept telling me I needed clearances and then I didn't and then I did oops then I didn't. It was stressful. Day of surgery dr bitar completely treated my partner like he was invisible to the point my partner didn't come to post op appointments with me. Two weeks post op I knew I was botched I'm not even joking. Matter of fact I knew something was wrong when I got off the table and had no cleavage right upon waking up after surgery. They took the tape off at two weeks and i knew my surgery was botched. It shifted right to my armpit. I couldn't put my arm down. I have shooting nerve pain all around my side and back and couldn't sleep for months. My boobs are flat and go to my side when I lay down. It doesn't even look like I have a boob job how malpositioned he placed them. He kept gaslighting me saying it's just swelling it will go down , then it was oh it's how my chest is shaped and that's naturally where they sit , then I kept bugging because I'm in pain and can't workout without a tit being in my armpit and he said I have to wait a year to get a revision that he would also be charging me for another cost when he botched me. On top of almost eleven thousand dollars. He also had the nerve to say how he does thousands of surgeries and he never has complaints and he was getting snappy saying that I'm unhappy and he is the best surgeon. Like drop the ego you botched a young girl and don't want to take responsibility. Embarrassing. Everyday people ask me why I paid for this and say how far apart they are and how this is not normal. Other surgeons questioned if he was even board certified or even a real doctor at all they were so horrified. The scars are so deep and keloided when he insisted on going through my armpit because he'd leave no scar. Then told me to revise them he'd make a new cut under the breast. No thanks you already have me looking like a Texas chainsaw victim. Three or four other surgeons told me to write a review and not to let this go because dr bitar made the pocket too large and didn't take any accountability and has no pride in his work to fix his error in a timely manor free of charge. all other doctors said they'd be embarrassed to charge for a revision if they did this. I thankfully am not hurting for money and can afford to go elsewhere to fix what he did to me but please I am begging you if you have to save your money and a surgery is something you really want and don't want to have to revise it or spend any extra when it's done poorly , please find another surgeon and stay far away from this botch job of a clown who calls himself a good surgeon. I feel obligated to warn others about my experience with Dr. George Bitar. What started as a typical cosmetic improvements turned into years of physical and emotional damage. I went to him for a rhinoplasty to reduce the size of my nose. After surgery, my nose became unstable -- the nostrils collapsed when I tried to breathe or lay on my side. He did a revision using cartilage from my ear, but my nose was still floppy, and my breathing got worse. I could literally touch the tip of my nose to each cheek! At each follow up appointment, Dr Bitar would change his story on how he would correct it. That was scary, and I clearly could not trust him to do a third revision. Later, another surgeon discovered that my septum had actually been removed, not repaired. I eventually needed a full reconstructive surgery using rib cartilage just to restore basic structure and airflow. That surgery was even covered by my health insurance. Five years of surgeries, and I'm still recovering from number three. My nose will never look the same again!! I also had a chin implant done by Dr Bitar no. It was far too large -- even people close to me said it looked unnatural -- and it wasn't properly secured, so it moved painfully when I slept. When I complained, Dr Bitar kept changing his story, even claiming it was "supposed" to move. I eventually had it replaced by another surgeon, and the new one is secure and looks normal. In my opinion, this Dr. Bitar is careless, dismissive, and unwilling to take responsibility when things go wrong. Dr Bitar and staff are incredibly friendly. The center is clean and bright and very welcoming. I had an implant exchange at his surgical center one month ago. The procedure went well and I am recovering well. I went from 300cc saline to 485cc silicone. My complaint is that I do not see the difference I was hoping for/ expecting. When I got my first implants 13 years ago, the doctor at the time used technology that showed my EXACT breasts on the computer screen with varying degrees of implant sizes. I was incredibly happy with my results because I got the exact size that I saw on the screen in the pre-op appts. At Dr. Bitar's, you add saline/ silicone implants into your bra to attempt to figure out the correct new size. As you can imagine, this does not work well. With implants already in your body, adding the silicone implants in your bra does not yield the same result as surgery, nor can it replicate seeing your own breasts larger/ smaller on a computer screen. It is misleading and, quite frankly, completely unhelpful. I wish I had voiced my concerns at the time. When I landed on the (new) range of 450-510cc's, I naturally assumed that would yield a *much* larger breast appearance. In reality, it did not. My breasts look almost identical to how they looked pre-surgery. This is very disappointing... one, because of the amount of money I spent and two, because I was really excited about my new look. I would encourage you to look at his side-by-side photos of implant exchanges, to determine the size and look that you want. Do you see the change you are hoping for? I wish I had done that. So with that said, I did extensive research to find a reputable plastic surgeon, I read every review possible on Dr. Bitar, both medical and patients. I can honestly say Dr. Bitar is a very gifted and respected surgeon. Though patient reviews is a good place to start, it is equally important to do research beyond that. He is a well respected and gifted doctor, and his professional standing with his peers here in the United States and in various countries, along with all the medical boards, speaks for itself. With that said, I also researched all the procedures he performed on me. I learned that it takes a good year if not a little longer, especially for fat grafting before you see the final results. I did not go into this thinking that I would see the desired results overnight. I knew that it really does take time. Now a year later, everyone compliments on how young I look. I am very pleased with the results. I am 56 years of age, and since the surgery, I have had nothing but compliments. As a matter a fact. I gave Dr. Bitar permission to post a picture of my 28 year old daughter and myself side by side. He posted the picture and asked his viewers to guess who was the daughter and who was the mother. Dr. Bitar has done three cosmetic surgery procedures for me in the last two years. My eyes have always been my best feature, but I always had "heavy lids" which got much heavier as I aged into my fifties. People started to tell me I looked really tired. I had to do a breast implant replacement a couple years ago which was medically necessary, and I finally took the plunge and had my eyelift done at the same time. I can most honestly say that Dr. Bitar made my eyes look better than they did in my twenties ! I am having so much fun applying makeup again, that used to just rub off because of my lids. And you absolutely cannot tell where the stitches were. Should have done this years ago! This year I decided to get my neck and chin lift done. To save money on anesthesia, I opted to utilize the new in-house operating center at Dr. Bitar's Fairfax location and have the procedure done with only local anesthesia. My girlfriends thought I was crazy. It was actually no big deal; very much like going to the dentist for a crown or oral surgery. You can feel the pulling and pressure, and you know what is being done, but you can't feel anything. I got my breast augmentation done 3 weeks ago the next day of surgery I was mobile and was able to dress myself for my follow up appointment. I only had to take pain meds the first 2 days just to help me sleep. Recovery is going really well, my breast looks amazing already.
